When they arrived, Naomi could only grin at Dezember's excitement, feeding off of that energy instead of wanting to be back home peering at a Dostoevsky novel and sipping red wine. She pulled out gold hoop earrings and jabbed them into her ears as they got out of the car. "Let's do this." She was not surprised by Dezember grabbing her when they got inside the club nor was she at all surprised by the sounds of appreciation by the guys they passed. It wasn't hard to hear them. Even with the music playing, they had to push up on a few people to get to the bar and well, the sounds were obvious. They liked what they saw. It was typical of whenever she went out with Dezember, and no, Naomi wasn't going to acknowledge the fact that some of those catcalls were probably for her as well.
"Why am I not surprised? Not even in here ten seconds and you've got all eyes on you," Naomi griped playfully and downed the shot glass, not even hiding the way her face scrunched up at the burn in her throat. She had discovered, surprisingly, that she was not a lightweight. It definitely took a few drinks to get her there. The main thing was that Naomi also wasn't that much of a drinker. Red wine? She could do that. Fruity drinks? Those were fun. Shots? Not her favorite. Still feeling a bit playful and seeing a few other guys, a blonde from her Critical Studies course, staring their way. "Watch! There's going to be a tall, dark and gorgeous in your future and I'm gonna sit back and say I told you so." Giggling, Naomi allowed her eyes to wander around before falling on an approaching tall, dark and gorgeous man with eyes too intense to be legal. She turned away quickly, feeling the heat rise to her cheeks as she muttered to Dezember, "And I just spoke that into existence." Despite anything Dezember would have to tell her and because Naomi refused to look back up to see who he was coming for, she could only presume that beautiful and classy Dezember was his objective and she couldn't even blame him.
He had not seen when Raven had disappeared, but he did notice his brother's absence after a while. He also didn't choose to look for him either. Raven had a habit of going into his office when he was done with dealing with people, so it didn't surprise Nate that he was gone. However, he smirked to himself when he saw his brother's return, noting the fresh color that warmed his skin. Fucker probably fed, he thought and laughed a little, gesturing to the older male. "And there's McBrooderson," he exclaimed and the girls followed his line of vision. Already, he could smell the lust rolling off of them and he could only smell it - amidst the lust tainting the air of the room from various different sources - because he was so close to them. It made Nate roll his eyes before he added, "Careful though, ladies. He's a real biter." Chuckling at his own pun and the curiosity on one of the girls' faces, Nate peered curiously at a determined looking Raven. He followed his brother's line of sight curiously only for his gaze to fall on a particularly delectable set of brunettes. The one in the skintight, satin dress with soft curls toward the ends of her hair was the one who drew him in more, but he didn't move. Not until he saw where his brother was going. And how he was going to act. After all, Raven didn't just pursue women off random. Nate smirked.
This ought to be interesting.
