"Richmond...I'm sorry. I'm so sorry."
Richmond had just walked in with his son, when there stood Arabelle, and he sighed, letting the Nanny take the boy. He winced as she touched his cheek. "As long as you're okay, I am." He spoke softly, and looked down. "Why aren't you in bed? You need to rest."He said harshly, and thought against kissing her cheek. "I.. have business to get to, your Highness. You must get to bed. You need the rest more than I."
That night, began the talk of war with the other Kingdoms, as most were now boycotting miscellaneous items, and running rampant through all of the towns. Richmond declared war, without Arabelle knowing, of the Kingdoms immediately surrounding them.
At first, it seemed an easy win, as Richmond had the biggest kingdom, but then.. countries were joining from overseas, and he had to enlist more Kingdoms, and soon it was an International War. Richmond had gotten himself entangled in the one thing he said he wouldn't do like his Father, and ended up doing exactly what he had. To the point, where he had to leave the Kingdom for it's safety.
"It's just a trip, Daddy's going on, alright?" Damien cried as he hugged Richmond, who couldn't hold back himself either. "Shh.. I'll be back before you know it, son." He said comfortingly, and handed him to Arabelle. He didn't know how to tell her goodbye, and gave her a simple kiss on the head. They hadn't been on the best terms lately, and he hated himself for it. "I'm so sorry.." He whispered in her ear, and then picked up his bag, attaching it to the horse's saddle, with his guns, and he rode off into the horizon.
