He exhaled through his nose before putting his spoon down calmly, wiping his lips on his napkin and leaning towards her across the table.
"Lea" he started, his voice almost a whisper, "You're obviously very, very clever, ok, but being a journalist you are probably aware there's often much, much more to a guy than appears.
