He was alone. He had been relaxing for a time, a few empty mugs sat on the table next to him. He was lounging back in the booth with his clawed feet up on the table. The bar was loud, many patrons had come and gone but it was later in the evening, many have gotten off work and are now spending their hard earned coin at the tavern. Some gave Ulysses a sideways looks but most avoided him. He had been watching the patrons closely but after awhile he began to read a small book, though his ears caught most of the conversations. A few bards stood next to each other playing a lively tune, Ulysses couldn't help but tap his clawed foot on the table.
