"Come on up." she said, and he did, taking the stairs, he'd never been a fan of lifts. As he climbed he imagined how she might look, suits was his thing, that was how he looked, but did she even enjoy wearing fancy clothes, was she expecting a casual dinner. He'd never really known casual, ever since he'd been introduced to his father's "business" he had spent his time in smokey bars talking to guys he knew had either murdered, or would murder if needed. A date with a girl, he had no idea what to do.
He reached the door, checked his breath and put on a smile, raising his hand and knocking on the cold wood, heart racing.
