Ereida sat by Simon's lifetree. It was still as large and as thick as it's always been but he was still gone. He hadn't returned, years it's been, and nothing. Yet, Erieda wouldn't give up on him, not her son. He was her first born, and while she loved all of her childern, she felt an instant connection to him. He was the one that clung to her, when Symone clung to her father. Erieda never took it negatively, she was fine with that, Simon was more Fae than he was Wraith, same as Symone was more Wraith then Fae. Alexis, their youngest, was something else entirely.
Erieda had lost all over her children at one point in time. Symone was killed by Alex by mistake, Alexis died once during her birth, which gave her, her odd abilities, and now Simon, only this time, Simon has yet to return. She knew he would, one day, he had too. He was too much like her and she was called Erieda the Unkillable.
Now all she had was Alexis, Alex was gone, and honestly, Erieda blamed herself, she'd been so greif stricken after Simon that she felt she may have pushed her husband away. She loved him dearly, she did, but the loss of her son consumed her.
She made so many mistakes, she didn't know where to begin with fixing them.
