Both Mikaze and Hitoshi listened to the piece of music through Mikaze's earbuds for a few moments. As the melody went on, Mikaze kept thinking about the whole ordeal ahead of both him and his best friend. He keeps asking himself whether if everything's going to be alright. He already said that they can always acted normally like they always did and pretend like this whole trip is just a normal school trip where they can have fun together as friends. He had a feeling that he has been asking himself the same questions over and over again, only to be even more confusing of what will come when the day is over. But perhaps, it's time to just let things go on naturally like the way it was. Everything he cares of is still within his reach, so Mikaze didn't think that he had to worried about anything for now.
And then, Hitoshi commented on the piece of music and that there should be a piano somewhere in the condo where they will be staying so they would be able to practice. Mikaze nodded, "Yeah, I've brought my violin with me. And since there were only four of us, I don't think the others would mind, really. We should just practice like we normally did. I also searched for the sheets and have printed them already. I'll give you yours later when we arrive."
With that said, Mikaze fixed his gaze outside of the window as the scenery kept passing them, but since it's already dark so they couldn't see much rather than the streetlights on their way. Both of them didn't say much with each other for the rest of the trip as they just listened to whatever songs that were played on Mikaze's player. He also shared some snacks that he brought along for the trip with Hitoshi. Other than that, things seemingly were quite calm although awkwardness is still staining in the air.
After a couple of another hours, they finally have reached the beach house.
Mikaze could already hear the sound of waves and the mild salty atmosphere people can always feel at the beach. As the vehicle slowly stopped at the entrance of the house, Mikaze grabbed his belongings and headed down first. Standing in front of the house, he took an examining glance over the house. It was pretty much like those houses at the springs where he used to visit with Hitoshi before. It was quite a nice place if looking from the outside and he'll probably have quite a good time here. Mikaze stood still and waited for the others to get off the coach.
