"As you wish." Anna had felt it was worth the risk, given the dangerous situation they were facing, but there was no time to debate the matter now. It would have been difficult enough to only find the children, or set the stables amok, or open the gate and light a signal. To do everything with only two Dogs was a momentously dangerous task. Only the Lord could grant them the fortune to see it through.

"We should split up. Else we will not achieve everything here. You open the gates and light the signal and I will find the children and spook the horses. The timing needs to be close enough to occupy the sinners until the posse arrives." She whispered to Horatio. "Once the shooting starts, I will remain near the children. You will have to ensure one sinner survives to be questioned."

She would have volunteered for the gates, where she felt the greatest risk would be, but someone had to keep the children calm and together during the fighting. Anna knew she far from a mothering figure, but she still was equally far from the image of any cruel man, especially to a children's eyes. A woman Dog had taught her that when she was still in training, and Anna could only hope that these children would listen to her swiftly.

Peering through the hole in the fort's wall, Anna tried to make out any buildings where they could be keeping the children or other guards lurking in the darkness, Everything could go wrong with just one shout. It would only be by the grace of the Lord that everything wouldn't come crashing down around them. Anna let herself grin in excitement, only for a moment. It may have been a selfish thought, but she was all too eager to see justice delivered here and now.
