Adelaide glanced down at the clipboard in her hand and read over the name, Christopher Campbell before opening the door, finding the patient in clear distress as he stared over at her. She closed the door behind her and didn't make any other move, not wanting to scare the boy any more than he clearly already was.
The brunette gave a warm smile and spoke in a calm, gentle voice, "I'm Dr. Carson. I'm not going to hurt you, I just want to talk. Will you talk with me?" she questioned as she continued to stand there in front of the closed door. Adelaide wasn't going to move any closer until she was able to be sure he was a bit more calm.
From experience she knew she shouldn't make any quick, sudden movements or get too close too quickly to someone going through as much paranoia and distress as he was.
