The next person to be called out was the man she had taken note of earlier. Perking up slightly, she watched his every move closely. He seemed rather cocky, not taking his chance to win right away, instead provoking his opponent with a kick to the rear. Only to break his weapon when the bandit attacked him again. He was skilled, an idiot could see that plain as day.
Finally, Rina was called out to fight. Her opponent, a burly man almost triple her size. From his appearance and lack of a weapon, she determined that it was more than likely he would try to win by sheer brute force. A mistake on his behalf.
When the whistle sounded, Rina didn't move a muscle. She had positioned herself in the perfect spot when she had stepped out. Back against the wall, a lackadaisical expression painted on her face. Though this confused her opponent at first, he soon realized she was mocking him. Lunging at her, she stood her ground until the last possible moment. Crouching down, Rina waited until the man was just a foot in front of her, before launching herself into the air and soaring directly over his head. Allowing the man to run himself right into the wall. Shaking that off the man made a dash for her again, to which she reacted by repeating her previous actions, but this time landing square atop his shoulders as if he were giving her a piggy back ride. Allowing him a few moments to attempt to shake her off, mostly for show though it was rather amusing to watch him squirm, to no avail. Bringing her elbow down hard onto the nape of his neck, the man paused for a moment. After a moment of being still as a statue, his knees buckled and he fell to the ground, Rina letting go of him and landing in a much more graceful manner.
After receiving a nod of approval from the general, she returned to her spot. Arms crossed and a cocky grin across her lips. That was easy as pie, if the rest of the tournament went anything like this, she'd win the money for sure.
