She was walking at a slow pace in the middle of campus and far more concerned with the Clash of Clans battle occurring on her mobile device then watching where she was going. She was the highest base in her clan and prided herself on 3-staring everything, so Jesus himself could have returned to Earth right in front of her and she would have told him to hold on a second.
It was a Christmas miracle that the slender cheerleader didn't run into anyone as she jammed her finger into her screen repetitively, and as the battle winded down she'd go from a slow walk to a dead stop.
Thirty seconds or so of silence was quickly followed by a loud roar of disapproval. "Attack the air defense, not the damn army base!!"
Anyone else would've been happy with 2 stars & 97% damage, but not Kitty, she was annoyed and didn't care who heard. She'd eventually look up from her phone though and start walking towards the dorms, but only after throwing her phone inside her over-the-shoulder Hello Kitty bag, which happened to match her Hello Kitty dress and white 4-inch platform flip-flops.
This was Kitty's third year here but it was her first year with a new roommate. The girl she had roomed with in room 200 for the past two years was caught up in a sex scandal with a professor and was abruptly removed from the campus halfway through her sophomore year. So while Kitty is usually good with meeting new people it was going to be an adjustment, seeing as how after she lost her last roommate she finished the school year without one and became quite used to rooming alone.
"Gosh I'm hungry. she'd mumble to herself as if she hadn't eaten in hours, when in reality Kitty is just the type of person who's never full and always hungry.
She decided to eat her breakfast at the far end of the fountain this morning since it was completely empty and she happened to love sitting by the water.
It wasn't long before others began to show up but Kitty was so into her food and the YouTube gaming vlog she was watching on her phone that she was oblivious to the small crowd growing on the other side of the fountain. She likely would have stayed oblivious until it was time to get up if she hadn't heard a squeal that would cause her to look up from her phone and peek around to the other side of the fountain. After seeing Jakob and Chloe hugging she realized it was just a friendly reunion and smiled softly to herself before taking another bite out of her sub.
