On her way to her first class, Qi stopped by the Shinigami board. They really assign a lot of these, Qi thought. Her's and Skyler's names were next to one that said "Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde, from England with the crimes of vandalism and murder". Weird that there were two people for this one, normally it's just one person. Her mind was running through all the possibilities as to why there would be two people that they were assigned.

Qi walked to her Soul Studies class always early, huge crowds still made her nervous and arriving early when the classroom was empty seemed to help a little bit, get her prepared so to speak. Plus, her meister was usually early as well, so she got to talk to either, or both, Skyler and Skylar before the class came in. After a year of being his weapon, Qi, though she would never admit it, had gotten quite used to him. Used to Skyler and Skylar changing quickly and without a whole lot of warning. Used to him eating as much as she did and having an empty fridge most of the time. Used to Skyler worrying about her and about Skylar more pushing her into helping herself. Used to having to carry either Skyler or Skylar after a battle. The latter she found out after the first couple quests they were sent on, that he got tired out really easily after fighting and it somehow became her job to carry him home.

Sky, the name she usually called her meister before figuring out who she was talking to, walked in just as she was sitting down.

"We've got a new quest," she said to him, not making any effort to make her voice louder as they were the only two in the classroom, "Two guys name Jekyll and Hyde," then adding internally, Hopefully we can actually complete this one, the teachers seems to be acting weird after not getting the last two.
