Skyler too a glace from his hand to Qi to see her crack a small smile at his attempt of a small joke. He knew Qi was trying to open up more and that’s more of a reason for him to not push her to much to try but wait to she ready. Skylar on the other hand, thinks it would be better to lay each others secrets flat out on the table and work each others way around it. But I guess that’s why people say Skylar’s not really a lady’s man. Skyler then went back to looking at his hand as he was wondering if he should tell Qi about his hand or just get up and go to the infirmary to check if the nurse is there. He was soon pulled out of his thoughts when Qi replied to his Question.
"I mean technically I guess we are three person team, but I think they wouldn't assign us something if they didn't think we could do it,"
Skyler nodded his head as he figured Qi was right. ‘Would the DWMA really assign a mission to a student that wouldn’t be able to come back alive?’ Skyler wondered in thought when another voice in his head spoke. ‘ I’m sure lord death would assign them to one. Face it! The school is teaching and training us to fight kishine. We have to be ready for anything.’ Skylar declares as his voice goes silent once again. Skyler takes another glace at Qi to see her reaction since he knows as long as Sky and Qi were in a certain range or in the same room she could hear who ever was talking as a thought through their soul wave length. But then that when other students started to enter the class.
Skyler was familiar with at least with every student face in his class but he didn’t find any other student ‘fun.’ Or so how he puts its. But that’s not to one certain girl walks in. Skyler sighed knowing that Skylar had a interest in this girl and the other reason was cause she was a meister like them and Skylar is sure she would be a good sparing partner. Sometimes Skyler wonders if fighting was the only think Skylar really liked. Skyler train of thought was then caught by another girl walking in. This one made Skyler a little uneasy. Just for the fact that she was oddly almost similar to Skyler. Skyler watched these two girls trying not to bring attention to him self as he wondered where the two girls partner was until the bell rang. Skyler just shrugged it off as he looked back at his covered hand thinking how to deal with it.
"Hey Skyler, Did Skylar get in a fight this morning? Think I need to help after class?"
Skyler tensed a little as he glanced back at Qi. “Was I that obvious?” Skyler whispers back. He chuckles a little as he grabs his right sleeve and pulls it down. Skyler grits his teeth as the fabric slide across cuts on his knuckles. Once the sleeve was pulled back sky’s busted hand was covering in some what dried blood and skin was torn a little. Skyler grins a little as he looks at Qi. “Looks worse then it is.“ He says before pulling the sleeve back over his hand to cover the wound.
