Freya observed the scene with intrigue, Servius' childish outburst seemed to fill the room with tension and discomfort. She noticed Y'nev's eyes glower as reach for her weapon, but at the last minute she seemed to think better of it. "A smart move, that could have ended badly", she thought.

As tempers began to simmer, she thought it best to discuss the matter at hand. She cleared her throat and spoke, "If Seven is quite finished, with his dramatics perhaps we should disc-" she was cut short by a disturbance in the room, she felt an uncomfortable chill creep down her neck and a feeling similar to when you miss a step in the dark. Of course she'd heard their name, in Cups it was impossible not to, the Fool permeated every aspect of daily life. She'd seen the celebrations each Summer, visited the Grand Temple on school trips and seen their image etched on all manner of things. But Freya could not consider herself a believer, luck and ignorant happiness seemed like such fickle values to her, when she'd spent so long crafting how she was perceived by others and facing the gruelling climb to the top of the social elite. She simply didn't have time for frivolity.

She assessed how to handle this, it was useless to mask her feelings or engage in false pleasantries against such a being, yet she didn't want to allow the Fool's presence to distract from the pressing issue in front of them. She looked to the Page for guidance, who's greeting seemed tactful but delivered with obvious discomfort. Honesty seemed to be the best route.

"Fool, I did not expect to see you, it is a surprise to meet you." She chose to guide her eyes to the wall behind them, rather than the Fool themselves, it seemed safer somehow.

Freya backed up closer to Y'nev and squeezed her arm as a friendly gesture. She wasn't sure whether it was to reassure the Page or herself but she hoped it would calm one of them at least. She envied the warrior's courage right now, as the only armor Freya possessed was her courtesy. All she knew that was right now she needed an ally in this room, and the Page seemed like the most viable candidate.
