Qi hardly paid attention as Skyler argued with Skylar, having been his partner for so long she was used to these kind of arguments and typically figured it was best if she let the two hash it out by themselves. She took a long drag and was in the middle of inhaling the smoke from her cigarette when she heard the words "...her on a date!" She nearly started choking on the smoke, but some how managed to let it out of her lungs smoothly enough.

"What did you just say?" she asked, having missed most of the conversation, the 'she' really could have been anyone, but by the reaction she got from Skyler made her wonder if it was her.

"Is 'she' m-" Qi began, her cigarette in her hand, the ash building on the tip, but going unnoticed. Only she never got to finish her question as about four guys came up behind her.

"Hey Sky!" one of them called,"We have some unfinished business to attend to!"

"Friends of yours?" Qi asked, not looking back at them. She could only guess that these were some of the many bullies that picked on her meister. She inhaled a slow drag from her cigarette, exhaling as she turned around.

"Listen guys, we were kind of in the middle of our conversation, think you can fuck off instead?" though her tone seemed to be intending for them to get even angrier, her eyes remained emotionless like a glass reflection.

"Don't think your weapon can intimidate us this time either!" Another one from the back piped up. They all nodded in agreement.

"Looks like we'll have to talk about it later," Qi said to Skyler. She let her cigarette drop to the ground, crushing it with her foot. She began to stretch, loosening up her spine and joints, finally holding out her hand to her meister. "People just don't know how to take a hint, do they?" She could see the others had already turned into a weapon and were ready to fight. As Sky took a grip of her hand, Qi then transformed as well.
