Out from a clearing, Roland popped his head from behind a tree, and her smile widened but it faded some when he called the name of his friend. She backed away to give the friends their reunion.
Once they were finished, she smiled bashfully. "Thank you." She said and when he looked at her oddly, she giggled, her laughs like the ring of soft bells. "I asked you not to die, and you did not. Thank you." She said, approaching him. "You are unharmed." She said as she circled him, looking for injuries, there was blood on him, red and silver, but it wasn't from his blade, and nor was it his blood.
