As much as he wanted to slam it on the desk, Genji produced the covered souvenir in his hand slowly from his bag and set it down on his desk, slowly unwrapping it.
"Just another of my newest antique, non-functional weapons."
He raised the battered and old pistol in his hand, chuckling lowly.
"Ah, don't worry. This isn't functional in the least. If it even tries firing a bullet, it'll probably blow up."
He shrugged, staring at it for a bit before putting it down.
"I'm sending it to Aika, though. She's probably lost several years thanks to all this stuff I have her take home...You'd be surprised what things you can find in abandoned places! I found old naginata blades in old shrines, and on that one airplane I found I even saw an entire art set. This pistol was actually found on the same abandoned airplane! The wonders of taking shortcuts..."
"She is now."
"Good timing Hirabayashi!"
Kujo led her away, speaking in a low whisper.
"You're into the culinary arts right? Could you do me a lil favor?"
While the two were away, Kanade stretched and groaned.
"Considering all my plans are fucked...fuck it, I'm going to the Lounge."
"Hey, Kanade?"
"What?"
"Can I tag?"
"Only if you promise not to bite me if you get drunk. Which I sincerely hope you don't."
"Sheesh, you have no faith in me?"
"Don't say that! You know I love you, cuz!"
"Heh! I don't have the money, Kanade."
Laughing, the two proceeded. Nagisa waved a bit at Cel before they were out the door and down the streets.
