Nico watched as Casey squirmed at every question and gaze that came his way. What was he so nervous about? As pissed ad Nico was to somehow be confined by the halls of a school during the Summer time, he fully intended to slack off as much as possibly and use his notoriety as a Russo and also the kid who flooded the school freshman year to to have a few laughs and meet some new people. He intended for his stay at Wiztech to fly by, to him it was free room and board away from home. Besides, when they rectified the whole situation there'd be no reason to stay a day longer if they didn't want to step foot in Wiztech's halls ever again.
Just as Sophie got hauled away a girl sporting a messy ponytail and a burgundy sweater sauntered over from where she stood propped against a wall across the hallway, picking out pieces of their conversation as she casually feasted on her microwave bag of popcorn. Nico raised a brow as he sussed her out. Casey seemed put off by how much she'd over heard and her interest in them, but Nico was intrigued and the fact that she looked slightly familiar only made the mystery more appealing to him.
The boy quickly searched his brain for any clues of where he might know her from, he couldn't settle on any particular moment but he settled on the idea that he most probably met her in the short lived month or so that he attended the school in his freshman year.
The girl chewed away at her popcorn as if they were a blockbuster film and offered to give them a tour around the school. In any other circumstances he would say no, he wasn't a school spirit type of guy, but Wiztech was a sprawling campus and it'd been a few years since he'd seen it last. And, it would take a while for their luggage, that he assumed was on its way to be checked out in the mail room before they could claim a room as their own.
"I guess it couldn't hurt, lead the way mystery girl. I'm Nicolas, you can call me Nick, this nervous wreck is Casey, and you are?"
"Lydia Lee, you'll get to know her whether you like it or no, she's very popular." Val joked playfully as she gave the girl a curt smile and a nod. She knew her a bit, but never really had much of a conversation with her in the past, but everyone on campus knew Lydia, she was a social titan. She wondered if she was regarded so fondly because of her charm or her power to grant wishes... maybe a mix of both. "She's part wizard and part mermaid, which means you better get in her good graces because she can grant wishes." This time Val directed her speech to Casey who seemed a bot overwhelmed by being here.
