Alex's eyes shifted slightly as she saw Mason had emerged from the shadows and placed his hands on both the dogs flanks. They growled and spat at first, but soon their attitude changed. Mason had them under his control in seconds. Alex took a steady step back. For a moment he stared at her, giving Alex the time to open her hands, palms facing towards the sky as she formed a ball of electrical energy between them, ready to defend herself.
"Sic' her boys," he ordered. The ground shook as they charged toward her at full speed, and with every second they got closer, Alex feared the worst. She managed to throw the ball of electricity at one of them, sending the beast flying before it crashed to the ground. It whimpered before it ran off in the other direction, but before Alex could defend herself from the other, it managed to overpower her, sinking its canine teeth into her right shoulder and biting down as hard as it could. Alex let out a scream of agony which no doubt echoed through the trees and given up her position to any other team members left in the game. It felt like her shoulder was being crushed in a vice. Every time she moved, the beast bit harder, causing her to shout out again.
Eventually, Alex managed to punch the beast in the face repeatedly until it let go, then scampered off into the bushes. Alex collapsed against one of the trees, trying to catch her breath. She dared to take a look at the damage. Taking a hold of the fabric, she lifted it up away from her skin which was mutilated, and her clothes soaked in blood. She winced in agony, gritting her teeth as she tried to bare the pain that surged down her arm. It burned like fire. Alex looked up to the sky as she held her hand over her shoulder.

Ajax felt Trinity's hand grab his shoulder, but looked beyond him.
“You okay, you seem kind of out of it?” She asked him, her voice low. Ajax looked down before he nodded without a word. He then looked up as she wandered away to get stuck into the game. He watched her for a moment and swallowed before Sylas came over. Ajax glared at him from the corner of his eyes. He didn't trust him. When Sylas touched him and Duke, he looked at Sylas's hand before looking up at him with the same warning glare, but soon looked towards the forest. He recognized the screams.
"AL!" he called out to her before breaking out into a run, heading in the direction he heard her voice. At this point, he didn't give a damn who won capture the flag. He pushed violently through the bushes and saw Alex wounded. He quickly ran over to her and crouched down, instantly taking a look at the wound.
"What the hell happened?" Ajax looked over his shoulder since Alex was looking past him at Mason who had the balls not to run. Ajax stood up, anger rippling through him like an approaching storm.
"You son-of-a-bitch!" he said through almost gritted teeth and marched towards Mason. Once close enough to him, Ajax shoved his hands hard into Mason's chest.
"Don't you, EVER, hurt her again. I swear... I will rip your damn head off!" surely the entire camp could hear him, and with being so full of rage, he had forgotten he was lacking the powers. If anything, at this point, it was Mason who would rip his head off.
