Nyleria had just been in the kitchen, baking some cookies, when she heard a knock at the door. She set down the bowl of cookie dough and walked over to the door, opening it and smiling as she saw Quentin on the other side. He'd been rather distant for the last little while and she wasn't sure why; she'd decided to just assume it had something to do with his job, but she didn't know for sure. "Hi! Come in," she said softly, opening the door wider and stepping aside so he could come in. "I was just about to put some cookies in the oven. And Mayelle's not here, she's out with her friends," she said softly.
