"You are magnificent looking. I have so many questions to ask you." Atreyu spoke, making Lyra giggle.
"I didn't expect you to be okay with the fact that I'm not human, it's not like I could have told you." Lyra told him honestly in a whisper.
"Not to sound rude, by why are you holding that little girl, she was attempting to harm you further. Do you know her?"
Lyra gave him a questioning look, before nodding. "She didn't mean to cause more harm. She knew the bullet was hurting me and wanted to help. She can't talk yet so she couldn't ask for help, but yes she's my daughter i guess you could say." She shrugged trying to figure out how to explain what exactly she was.
Lyra looked back down at Freya, she slept with her head on one of Lyra's knees, her horns were digging into Lyra's leg but she didn't care. Her little wings were folded inwards and her tail was curled up as well. When Atreyu came back from refreshing himself he had a bunch of questions for her, so many that Lyra had to take a moment to herself before she answered.
"Her name is Freya, she is my clone. On the planet I was born, once a child turned eight-teen they were given a child of their DNA to raise. If I am to die before Freya turns eight-teen my soul will be transferred to her body, her soul will be transferred to well a baby. Don't worry though, if this does happen, her body will grow to my age." Lyra took a breath before she continued, she started to untangle Freya's hair with her fingers."I believe this is Hellsing, another planet. I don't know too much about it, so no I don't know if there's hostile creatures around. I don't sense anything harmful around. If I need shelter built, I am capable of building shelter myself. I don't want the plant life to eat you. I feel fine, thank you for taking care of me. Freya isn't hurt, but we can't stay here. This food in the bag is edible. Freya has a nose for sniffing out posionious and toxic foods, so eat what you can. I don't know when we will get more food. I don't mind your questions, I know this is life changing."
Lyra cleaned the lose hair strains from her fingers and watched Atreyu as he scooted close to her. He grabbed her hands, his hands were warm and rough to the touch."I'm sorry for everything you had to endure while you were held captive on Earth, many times I wanted to blow open your doors and let you free. But I knew that would only cause you both even more pain, if that's even possible. In many ways I feel responsible for you being trapped and separated from this beautiful young girl for the past eighteen months. Humans are stupid and petty creatures. All they do is destroy everything, all they want is everything. It's a vicious circle. What I'm trying to say is that I know you don't trust humans, but I swear on my life that no harm will come to either will I am still sucking air."
Lyra smiled at Atretyu's speech, she leaned forward to give him a quick kiss before he got up to do something. "I was held captive for twenty of your human years, it wasn't your fault. You didn't put me in there, and it was my fault for getting caught in the first place." She sighed, as she decided to tell him everything."You had said once, back on earth, that you were really excited to get this job. I just want you to know they were setting you up for failure. You were my 100th guard, I knew they were planning something big. Then I realized that they couldn't get the tomb doors to open, that's probably why they bombed the whole site. They tried to kill you, which is why i was wounded. The fact that i went back for you in the first place should prove you are the rare expectation to my trust."
Lyra carefully set Freya on the ground so she could stretch out her legs, both her knees popped when she stretched them out."Please don't try to be the hero here. You are our weakest link because you are human. Your eye candy. We need to keep portal hopping until we find a planet we can settle down on and call home." Lyra looked up at Atreyu, "Or if you want I can take you back to earth where the government wants you dead." Lyra said laughing at her dark joke.
