"I feel so bad for getting a bit aggressive with Freya. Honestly, I was scared and was fearing for your life." Atreyu stated sheepishly. Still trying to take in this whole new world, it was quite overwhelming, yet breath taking at the same time.
"BANG!!!" could be heard for miles echoing of every big rock or giant tree. Atreyu pulled the trigger of his Remington 700."I know you think I'm a weak link because I'm human, but I think my hunting and sniper skills could come in handy around here. Till we get to shelter I will let you take the lead Lyra and I will keep an eye on Freya." Atreyu vocalized as he walked over and picked up what looked like a over sized raven. I think I may have found us dinner."I'm never going back to Earth, not until we can figure out what's going on. I can't make any promises about not being a hero, I swore an oath to protect and watch over you and Freya." Atreyu expressed with a huge smile and rosy cheeks, not being able to get over the fact that he was called "eye candy." Upon returning to the "campsite," Atreyu began getting loose sticks and dried leaves together to make a fire, but before he could kick start this fire he had to pluck this bird like creature. Atreyu rushed to get everything done before it got any darker."Since, you call me eye candy Lyra, I wonder if the other creatures around here, think I'm eye candy worthy." Atreyu chuckled as he lit the smallish camp fire. He then placed the naked dead bird over the open flames to cook."Bring Little Freya closer to the fire, so she doesn't get cold, go ahead and rest her head on my pack." He whispered as he took off his jacket and laid it over sleeping Freya.
After what seemed like an eternity the bird was finally done with it's"tanning session" and fully ready to be tasted. Pulling out his knife Atreyu proceeded to cut off a chunk of steaming, perfectly cooked flesh. As he was about to take a bite, Freya jumped up from his resting place and with all her might she slapped the meat out of Atryeu's hand and gave him the meanest look. Lyra laughed so hard that she fell over grabbing her sides."Freya, my dear, you do know that you missed his face." she barely managed to get out on the account that she was still laughing so hard."Freya, sweety I was gonna take my chances with that bird looking thing, I'm so hungry. Is there any edible meat on this planet?" Atreyu said over his loud stomach growls. Freya got up from his spot by the fire walked over to the bag and grabbed out a few of the fruits out at brought them over, for everyone to eat.
After everyone had eaten their fill, Atreyu walked away to find a tree line to relieve himself. The whole time he was talking to himself out loud."Osiris, please watch over us and protect us from anything that would do us harm. Please, please let anything jump and bite my family jewels." Atreyu exclaimed very nervously as he looked around, while trying to avoiding soaking his boots.
