"Alright, folks. Let's go!" Volare's voice echoed louder than usual, not only to rally his buddies but also to bolster his own courage. Though fear and worry gnawed at him, he realized that confronting it head-on was the only way to overcome it. And he wasn't alone anymore. Eques stood faithfully by his side, and he now had new friends who shared the same purpose.
"I will overcome my fears," he whispered to himself, determined. "And I can protect my friends." With a deep breath, Volare forged ahead, stepping into the crowd, ready to face whatever awaited him, including the lifeless body that lay ahead.
