After recovering from the startling series of events. Including Sylph's arrow narrowly missing his head Orion looks around somewhat confused. After regaining his control on his sense of events he listens to Severyn's comment on women and chuckles to himself. He says to her, "that's right and just the way it should be. Amongst the men of my homeland a woman is considered perfect if she is as pale as the ice that blankets the land in winter, as distant and beautiful as the stary sky, and as deadly as a winter storm."

He walks over to Sylph after her conversation with Severyn and places his hand gently on her shoulder to gain her attention. He says to her, "Lady Sylph, I find myself in an unusual position. And I know this will sound odd, but bear with me. I would like to thank you for almost killing me. I know most people would be angry, but I am not. You see you have aloud me to remember a very precious memory. So, thank you for letting me see the woman I loved again in something other than my nightmares."

Looking over at the strange boy who has surrendered to the group he says, "She is right you know we won't hurt you. Although I can't promise we are all good people. And yes I know this sounds odd, but I don't know how you define the word good, and therefore cannot tell you we are good."
