I blink some, then only nod. The guilt that wracks me is so strong, and I wonder why hes pretending everything is normal. I know he is a vampire, and he knows Im a werewolf. I see him trying not to recoil from my smell, and I dont hold it in, wrinkling my nose slightly. I sigh softly, nodding some. Im not sure if hes telling the truth, Ive heard rumors some vampires have special abilities.

"Thanks." I force a smile to him, trying to guage his reactions. I feel stupid standing here and acting like were both humans when we both know otherwise. "I found it in the woods." I speak truthfully finally, biting my lip softly.
