"Thank you Abby. Carson will really appreciate having it back," I say sincerely and stand. I subtly glance around then smile gently to the young werewolf. "I guess I'll see you later." It's not that I'm trying to be rude or anything, it's just that really want to get back to Carson, because if Abby knew about her being in the hospital, then the other one probably does too. That wouldn't be a very good thing. She'd be more vulnerable there than she was the other night. The thought makes me longen my stride and quicken my steps.
