Alexi was surprised by the apparent lack of survivors on the ship. When he reaches the brig of the ship he finds it covered in the bodies of the fall LC crew members. He sits down and at a computer terminal and begins to work. After a short period of time the main monitor comes on, and one of his men calls out to him. Turning around he looks at the monitor and is shocked at what he sees. To his men he says, "quick go find that UCS lieutenant he will want to see this."

The great mind decided it would test these new and aggressive creatures. It decided to send forth the least of its warriors. These creatures look like four legged insects with shiny black exteriors (which appears to be some type of metal). Underneath their bodies which stand 3/4 of a mans height is an object that emits an acid like substance. Their heads have ten glowing red eyes and sharp mandibles around a small mouth-like opening.
