Desi could see how uncomfortable he was so she smiled back at him "I'm Desi." She paused then continued "I'm sorry I'm not really good at this...whole making friends thing" She grinned self consiously "Um, you want to sit down or go for a walk or something? I need to get my mind off..a few things." There was no way she would tell him that she was vampire who refused to drink blood. Sure she was close to starving but she hadn't asked for this life. So she waited for his answer while looking around at the empty streets. It really was nice out here and the peacefullness of it seemed to sink into her soul and sooth the hungry beast within.
