Alyssa punched a hologram in the face vindictively. It fizzed out, the last one. She had to restrain herself from growling as the doors finally opened. Outside, she saw Knightmare. Barely keeping her temper under check, she stormed past him and out into the yard, seeing Logan and Storm inside. Seeing him didn't help, nor did the Danger Room, so she went to a hangout of hers, a secret brush fort. Here she had constructed a cover and had had teachers help her install electricity, albeit a small amount, so she could play her movies on her laptop. She had also dragged a bean bag out to relax in comfort. Plopping down, she put in a new movie - and almost screamed half-way. Not out of fright, but of pure frustration. The main character was such a ninny! Gritting her teeth, she forced herself to watch the movie, but as the credits played Alyssa made herself stand.

That motion caused her withheld anger to boil up and, furious at everything, her claws came out, first time for several months. Growling low, she spun and hacked at the surrounding trees, leaving marks on some and just downright felling them. She continued like this for several minutes, wreaking havoc, but deep enough in the forest for no one to notice. Finally, her temper flared out and she stopped, barely panting. It was rather funny, actually. Now she had to clean up this mess.

Sighing, she scooped up several handfuls of firewood-size sticks and incinerated the rest with her ions. Look, Ma, no fire.
