His mind was at ease momentarily. The girl, now know to him as Elise, took his hand. The warmth of her blood coursing through her veins sparked an urge to kiss her hand, but she quickly removed it before he could make an advance. The gesture forced his feral instincts to quell, and Vincent began to trail close behind her. Not because he was watching her or anything, but more so because he had no idea where the cafeteria was and hoped she knew.

As they walked, Vincent took the time to carefully analyze his surroundings. He would be here for awhile, so he figured it would be best to identify all the classrooms and places to skip class. Academically he was talented, but some classes deserved to be skipped. Like history, and math. The only class Vincent looked forward to was this "elemental training". Vincent already had some skill with his element of ice, but it was no mastered thing.
