It was their turn at the gate. Katrina sunk a little in the back seat as they pulled up in front. She watched quietly as Jasen stuck his arm at the open window, flashing an ID to the guard. Turns out she was worried for nothing though, for all the guard did was smile sheepishly and hit the open button that swung the gate up, letting them enter the main community center. Her eyes peeled wide as she took in everything around her. She was amazed at the inner structure of the dome. Jasen pulled down a cut off ramp that cars were to go around in and park. Once finally at their stopping destination, Kat unbuckled her belt and took a deep breath in. Calm down, Kat... this is home now, she thought to herself. Her door swung open, Kat landing on her two feet, her shiny titanium boots clicking against the ground. Everything was so massive and modern, the circular shape of the area completely different than what she lived in at her lab in Germany.

From the ground to ceiling, it stretched 60 feet up at it’s highest point of the dome. The bottom floor that she currently was in was alone 20 feet tall; the other two floors also 20 ft.

-Room of Trade-
That was what the sign read, and the title explained it all. There were shops spread around the sides, as well as food stations, classrooms, and repair shops. In the massive open center were tables, couches, and chairs that seemed to be used as a meeting area, where everyone gathered to socialize. Katrina looked around for the beds, or anything that gave sign of people’s own space. Not seeing anything worried her slightly. Yet, soon she would find out that on the second floor there was the housing stations. Each person was assigned their own number to where they would find their cubby in the wall. (Page one of OOC has image of what the rooms look like, as well more info on the floors and currency.) For now Katrina just stood still, eyes resting on the people walking to and from, on those congressing in the center. Everyone looked like perfect human beings, but of course, they were not. They had a malformed gene that she bore as well. What were their powers? If anything was reassuring at the moment, it was that at least they seemed to be getting along. In the middle, people were laughing, maybe at a joke one of them told. A sigh escaped her lips, attention then moving to Jasen who was now out of the vehicle.

“So this is it, huh?” she asked, trying to sound relaxed though the stress she really felt.

Ace walked over to his truck, opening the door and setting the small box down in the passenger seat carefully. Once safely inside, he visualized himself and the box, no longer being invisible. Another successful steal complete, like usual. He continued to watch what was unfolding across the way now that his mission was about over. It was an entertaining show, and was worth watching.

“Ohhh,” he laughed, his eyes wincing as he watched Leon use his stun gun on the new girl, the electricity moving from the girl to Crip, effecting both of them. Of course the trigger happy soldier would shoot the innocent girl. Since when has the method of a rescue involved harming the victim before the criminal? Not that it mattered much to Ace. In fact, he also got a kick out of watching the amusing things Leon and his crew would do, like a comedic action show. If it was their prerogative to shoot her down, so be it! Yet as soon as the action seemed to finally be getting interesting, Crip teleported away. “Aw, man,” he mumbled, dropping his shoulders. “Poor Leon didn’t catch his bad guy,” he then added smoothly, rolling down the window of his truck.

“Davis, I’m out. Boss wants that metal in your car by this evening,” he then gave his last order to his main man, then rolled the window back up. His truck started up with a rumble, engine reving loudly to make his exit known. He lit up a cigarette, and turned the music up on his radio as he took off back down the tunnel highway. The package in his passenger seat rested comfortably on the cushion. Inside the package was what Ace had only heard rumors about... the smallest solar battery ever built. It ticked like a clock, each second refueling battery power as light from the sun entered. His boss had been waiting years for Earth to send one, and it finally came. Sadly they only sent one, but one was better than none. Ace as instructed to return it ASAP, so that was what he was doing.
