Eve looked down at their hands, blushing. "Yeah... I guess you're right..." She murmured. "I should... decide for myself, then..." Her eyes darted up to look at him and she blushed bright red. I can't believe that I'm going to do this... With a deep breath, trying to gain her courage, she quickly leaned forward and kissed him on the lips, closing her eyes, tightly, afraid of his reaction. Would he push her away? Would he be disgusted? I decided... that I love him. I can do that, right? I... Maybe HE didn't want this... I'm so stupid! Her mind was in chaos, but the kiss made her heart leap, and she knew that she had fallen in love... maybe even more than she had been in love with Kaine.

Kaine looked at her as she told him it was better to tell someone about it, but he just buried his face in his arms. "I guess..." He murmured. When she agreed not to lose it, he just nodded, but him laying his head on the table seemed to make her worry. "No," He replied. "I'm fine. Just thinking about things." He sighed and looked up at her. "It... probably WOULD help to talk to somebody, and you DID tell me about something that's hard for you... And I WANT to tell you... but I'm afraid that I'm going to break down if I do, and I can't have that at school."
