"Shit!" Rose jumped a bit at the touch on her neck. Whoever it was had really crappy timing. She whirled around to face him as the woman blew a hole in a wall and dragged the boy off. "Damn it, I've got no time for you," she said, looking him once over for a way to distract him. The skateboard. It was so small Rose didn't need to concentrate much to send it flying out from under him, leaving him on his ass. "And if you weren't an Alter there'd be a bullet in your head too, love," she called over her shoulder as she ran after the woman. Aslan could deal with him. If the woman could smash through that wall, there was no telling what she'd do to her hostage.

She saw them through the hole as she climbed over debris and through it after them. The alarm had gone off; time was running out for Rose. She had to rescue him before any cops got there. "Who to believe? A girl in a top hat with a big-ass gun, a hobo, or this seemingly normal woman? Hmmmm..... tough choice." She rolled her eyes to herself as she came upon the two. The boy had finally started struggling a little trying to get his hands over his ears.

"Nice office. Drop him." Rose closed her eyes, and as she raised her gun, ten blown out bricks rose into the air as well. "Now," she added. Her hair began to rise and wave in the air around her as well. It wasn't a cool effect of using her powers, however; she was doing it herself to look more imposing. What could she say? She was a real sucker for the drama, and a little intimidation never hurt, right?
