The festivities could be heard throughout the kingdom. Such daft imbeciles. They would follow a retarded baboon as long as they knew they would get their next meal. Scythe didn't participate in some hollow festivity that made the people feel good. They'd turn on any of them in a instant if if met their needs better. What's the use with socializing with such rabble. Scythe would much rather eliminate them all right now. A merciless slaughter of the world. What better way to keep them in check?

Scythe was on patrol duty. It wasn't assigned, but it was better then celebrating false festivities with the most shallow of beings in existence. Everything would burn one way or another. It always did. All Scythe needed to do was fan the flames, or start them himself. After patrolling for a little bit, he came upon the end of something interesting. It seemed that Sorcha was escaping their imprisonment.

Of course, this would be something he needed to stop, however he had a more interesting plan. Why bother stopping it? This was beginning the flames of chaos. Utter Chaos he could use to destroy it all. He waited until Sorcha was through to enter the room. He looked at her wolf standing there. He began to walk towards the wolf taking the scythe off his back.

"So it was you then that helped her, yes?" He didn't want an answer, after all he didn't speak wolf. "Dogs need to be put in their place." He said as he smacked the wolf across the face with the end of his weapon. Just then he noticed a solider running by. He called out to him, and the soldier came running in.

"I have a message for you to give to King Pendus. Wait for him to begin his speech though. The message must be delivered in the middle of it, understand me?" The solider just nodded. Scythe wasn't one to be trifled with and he knew it. Everyone did. "Good. Tell the king that Sorcha has escaped. I'm going to lock up her puppy and then pursue her. Now remember my instructions and piss off."

Broome Australia, Thanks for the Memories Pub

A young man about the age of 19 entered the pub. This was his first time he ever went drinking alone. He was a bit nervous since he'd never been there before, but he just went through a nasty breakup and he wanted the pain to go away. He walked in and sat down at the bar. He sighed and ordered a few shot of Whiskey. After pouring three of them the bartender looked at the boy. The bartender was an older man, in his early to mid thirties. He was now drying out a cup that was just watched.

"Something wrong son? You seem a bit down on your luck." The boy just sighed and put his hands on the sides of his head. He began explaining his situation and tried to avoid crying. After that, the boy picked up one shot after another and drank em down one by one. He put his arms down and buried his face into them so no one would see him cry.

Suddenly one of the shot glasses went flying to the floor. The boy looked up as the whole pub turned to him. Everything was silent. The bartender looked at him. The boy looked panicky and stood up. "You know boy we have something we do to people who break stuff around here." He made a head gesture and a few people came over to the boy. The grabbed him, dragged him to a chair and tied him up to hit.

The boy was crying his eyes out and apologizing left and right. The bartender walked over and pulled out a gun. He pointed the gun at the boy. "Nothing personal, you know." He raised it between the boy's eyes. Then he pulled the trigger. The only sound came from the bartender. "Boom" he said and the kid screamed. The place lit up with laughter as the boy screamed.

The bartender untied him and helped him up. "Just an initiation kid. Your one of us now so there's no need to be down. The name is Zack, and I own this little establishment with my fiancΓ©e Krystal." He shifted his head around but didn't see her anywhere. "She'll be around here soon enough I'm sure. So boy who may you be?" The boy's heart was beating out of his chest. At least he would be fine though. He nervously answered Jason and then just tried to calm down. It was a rough initiation, but he took it like a man. Quite a few people wet themselves in that situation.
