Cleopatra knew what day it was. To anyone around her in the normal human world of earth they would have no idea but she knew. It was a holiday celebrating King Pendus and his rule over the land of Concordia. She knew that there would be laughter, colour, excitement, and food. There would be no expense spared in the celebration. Cleo knew her father too well. Today was his day and he would make sure it was perfect. She just wished that she could have been there to celebrate. As much as it often appeared that her father didn’t love her, she loved him and it would have been great to be able to spend today with him.

However that wasn’t possible. She was stuck on earth looking after one of the true heir’s to the throne and making sure that he never found out who he was. Cleo didn’t even have her own name. From now on she had been named Krystal and she was stuck in the middle of nowhere in some Australian small town running a pub. It was a long way away from the court life she had been used to but if it allowed her to prove herself to her father then maybe it was worth it. And maybe the feelings she had for her fiancé helped matters.

Krystal was brought from her thoughts as she heard laughter coming from out the front of the pub. She had been out the back moving some of the boxes into the cool room. Curiously she headed out to see her fiancé talking to a man who she had never seen before. With a sigh she walked over to him, guessing what he had been up to.

“Zack, are you scaring off the customers again?” Krystal said with a grin a she wrapped her arms around his waist from behind as she looked at the new guy. “Hey, I’m Krystal... just ignore anything he says, he likes to think he is funny” She said teasing Zack with a playful expression before leaning up and kissing the back of his neck before letting go.

“Can I get you a beer? First one is on the house” Krystal said to the new guy before walking back over behind the bar to get the kid a beer. It was the least she could do since she could only imagine the prank that Zack had played on him. Also the kid looked like he could seriously do with a drink.
