-He carries two katanas, one of which has a blade length of 28' inches, which is unusually long for a sword of it's type. The second is quiet a bit shorter, measuring only 23 inches. This one of course is used by his off hand, if you could even say he had one anymore. The hilts of each are made of bone, and are notched on the left and right sides respectively. What the notches are used for is his "little secret".
-6 perfectly balanced knives adorn the inside of the left and right sleeves of his leather "duster" style coat. Held by straps sewn in by himself.
He always has 4 chunks of raw steel on his person.
Other then that he travels rather lightly, at a given time you may find that he has trail rations or spices and such for cooking.
At the moment as he is traveling, he has a black war horse. One of the largest stallions from his home land had been sent with him.
Zeph's story-
This tale began when Zeph was but a baby. His mother was a servant of the emperor. She could no more take care of him then she could her self, and as such he was given over to the agency for training. From the time he could walk he was schooled in the art of warfare. While most in his home land are schooled in the art of ranged combat(Fire arms) he was trained in that of a blade. Therefore he shuns the use of guns. He finds them... Impersonal?
His time between classes was spent in study of his alchemic ability. At an early age he had nearly mastered the art of Light alchemy, and was highly adept with metal alchemy. Though he tends not to rely on his ability he uses it frequently.
Just a month ago he was given his first actual mission. The order came directly from the emperors mouth. He was to travel to a city called Belhurst. He was to find a man named Dust, and assist him in the task given. The Emperor said no more. Zeph did not think this to be a viable use of his abilities, but his the emperor did and that is all that mattered.
