Element: Wind

Powers:Standing at merely 5'2, Marion may be small, but her powers can pack a punch. Despite the fact that her powers are still developing, she is able to use the manipulation of wind quite normally, and similarly to other wind elementalists. However, there is one thing that Marion is particularly noted for: speed. She is able to use the wind to propel herself at almost blinding speeds. She can make herself travel so fast, that she can run up trees and buildings if she concentrates hard enough. Despite this, Marion has the ultimate goal of learning how to create cyclones and hurricanes. She keeps practicing, but she always messes up.

Rival Element: Earth
"DOWN WITH EARTH! DOWN DOWN DOWN DOWN DOWN DOWN DOOOOWWWNNN!!! Nah, i'm just kidding. They just need to learn how to chillax, is all...

Weaknesses
Marion may not be the absolute greatest fighter or most powerful elementalist in the academy, but she is getting stronger. Her TRUE weaknesses are more socially than anything else. Because of her carefree attitude, some people view her as reckless and stupid, as well as immature. It's evident that she's not great with anything along the lines of dramatic or serious. Because of this, some people will not trust her with important information. Also, because she has a childlike persona, most people tend to treat her like, well, a child. It can be tough for Marion to constantly show people that she is responsible and mature when her wild nature proves otherwise. Also, there are times when Marion can be easily tricked, as she is slightly gullible.

Strengths
Back in her day, Marion was a famous circus performer by the name of Sonic. It certainly sounds far-fetched, but it's true. With her amazing sense of balance, it's no wonder that Marion was a very talented tightrope walker in her youth. Her talent is very useful, as she is able to walk across thin wires and wooden planks with ease. She was also skilled at the trapeze, and from years of practice, she has accumulated a good amount of strength. It almost confuses people when they see Marion being able to lift someone with much more weight than her own without much effort. Along with strength, Marion's trapeze experiences have given her acrobatic skills as well as increased flexibility.

Also, a little-known fact about Marion is a powerhouse singer. Her voice is very much a heavy-metal/rock kind of voice, which explains why she has a deep love for both genres. Technically, she cheats a little bit, as she is an air elementalist and she can breathe in more air into her diaphagm than the average singer.
Nevertheless, she is quite good. With her abilities to play the ukulele and the piano with equal skill, Marion desperately wants to find musically talented people like her and possibly start a band. Of course, being in a school full of gifted people, it shouldn't be too hard.

Personality
Marion is your typical air elementalist, but with an edgy twist. People gifted with air manipulation tend to very free-spirited, and Marion qualifies in that category extravagantly. The girl is practically the jokester, as well as the class clown of the academy. Her humor is a little bit different than usual, tending to be more goofy, geeky, and lighthearted than sarcastic and sharp. (she does make sarcastic remarks, however, she does so very rarely) She's rebellious and daring and will never refuse a challenge in good fun. She's fascinated by the tiniest of details, and curious about even the least important of things. Through it all, Marion maintains a childlike, naive, and almost innocent aura about her. As she is very outgoing, some call her the sweet, adorable little sister they never had, while others claim that she is the most annoying girl to ever exist. Whatever the populace prefers, she doesn't really mind. She's been shoved into so many lockers in the past that Marion has just learned to accept herself for who she is, whatever she may be.

Despite the first-impressions she makes, Marion isn't as wild, rowdy, and fast-paced as she seems. Although she likes to make jokes about violence and she prefers action movies over any other genre, she is a peacemaker at heart. She has been known to break up fights in the past, putting herself in harms way if need be just to resolve a conflict. She even refuses to fight herself, whether it be verbally of physically. (unless of course its for a class, then she won't be afraid to hit as hard as she possibly can.) Although it can be a bad thing, Marion sees the good in everyone and believes that everyone can change. This can be explained by the spiritual/faithful side of her personality. She readily practices meditation, and has learned to let most of her worries go. Although she may be a fiery class clown, her optimistic, intelligent, spirited, and respectful demeanor has made teachers see that she knows how to contain herself, and she knows when enough is enough. This, in a sense, has made some adults believe that she is wiser than her age, and that she is in touch with something that others aren't. Really, it just shows that Marion knows how to create fun without it becoming too out-of-control.

With so much energy and liveliness, it's easy to miss the dreamy and creative side of Marion. Like every other air elementalist, there is a very imaginative side to Marion. She's extremely crafty, and is constantly making sculptures, origami, and watercolor paintings. She's a professional doodler as well, going as far as drawing silly pictures on the back of her tests right before she hands them in. However, her true passion is writing, and more specifically, screenplay. Marion's dream is to someday work on films, whether she be an actor, editor, writer, or director. Sometimes you can spot her shooting footage of random things around the academy. As well as starting a band, Marion desperately wants to either shoot a movie or a web series with her friends.

History
Marion has never had a normal childhood, ever. Her father was the ringmaster and co-founder of the Castle & March Family Circus, and her mother was a humble performer. The girl was born in Paris on October 31, Halloween while the circus was stationed there. Through her infant and toddler years, Marion happily grew up in the large city of Paris, France, until she was three. It was then that the family decided to travel around the world yet again. Their decision would ultimately begin Marion's life as she knew it.

Everything was good, and the young girl started to get used to being on the road. However, the happy times ended and everything changed on her sixth birthday. On that day, Marion was sitting in a front row seat as the performers of Castle & March did a special Halloween and birthday performance just for her. During her mother's tightrope performance, the cable somehow managed to get loose. The woman fell to her death, as there was no net below her to save her. Although the event obviously was traumatizing and horrific, Marion learned to accept the fate of her mother in time. In fact, her mother's death only motivated her to avenge the inevitable.

At the age of eight, under her father's permission, Marion learned how to tightrope walk herself. At first, her father was hesitant, but eventually gave into the girl's requests. She learned remarkably fast, almost unnaturally did Marion pick up the balancing skills required for walking on the high-wire. She eventually became so good, that she would be able to almost run across the wire as well as perform acrobatic tricks. Her father gave her the nickname Sonic, (after the SEGA character that could run at blinding speeds) and the simple pet name later became her stage name. Soon later, "Sonic the Spectacular" made loads of business for Castle & March, and became an international superstar among circus performers. She later took up the trapeze, and had similar success. She would be able to "dance in the air", as stated by multiple critics. When asked how she was able to do such amazing performances at such a young age, Marion would say that she would simply "become one with the air above".

After many years on the road and performing, both Marion and her father decided that they needed a break. When she was fourteen, the two decided to settle down in Toronto, Canada, as they both favored the place when they traveled. They eventually became citizens, and Mr. March was able to get his working papers and requirements done relatively fast. Marion's new life brought much confusion and new challenges. The most difficult challenge for Marion was high school. She had been home schooled for all of her life, and was not used to the regular public school system. She wasn't a favorite among classmates as well, as she was known as the "circus freak" and was constantly being shoved into lockers. She prayed that the confusion would end, but things only got worse.

One day, Marion was being tormented in the hallways by a group of girls. After she made a witty cohort at one of the girl's comments, the bully reached out to punch her. It was then that Marion held out her hand to defend herself, causing the girl to fly right across the hallway into the vending machine. Marion later found herself in the principal's office with her attacker, and as the girl tried to convince the principal that Marion had shoved her into the vending machine for no apparent reason, the normally calm girl silently grew a temper inside of her. Papers in the office started to violently swirl around, as though there was a miniature cyclone inside the room. The girl retreated, and escaped the school, where she immediately ran home.

After much contemplation, Marion started to put the pieces of her life together, and eventually believed herself to be a wielder of aerokinesis; the manipulation of air and wind. It made sense, and when the girl decided to tell her father of her assumed abilities, he instantly believed her. The two kept it a secret, and one day, her father found a boarding school known as the Academy of Elements where she would be able to develop her powers. With much excitement and relief that she wouldn't have to be attending her crappy old public school anymore, Marion enrolled. And the rest is history....

In an isolated pocket of the English countryside sits Eastern Gradon Academy. Overnight the school has been blanketed in a covering of snow, the first of the winter.
With the coming of the snow also comes the Winter Feast, a traditional feast that the Academy holds for its staff and students the night after the first snow fall. In the last hour notices have been posted around the school to announce the traditional feast.

'Dear Students,

Tonight the traditional Winter Feast will be held in the Dining Hall.
Students are expected to be seated an hour after the last period of the day.
As with past years the seating will be freely arranged.
The dress is formal, suits and formal dresses are expected.

A shot of port will be offered during the traditional toast and mulled wine will be served throughout,
however students are warned that intoxication will not be tolerated.

Looking forward to a wonderful evening,
The Academy Faculty'

The time is 8.30am, half an hour before the start of the school day. As expected some students have been out playing in the snow while others are wrapped up inside or sleeping. A hot breakfast is being served in the dining room. Teachers will be preparing for their classes. Students should also be beginning to ready themselves for their day.

Alanna Ascot

Alanna liked the idea of snow; she liked to watch snowflakes falling quietly to earth, but only from the safety of a warm room. The library was one such room. It was in fact its own separate building and several stories high. Books lined its walls from floor to ceiling and there were many alcoves and partially hidden rooms in its depths. It was the kind of library where one could spend all day and never see another person. During the winter months the fire was constantly stoked and you were always guaranteed warmth. Alanna had been here for some time, reading in one of the many window seats. Snow always made her more irritable and she had woken earlier that morning to see the school sheeted in the stuff. Not being able to return to sleep she had showered, dressed and made her way to the library.

Now, with half an hour until class started she decided that it was time for a warm breakfast. Alanna replaced her book in the shelf and made her way through the large library doors. As she stepped outside the cold immediately hit her and the girl drew her clothes tighter around her. Alanna made her way along covered paths, aiming for the old dining hall. She thrust her hands into her pockets to keep them warm.

She reached the end of the covered walkways. Across a courtyard of undisturbed snow stood the dining hall. Smoke could be seen coming out of the large chimney and the windows were misted, further indicating the warmth that awaited inside. But first Alanna would have to make her way across the courtyard. Pursing her lips she took the first step, her foot sinking ankle deep into the snow. By the time she had made it to the dining hall door her toes were going numb and her irritation had reached new levels, still she hesitated before entering the hall. She had caught sight of the notice pinned to the door.
The only good thing she could say about winter was the annual Winter Feast. The food was always excellent, the decorations were fantastic and the atmosphere was something to look forward to. Not to mention the student after-party. It was just as much a tradition as the Feast, even if not entirely within the Academy's rules. While drinking for over 18s was legal in England, drinking on campus wasn't something that the teachers allowed without supervision. Still, every year the after-party went ahead and every year the majority of the student body attended.

Having finished reading the notice Alanna pushed through the doors and into the warmth of the dining hall. She grabbed a plate, served herself breakfast and then chose a table close to the fire. She sat down with the fire to her back, happy to let the fire warm her.

Lockie Porter

Buzz! Buzz! BUZZ! BUZZ!

The insistent ringing of Lockie's alarm was what woke the young man. His eyes fluttered open as the noise pierced through his dreams. His hand reached out to snooze the alarm only to find the device not on his bedside table. He let his eyes close for a moment. A cool breeze was playing around his room, streaming in through his open window.

In one swift movement the boy collected the breeze to him, using it to fling the blankets off him. His hands gave another twirl and the winds returned, this time he set them on the pile of clothes that littered his floor. It was from this pile that the incessant ringing was coming. With a blast of his collected air Lockie sent the clothes flying around his room, landing across his desk, bed and other portions of his floor. And there sat his alarm cloak. Lockie stood, tapped the alarm with his hand and gave a satisfied smile as the noise finally stopped.

Lockie grabbed his towel and left his room, wondering down the Air elemental's portion of the dormitories. He entered the male bathrooms a moment later, flicking on the lights and a shower as he entered. The water was blissfully warm. He stepped out a good deal later once the water had began to run cold. Lockie was prone to day-dreaming and his mind had wondered, only being brought back to reality by the shock of the cold water.

Back in his room he quickly got dressed in the only clothes that didn't seem to decorate his floor. His stomach rumbled a moment later, indicating that it was time for breakfast. So he left his room and began to make his way down to the dining hall.

Most times the quick trip to the dining hall would take longer than anticipated as Lockie's attention was usually drawn to whatever caught his fancy. Today was no different. Now he stopped short of the hall, watching as a tree branch slowly caved under the pressure of the snow. The day had a moderate amount of wind, enough for him to collect a small ball and send it flying towards the tree. The snow was blown up in a flurry of wind before crunching down onto the tree branch and then onto the ground.

"AAAAAAH!!!"

A hardcore screamo song was blasting out of the laptop in the girl's room. After a long, dreamless sleep, she had easily awoken to the loud music. Her plan had been to wake herself up with something instead of an alarm clock, as she was a blatant offender of pressing the snooze button over and over again. This usually made her late for breakfast, and drowsy throughout her classes. Without hearing the usual buzzing sound that she heard every single day, Marion had immediately jumped out of her cozy bed, and ran to silence the wailing guitars and pounding drums. When everything stopped, she breathed a sigh of relief, and turned on the lights. She crossed her arms, as it was unexpectedly cold in the room. As she looked out the window, she understood why; there was a thick layer of white snow lying across the campus ground. Excited to jump right in, Marion bolted throughout her room, and started to get ready for class.

Marion lazily picked out an outfit while also pulling her short brown hair up into a messy ponytail. She didn't bother to make herself extra presentable. All she wanted to do was cannon-ball right into that white fluffy snow. She quickly grabbed her bag, shoveled in her textbooks and papers, and sprinted right out of her room. As she quickly walked down the corridor, she placed her earphones on her head, lifted her red hood, and started to play some background music on her ipod. Marion didn't typically listen to slow, relaxing songs, but occasionally her choice of music was influenced by the weather outside. Today was one of those days where she wanted to highlight the majestic beauty of the winter snow. If not to anyone else, at least to herself.

Once outside, she spread out her arms, and inhaled the freshness of the winter snow.
"WOOOOOOO!"
Marion screamed as she ran through the layers of frost as quickly as she could. Her small legs sunk easily in the snow, and she was getting wet, but she didn't care. It had been the longest time since she had seen snow. Snow always reminded her of her life back in Toronto, where it was always cold. As she bolted across the courtyard like a lunatic, she couldn't help but feel more alive. Maybe her real element was air, but if she could change her element, she'd easily be a manipulator of ice. As she made a long journey to the dining hall, Marion paused as she came to a large tree with snow creviced between its branches. She blasted a gust of air skywards, and closed her eyes as snowflakes showered down upon her. She looked around, hoping to find someone near her, but she was all alone. She put her hands in her pockets, and as her song came to an end, Marion sauntered her way to the dining hall.

As she neared the door, she detected the notice for the Winter Feast. She smiled as her eyes skimmed over the paper. As a very sociable and outgoing person, Marion always enjoyed parties and gatherings. Even though it was a fancy occasion, Marion was still looking forward to going. Who could turn down free food? Not to mention, she'd probably be drinking alcohol for the first time in her life. Suddenly, as if a lightbulb had flashed on in her head, Marion had a wonderful idea. She grabbed a big chunk of snow, and using her air manipulation, she crafted it into a perfectly smooth sphere. She grabbed the snowball, hid it in her sleeve, and rushed as quickly as she could into the dining hall.

She looked around, deciding who in her head would be the lucky recipient of the cold ball of snow. Her eyes skimmed a few students, and then immediately rested on Mark Tom. He was perfect. Not only did Marion know that he would be able to take the prank lightly, but his shirt was off, making her efforts all the more pleasurable. Plus, he was an ice elementalist. Perhaps he could shake off the snow quickly in front of his girlfriend, Harmony. (Of course, they weren't ACTUALLY in a relationship, but just by his body language, Marion had the feeling that the boy had the hots for Harmony. He was making it quite obvious without a shirt...)

She snickered as she slowly approached behind him. She stopped, looked around, and then without hesitation, she chucked the wet ball of snow right onto his back. With blinding speed, she used a gust of wind to propel herself underneath one of the empty dining tables. As she tightly crouched underneath the dark space, she covered her mouth to prevent herself from laughing too loud and giving herself away. Her eyes widened as she watched Mark's, as well as Harmony's reactions.

Mark was calmly about to speak to Harmony when out of no where a cold sensation hit his back. Jumping up he yelped, not from the cold but from the shock. Wiggling around the ice slid down his back, making a light slush sound when hitting the floor. Spinning around there was no one in sight. "Did you see who did that?" He asked Harmony as he busted out laughing. "Because I'm defiantly going to get them back!" The shock was taken over by thrill. Mark bent over and picked up the left over slush and formed it into a small ball. Holding it up to his eyes he took in a deep breath and concentrated, adding his own ice to the ball to add to it in size. "I only know two people that would do this to me!" He announced louder than he should across the dining hall. "Theia and Marion! So come wherever you hide!" He knew it was one of those two girls, he seemed to end up in their pranks somehow, but he never minded, it was entertaining to him.

Looking around it was clear to him they had been hiding. With his eyes looking down the table he had caught the attention of a fire student giving him a death stare, One or both of the girls surely aren't over there. He thought maybe the girl staring might have seen, but she was in fact not about to ask for her help from fear and he knew she wouldn't tell him. He had known the girl for about two years that was staring him down, she'd wouldn't even give him a bucket of spit.

Walking around the dining hall me began looking under the tables, searching for his suspect. He knew that they had to be hiding where they could see him but he couldn't see them. "Where are you?" He said in a low merry-full voice. Getting on his knees he began crawling, searching the floors of the room. As he crawled he spotted an object that didn't look like floor covered in shadows. "Do I spot myself a snow thrower?" He couldn't tell who it was, but it was someone. Pulling his arm back he threw it, but to his dismay it hit a table leg. "Well then, you've won this battle!" He called as he crawled closer to the person he had failed to hit.

Harmony rolled her eyes playfully at Mark when he mentioned how beautiful she looked today. She muttered her thanks to him as she finished up her food and looked at him. "Maybe you and I could have a snow ball fight later." He had said and she nodded. "Maybe," She responded softly. Her eyes scanned over the length of his body as soon as he began to take off his shirt. A small blush made it's way onto her face and before he knew it he was about to speak when snow slammed against his back and he had jumped up, yelping. She busted out laughing, covering her mouth then he face as she laughed at his reaction. She shook her head at him as her laughing slowed and she lifted her head to watch what he did. "Did you see who did that?" He had asked and she shook her head even though she thought she knew who did it. She though it was Marion, but she wasn't positive that was one of her reasons why she didn't say anything. Smiling as she watched while he searched for who did it and what he did. She giggled, watching him closely until he had thrown the snowball at someone who she didn't really know. Glancing down at her lap she thought about something for a moment, but decided that it probably wasn't a good idea if she started something just because chances are people would get in a lot of trouble for doing it.

She began to mess with her outfit, thinking and debating a few things. She sighed softly, waiting for Mark to return to the table as she imagined her smashing a ball of snow into his face. Suddenly out of randomness everyone's emotions seem to come exploding out at her even though no one else seemed to notice them. A soft gasp escaped her lips as she looked at each other's individual emotions. She shook her head as she tried to shove away being able to see everyone's emotions, but it didn't work. She mumbled something a little angrily before she began to concentrate and then she finally was able to shove being able to see everyone's emotions away. Even if it was just temporary it was a relief. She looked at Mark again, smiling a little as she giggled when watching him. He was so cute. She bit her lip, looking down at her lap where her hand were neatly folded on.

Jaydon Janvier

Jaydon sat watching the students, sipping on his coffee. It wasn't very long at all until a student he was particularly fond of came over to him to speak. She rambled on, something about the snow, but Jaydon's mind was elsewhere. He noticed some extreme behavior taking place, and he was wondering how to stop it. 'Well, see you in class later.' the girl said. "And I you Rachel. Enjoy your first period." he said as she walked away. The second she was a safe distance Jaydon stood up and lowered the temperature of the room "This is not a gymnasium Mr. Tom and Miss March!" He quite suddenly boomed."If you would please return to your seats and behave like the civilized human beings you are, you may be able to survive second period today!" Then, as he was about to sit back down, he added "And Mr. Tom, for whatever reason you have your shirt off, please put it back on. This is not your home, nor a strip club. This is a school. You will treat it as such." He then returned to his seat and his coffee.

It was at this point that Professor Shaw dropped in. Jaydon stood to accept the handshake, mentally allowing the room's temperature to rise again, "Professor Shaw! Good morning to you sir! he said. Then Jaydon saw that Shaw had a companion, who he was holding hands with. Jaydon had seen her face before..... But he couldn't quite place it. And who is your lovely...... associate.... Professor? he asked.

"Yes sir." Mark said quietly as he got off the floor. I knew it was Marion or Theia! He celebrated in his head, knowing he'd get her back later. Mark was a little competitive and he knew he was going to get Marion back later, snow ball fighting was he game and he could win this war she had started. Walking back to Harmony he sat down and put his shirt on. "Do you think I'd make a good stripper?" Mark had asked with a chuckle. Dramatically running his chin and looking into the distances and when his conclusion was reached his eyes slowly returned to looking at Harmony. "I think I would." He said with a small head nodded. Dropping his hand he busted his hand to his side and busted out laughing at himself, he was kind of an idiot. Looking over his shoulder he said in a loud whisper, "Marion, do you want to sit with us?" With that question his attention turned back to Harmony as he waited to see if Marion would come over or not.

"She doesn't know this, but later I'm going to kill her in a snow ball fight," he told Harmony with a wink, "and you're going to help me." Mark had already invited Harmony to a snow ball fight, why not help him fight the enemy? "Oh!" Mark had almost forgotten about the Winter Feast taking place after school. "You're sitting with me at the feast, aren't you?" He was hoping she would, he liked spending time with this girl, and the feasts were also so fun. Mark had attend about four feast perhaps, give or take some, they were always a ball and why not sit to someone he thought was amazing? "Why'd have a lot of fun together. Like we could talk like we are right now... and eat like we are right now." He let out a small snort. Noticing Harmony was done eating he picked her tray up for her along with his, "Let me get this out of your way."

Taking the trays over to the nearest trash can, next to the Professor tables, he threw them away and quickly returned to Harmony not wanting to stay away from her long. "Gosh," he said when sitting back down, "you get more beautiful every time I see you, I swear." As he swore he did the scouts honor hand sign. Resting his arm on the table he held his hand out and held his head as he watched Harmony. "I can't wait for Winter Feast, it'll be so yummy!" Mark and food were best friends normally and he sensed he would probably over eat at the feast and have to exercise it off. "You want to go running with me tomorrow morning?" He invited her because he did his run almost every morning, but the more people the merrier it would be.

Alanna Ascot

It wasn't long before Alanna was joined at her warm table. The first to sit with her was Rachel who slid silently into the seat opposite Alanna. Alanna, her mouth full of jam toast, gave her a smile and a nod. Next to join them a moment later was Kara.
"Hey Alanna, Rachel." Kara greeted both girls, although Alanna could easily detect the tension that seemed to run between the two. Rachel was a fire elemental while Kara was water. Like lightning and ice the two didn't mix and Alanna could understand their hesitation around each other. Her mouth now empty of food, Alanna gave Kara a wide smile,
"Morning Kara."

"How you two enjoying the snow day?" Rachel's question seemed strained. Alanna gave a grimace, thinking of her toes that were slowly thawing.
"It's way too cold to be outside.' Came Alanna's quiet reply, "I almost froze my toes off coming across the courtyard."
A moment later Rachel excused herself from the table and Alanna was left with Kara. With Rachel's absence Alanna had a perfect view of the whole dining room. Her eyes followed Marion March as she entered, a large snowball in her hand. As Alanna watched Marion sneaked behind Mark and let the cold snowball fall down his bare back. A small smirk formed on Alanna's face as Mark jumped up with a yelp. Alanna was not a fan of the ice boy and it amused her to see him pranked, even if by a friend. Her smirk stretched further across her face when Professor Javier told Mark off. Of course the room did take on a much cooler temperature as the teacher stood, but soon enough the fire was flickering back into full life.

"You looking forward to the feast tonight?" Alanna asked Kara, turning her attention back to her friend. Alanna gave her a smile, "And the after party?"
Alanna wasn't one of those people that was always the centre of attention but she liked a good party as much as the next person.

Lockie Porter

Being hit by a snowball wasn't usually so shocking. But when the snowball in question seemed to come out of nowhere the shock was laced with confusion too. Lockie, his mind completely occupied by his branch of snow, gave a yelp of surprise as the snowball hit him. He turned towards the direction it had (apparently) been thrown from, only to find nobody near.

Puzzled Lockie spun further around and found Alex standing a few short paces away from him. Lockie opened his mouth, about to ask if Alex had seen the culprit when suddenly the dots connected. A playful smile appeared on Lockie's face and he was just about to retaliate when a stream of snowballs hit Alex from another direction. Lockie could help the laughter that burst from his mouth. Alex's initial confusion disappeared as the other boy spotted Theia. Theia was another air elementalist and another good friend of Lockie's.

Lockie's laughter was cut short as another snowball hit his face, a mouthful cutting off his laughing. This time it took Lockie little time to find the culprit, Niall.

"This means WAR!" Lockie could only grin at Alex's words, they were an echo of Lockie's own thoughts.
"Bring it on!" Lockie shouted, scooping up a handful of snow as he spoke with his left hand. His right hand gave a quick twirl, calling any stray wind nearby to him and into a miniature tornado. The snowball went in and then shot out. Multiple snowballs followed, each aimed for either Niall, Alex or Theia. He received his fair share of snowball hits, but managed to dodge anymore of the face shots.

Halfway through the fight, with all sides more or less soaked and covered in snow (apart from Niall who seemed immune to it), Alex ran into the middle of the action.
"Hold it! Time out! Hang on a second!" His call to stop got to Lockie a second too late and before Lockie could hold it back a lone snowball shot out at the boy. Lockie couldn't help but shrug, not too concerned about it. Or rather considering it fair payback for Alex's first shot at the unsuspecting Lockie.

Lockie listened as Alex suggested an air elemental, with Niall, snow fight. The idea definitely had a certain appeal to it.
"We should invite the other elements too, we could have an elemental snowball fight." Lockie suggested, already picturing a school wide snowball fight. His eyes flicked to Catarina's freshly formed snowball in her hand, he hadn't even noticed the girl appearing. Of course the ice students would have a major advantage but that would just make it more of a challenge. Also Lockie had to agree with Niall's statement that he was the only dry one. Being able to absorb water was also a definite advantage.

"Anyway, I'm going to the dining hall before someone takes all of the bacon. Anyone want to come?"
At the mention of breakfast Lockie's stomach gave a grumble, agreeing with Alex.
"Breakfast sounds like a fantastic idea" Lockie said. He also wouldn't mind drying off a bit. He could see the smoke from the dining room chimney and was already thinking longingly of the warm fire.

Brent Tanner

Brent's head was pounding, the rhythmic thumping in his skull no doubt punishment for his night of excess. While students may not be allowed out of the Academy grounds during term time the teachers had no such restrictions. Brent's trip into the nearest town and pub had seen him returning in the early morning hours of the day.

"I'm never drinking again." The man grumbled to himself, rolling out of bed and hitting the ground with a thud. He pushed himself to his feet and took a look around the room, his eyes squinting at the light streaming through his open window. He stumbled over to the window and swore quietly under his breath, snow. It wasn't that Brent disliked snow. Actually, he quite liked it. But today he really couldn't be bothered dealing with the problems that snow brought. Cold hands, slippery walkways and a limited access to the outdoors for class experiments. Added to that was the fact that the light glaring off the white snow was doing Brent's head no favours.

Closing the window shut and pulling the curtain Brent slumped back into his bed, only to be shocked a moment later by the blaring of his alarm. He swore and threw his hand out. The little metal alarm clock went flying through the air, breaking into pieces as it hit the wall. However, much to Brent's immense irritation, the buzzing continued.
"Enough already! I'm up!" He said to himself, pushing himself off the bed. He gave a quick wave of his hand and the metal pieces of the alarm clock reformed. He quickly turned it off and made his way to his bathroom.

Showering helped to wake him up some as did brushing his teeth. He dressed in his usual casual jeans and shirt. He slung on a jacket, grabbed a pair of sunglasses to protect his fragile head from the bright outdoors and then headed out the door. He entered the dining hall from the kitchens, waving to the cooks as he passed the hot elements. A moment later he was out amongst the tables, passing the few seated students as they ate their breakfast. Quickly he chose his meal, bacon and toast, and made his way to the teachers table. He nodded a greeting to Jaydon and Michael before digging into his meal.

Kara took a bite of food, hearing Alanna respond with a morning back to her was nice. Sighing softly she heard the girl, Rachel, whom she didn't like too much start to talk. "How you two enjoying the snow day?" She had asked and Kara shrugged. "I mean I'm not too much of a fan of the cold, but I don't mind it too much." She answered once all the food in her mouth was gone. It was also then that Rachel had gotten up and walked off after excusing herself. There was a small roll of Kara's eyes as she quickly turned her attention from Rachel walking away to Alanna who was sitting next to her. Right when Rachel start to talk to Professor Janiver a girl, Marion, hit Mark who for some reason had absolutely no shirt on. He jumped then once Rachel was a distance away from Mr. Janiver Kara shivered when feeling him drop the temputure. She flinched hearing that booming voice of his as he told Mark and Marion off. Sure maybe Mark had deserved it since he was crawling around on the ground, but they were just messing around. Rolling her eyes at the teacher she looked at Alanna as soon as the tempeture rose again.

Sighing softly she shook her head. She just decided not to say anything that she was thinking right about now about the teacher who told poor Mark off. It was quite rude, but she knew she should probably just keep her thoughts to herself. "You looking forward to the feast tonight?" Alanna had finally said which broke Kara from her daze. "Oh yeah, are you?" She questioned with a smile. "And the after party?" Alanna had added afterwards. "The after party is probably going to be the best part." She commented as she messed with her outfit a little. She had always been a fan of the after party just because she was finally able to drink and because she was always a fan of parties. By this time while Kara and Alanna were talking Rachel had reached the table and wa sonce again sitting across from Alanna. "What are you going to wear?" Rachel asked both of the girls which made Kara think about it for a few moments. "Honestly? I have no idea. I was thinking like a dress that was pink or blue, but I'm not really sure." She answered Rachel's question. "What do you think your going to wear?" She asked the girl, trying to be as kind as she possibly could.

Harmony was in her own world when a teacher had suddenly snapped at Marion and Mark for messing around in the Dining Room. She lifted her head to see Mark coming towards her and it made her smile a little. He still had his shirt off! She bit her lip gently as he sat next to her and put his shirt back on. "Do you think I'd make a good stripper?" He had asked and she laughed softly. "Oh yeah. Definitely," She was half joking, half telling the truth to him. He then just kept talking, and agreed with himself. Man could this kid talk. "She doesn't know this, but later I'm going to kill her in a snow ball fight," he told Harmony with a wink, "and you're going to help me." A small blush made its way onto her face after seeing him wink at her. "Oh is that so? Maybe I'll go against you because you know some times I'm not really a team player." She told him with a small grin on her face.

She had just started to mess with her hair when suddenly Mark had exclaimed, "Oh!" which just out right startled her. "You're sitting with me at the feast, aren't you?" Harmony put a finger on her lips, tapping it lightly as she thought about it for a few moments. Who else was she planning on going with? She had never really thought about going until he mentioned it. "Sure I'll sit by you Mark," She told him gently. It was then when her eyes caught on a certain teacher just now walking in... Mr. Tanner. Rolling her eyes at the teacher she returned her attention to the boy who was now known in her book as a talker. Which she didn't mind because honestly she was used to him talking a lot, she was more of the person who liked to listen and answer him when he wanted her too.

It was also then when he had noticed her empty plate, and took it for her. She would have taken it, but she had been busy trying to communicate with Mark. "Gosh," he had said when sitting back down, "you get more beautiful every time I see you, I swear." She rolled her eyes playfully at him. "Every time?" She asked then smiled brightly. "Thanks Mark, you freaking flirt." She joked, gently nudging him with her hand. "You want to go running with me tomorrow morning?" He asked and she nodded. "Yeah of course! I love running in the morning when I can. What time are you going to go running?" She questioned him, resting her elbow on the table then resting her head on her open palm. Her open hand that wasn't supporting her head went to her back pocket where her phone was slowly slipping out after pushing it back into the pocket she sat up straight, giving Mark a bright smile.

Alex heartily replied to the group, "Breakfast it is!" He turned in the direction of the dining hall with Lockie and Theia in tow behind him. He called back to Niall, "You can catch up with us later if you want, Niall.". Turning to Lockie and Theia, he said, "About adding the other elements. My thought is, why can't we do both? We can do the all air elemental fight at break, and gather the others for after classes are over. We can do a sort of, battle of the elements, or something. I doubt the fire and lightning guys will want in though. Same goes for earth; too pragmatic."

Arriving at the dining hall, noticed a note hanging on the door. Alex quickly scanned over the contents, and his face shone with delight. He turned to his two friends, and said, "Probably shouldn't be a surprise, with the first snow and all, but the Winter Feast is happening tonight!" Of course, this wasn't the only reason he was thrilled. The food would be great and all, but it was less the feast and more the after-party that interested him.

Alex entered the dining hall with his two friends behind him. He quickly grabbed some breakfast (pancakes, bacon, and orange juice, as usual), and grabbed a table. As Lockie and Theia arrived, Alex noticed his other friend, Marion, standing a few tables away, having apparently finished some prank. He called over to her, "Hey Marion! What are you standing around over there for? Come on, get over here!"

As Marion silently held her breath underneath the dark table, she watched Mark's and Harmony's reactions to her harmless prank. While Harmony merely sat in place and did nothing, Mark jumped right out of his seat, formed a snowball with his ice powers, and with watchful eyes, looked around the dining hall. "I only know two people that would do this to me," he loudly announced with pride, "Theia and Marion! So come wherever you hide!"

Oh geez, he's onto me... she thought as she watched Mark pace around the large room in circles. A smile crept on her face every time he came closer to her location. Eventually, he started to crawl on all fours, as though he were a wild animal hunting for his prey. "Do I spot myself a snow thrower?" Mark said in a merry voice. Although it was obviously cheerful, it almost sounded demonic to Marion. As the snowball flew in her direction, she quickly dodged to the right. However, she didn't need to, as the practically melted sphere of precipitation had hit a table leg instead of her eye. "You have terrible aim for an ice kid, Mark." she silently murmured as she chuckled at his foiled attempts to get her back for her crime.

"Well then, you've won this battle!" the boy exclaimed as he started to draw nearer to her location. She was just about to hold her hands out and blast a gust of air right onto his face, when; "This is not a gymnasium Mr. Tom and Miss March!" boomed a loud voice from above. Marion knew that voice from anywhere; it was Mr. Janvier, the instructor of the Battle Theory class. "If you would please return to your seats and behave like the civilized human beings you are, you may be able to survive second period today!" She subtly rolled her eyes, and then took her time as she followed Mr. Janvier's instructions. She had never been intimidated by him like other students at Eastern Gradon, nor did she really hate him, but he was one of the teachers she didn't particularly care for. He was always so strict, and he always had a crazed ax-murderer look in his eyes. (at least, that's what Marion thought.) Sometimes his points on Battle theory itself seemed invalid to her. Although she pretended to act like one, she was never really a fighter, and his importance on the whole subject seemed almost impractical to her. Besides, wouldn't a snowy day be the one time when he WASN'T in a cranky mood?

She couldn't help quietly chuckling as Mr. Janvier addressed Mark's bare chest, as Marion was going to make the same comment. As she watched the tightly-wound professor leave the scene, her attention turned back to Mark and Harmony. As she heard the eighteen-year-old boy make a comment about himself being a stripper to Harmony, she unconsciously raised an eyebrow from behind him. Maybe he was a king at flirtation, but Marion was confused as to why Harmony was laughing when his comment just seemed so...disturbing. Shrugging it off, she was about to turn around, when she heard two remarks addressed to her at once. Mark had called her over to sit at the table, while another voice came from across the room. Sharply turning her head to the side, Marion could see a bunch of students approaching her. Not just any group of students, however, but her fellow air elementalists. Alexander Jacobson, a university student who studied in creative writing, seemed to lead the group, while Theia Abide, a girl similar to Marion in traits, and Lockie Porter, a blonde-haired boy who Marion thought had particularly exceptional genetic makeup despite the fact that he was much too old for her, followed behind.

"Hey Marion! What are you standing around over there for? Come on, get over here!" Alex called from across the dining hall. With a wide toothy grin on her face, she was just about to bolt right up to the group before stopping herself, realizing she had to address Mark first. "Thanks, but no thanks. Maybe I'll catch you guys later. Besides, I should probably leave you guys alone anyway...." She made her way up to Alexander as fast as she could without using her air powers, as she didn't want to arouse Mr. Janvier for the second time that morning.

"Sup, Jacobson!" she said as she strolled towards him, her arm raised in preparation for a high-five. She inspected the trio up and down, and dropped her jaw as she saw their snow-covered clothing. "Wait a second...did you...DID YOU ALL MAKE SNOW FORTS WITHOUT ME?!" She crossed her arms and widened her eyes, giving them all a "death-stare" as she ranted, "Y'know, I thought you would invite me to your little shin-dig, as I am the KING of making snow forts...Guess you guys just don't want my help...HOW CAN I EVEN CALL YOU MY FRIENDS?!" She approached Theia, giving her a light and playful punch on the shoulder, and jokingly stared at her straight into her huge bug-like eyes. "I might have even JOINED you, saving me the yelling by Janvier, BUT YOU NEVER INVITED ME. TYPICAL."

She ended her long statement in a chuckle, and turned to face Alex yet again. "So what's up, you guys? For some reason, I feel like I haven't talked to all of y'all in FOREVER." As she stood amongst the group, her eyes shifted towards the table with food. Her stomach was ecstatically growling, and she was craving a blueberry muffin at that particular moment.

Alanna Ascot

Kara responded to Alanna's questions with a smile, "The after party is probably going to be the best part." Kara said, to which Alanna nodded her agreement. While Alanna enjoyed the feast it was the after party that most of the students loved. Although Alanna was a quiet girl, she wasn't shy. She liked a decent party as much as the next person. She might not be the centre of attention at parties but she was usually there, talking with friends and having a good time.

"What are you going to wear?" Rachel asked Alanna and Kara. Alanna hadn't thought yet about what she might wear. The feast was formal, so she guessed that she would end up wearing one of her longer, classier dresses. As for the after-party whatever she decided to wear she was going to make sure that it kept her warm.

"I'm not certain yet." Alanna admitted with a shrug, "I guess I'll have to search through my wardrobe after classes."

Kara didn't yet seem sure of what she was going to wear either, although Alanna had no doubt that whatever she decided on it would be good. A moment later Rachel excused herself, her history books cradled in her arms.
Alanna cast a curious glance after the girl before turning a questioning gaze to Kara,
"Was it something we said?" She asked the other girl, a small smile on her face indicating she wasn't all that fussed either way.

It was then that Alanna noticed the entrance of the air elemental students. While she didn't know Alex well and actively avoided Theia, Lockie was one of her good friends. They all looked like they had been having a snow fight. Alanna couldn't help but shiver at the very thought of it. Lockie glanced over to Alanna's table and she sent him a smile in greeting. A grin appeared over his face and as she watched he quickly changed his route from following Alex to approaching Alanna and Kara.

Lockie Porter

Lockie happily followed Alex into the warmth of the dining hall. He let out an excited laugh as Alex mentioned that the winter feast would be tonight. Lockie always loved the feast. Last year he had had a race to the bottom of his glass of wine with Mr Tanner, a contest that Lockie had lost. Still, it had left him with an incredibly warm stomach and he had been laughing the rest of the night. The food at the dinner was also something to look forward to.

In fact most of the Academy food was of an excellent standard. The food spread out for breakfast smelled delicious, Lockie could see an array of every breakfast food imaginable. Alex headed straight for the breakfast bar, but Lockie hesitated and let his gaze wonder around the room. His eyes fell on Alanna and Kara, seated beside the fire. Alanna smiled at him in greeting and Lockie couldn't help the grin that flashed across his face as an idea struck him. He changed direction and made his way towards the two girls.

"Good morning Al. Morning Kara." He greeted the two, tipping an imaginary hat at the both of them. He stepped behind them and held his hands out as if he were warming them on the fire. He was still soaked and covered in half melted snow from his snow fight.

However his hands, instead of staying still, quickly gave a twirl as he called the room's air currents to him. He acted quickly, not wanting either Alanna or Kara to realise what he was doing before he had done it. Using his hands and his mind to control the currents he sent them spiraling around his body. Melted snow was flung off as the winds spun around him and where did they land? With another movement of his hand Lockie managed to manipulate his winds so that the majority of his half-melted snow hit Alanna. Of course he made sure that Kara received a light sprinkling too, it never paid to ignore a pretty lady.

Alanna, about to turn to speak to Lockie gave a yelp as she the cold water hit her.
"What the hell Lockie!?" She yelled, jumping up from her seat. Angry amusement was the best way to describe Alanna's feelings at being sprayed with half-melted snow. If it had been anyone else she would already have lost her temper, but it was hard to be outright angry with Lockie. "You are such a brat." She said, giving him a moderate push. Lockie had one of his stupid, lopsided grins on, making it all even harder to be very angry with him.

"Did I hit you? So sorry, I was only trying to dry off." Lockie replied, obviously a lie. Prank over he quickly made his escape before Alanna, or Kara, could take revenge. He grabbed a plate, loaded up some food and made his way happily to sit with Alex just as Marion joined them.
"The snow fight was sort of impromptu, but Alex had an idea to have one later." Lockie told her before digging into his breakfast.

Alanna, still standing, glanced at Kara as Lockie left.
"He knows I hate being cold." She muttered to her friend, moving closer to the fire to help dry herself off, "Which is exactly why he did that. You wouldn't think that he's one of the oldest students here by the way he acts."

"I agree with Jacobson. What's the point if everyone's in on it?" she tags on as the trio walk to the dining hall, leaving the curly haired Irish boy behind to flirt with Catarina, who seems nothing if not receptive to his advances. She glances over her shoulder to see that the Ice girl is sashaying towards Niall, and doesn't bother to suppress an amused grin at the calculated style of walking. Subtlety is hard to come by, these days, she muses, despite not really being able to talk on this. While her lies and antics may occasionally be more toned down, they are more likely to not be, and she does now how to make bangs now and again. This seems a common characteristic around air students- especially the women, now that the young woman thinks about it. Marion is a walking firecracker, and Adelaide is always easy to pick out in a crowd- the latter is true of Theia as well, but that's because her eyes are like headlights that stick out in the crowd.

She glances over towards Alex as he announces the obvious with great enthusiasm. She smirks at his comment, "Give the boy a medal." Still, though she already knew about the feast, the girl is equally excited for the festivities that are to happen throughout the day. Not so much the feast, which she often skips anyway, but the after party that follows, which is one of the best of the school year. She spends most of the feast pushing her food around and messing with whoever is unfortunate enough to have decided to sit near her for the hour or so that it goes on, anyway. For obvious reasons, feasts aren't really her cup of tea. Well, obvious if one is perfectly aware of everything going on with Theia, which means clear to the few and far between. Even among her good friends, Theia isn't the sort to be honest about herself, giving cryptic lies and never talking about herself in a manner that even comes close to genuine. Most simply give up on trying to get to know her because of this trait in the young woman, and she can hardly blame them- or be upset about it. She prefers that people not pry past her lies anyway.

Theia makes herself a light plate of fruit and grabs a cup of water before sitting down beside Alex, who has loaded his plate up with all sorts of breakfast foods. Of course, she is soon bombarded by the fast and seemingly endless stream of words that flows through Marion March's mouth, as the hyperactive younger student comes over at Alex's call. Listening to the girl jump from here to there, verbally of course, Theia grins up at her, leaving her plate untouched as she sits through the playful accusations that are turned towards them, most having to do with the fact that they hadn't invited her to play in the snow with them. Of all of the elements, Theia believes the Air kids to have the tightest of bonds- perhaps because they all share a mischievous nature, and thus have a great tolerance for each other's many antics.

"Sorry, Marchy, but it was a game for big kids only," she says with a grin, as Marion is the only one among the current company who falls beneath the age of being a legal adult; Not that she doesn't have enough stories and tales to make the typical forty year old envious. When Marion punches her in the arm, Theia smirks at her and whips wind around her body in a very tight motion, so as not to flip over the plates, and blows the water on her onto Marion. "There- now it's just as though you had joined us, isn't it? Marchy, I can hear your black hole of a stomach from here. Hungry?"

She slides her own plate towards Marion, though it doesn't have a blueberry muffin on it, consisting only of fruit. "Here, have mine. I'm going to make myself as hungry as possible for the Winter Feast," she lies easily with a smile, knowing perfectly well that she doesn't plan to take a single bite at that feast. Well, perhaps one bite, if anyone pesters her, but not any more.

Alex stood up from his seat and returned Marion's high five. "Meh, not much," he replied. "Just the usual: generally causing chaos wherever I go." He noticed the look on Marion's face and instantly recognized it. It was Marion's I just got away with something face. He listened to Marion's little rant, fairly amused at it. He burst out laughing when Theia drenched her, and couldn't contain himself either when Lockie drenched his friend, Alanna. He looked around to drench someone too, but the only potential candidates were all people who required a deal of subtlety when pranking. Blasting the water on his coat at them definitely was not part of that category. "Great" he commented on this. "Looks like Marion and I will have to be the wet half of the table." He threw off his wet coat, to be free of the water weighing him down.

When Lockie spilled the beans about his idea for the second snowball fight, Alex added, "Its not just some ordinary snowball fight, Lockie. Marion, imagine this. Imagine a snowball fight entirely composed of air elementalists. Think of the chaos! The insanity! The random hits on innocent bystanders! Tell me that's not amazing."

When Theia gave her breakfast, which was meager to begin with, to Marion, Alex frowned a bit. He knew that Theia didn't like eating, but this was a little ridiculous. "So your just going to skip breakfast then, Theia? That's the most important meal of the day. It's psychological." He put some of his extra bacon onto a plate. "Here, eat this. Before you turn it down, bacon is the food of GOD! Turning it down is blasphemy! Come on, eat it. I promise I didn't poison it." A pause. "That much."

Turning back to Marion, he said, "Anyway, Marion, you saw the sign for the winter feast right?" Addressing his friends, he asked, "Are we all sitting at the same table? The air group has to stick together, you know."

Brent Tanner

With his breakfast happily digesting and his head slightly less aching than earlier, Brent pushed back his seat and took his tray of food up to the kitchens.
"Stunning as always Mel." Brent said with a wink to the cafeteria worker who took his plates. The older woman chuckled, used to Brent.

With his hands buried in his pockets and whistling a tune he left the dining room. Brent stepped out into the crisp morning, the cool air helping further to wake him up. As he walked towards the physics laboratory he let his mind go over the lesson. He could never remember who he had in each class, he'd have to check his roll when he got to the classroom. He entered the building a moment later, cringing slightly as the door slammed after him.

He took a deep breath, the science department always had a particular smell to it that Brent loved. Part chemicals, part metal and part inspiration... or so Brent thought. His physics room was on the third floor. Brent happily took the elevator, a relatively modern addition to the old building. He stepped out, turned left and then opened the door to his lab.

Desks stood empty across the room. They were high tables with stools instead of chairs. You average student would be the height sitting or standing when in the room. Brent went to work immediately, setting out the equipment. Each table, capable of sitting a pair of students, received one set of each. He loved experiment days. He could write out the instructions and let the students do the rest of the work, leaving him to rest at his desk.

Equipment out Brent returned to his desk, sat down in his comfortable chair and swung his feet up to rest on his desk. His hands went behind his head to act as a pillow and he let his eyes close as he waited for his students to arrive.

Alanna Ascot

β€œI've only tried it once Alanna, didn't go as well as I’d hoped.” Lowell replied. Alanna wasn't entirely sure if he was serious or not. She cocked her head slightly, trying to imagine the outcome. She gave up with the arrival of Blue.

"So, did I miss anything?" Blue asked as she sat down with the group and began eating. Alanna, thinking about Lockie's little joke screwed up her nose and let Lowell answer,
β€œLet’s see…you missed Lockie and his amazing flights of fancy. So nothing too out of the ordinary.”

"Are we meeting up in your room tonight?" Blue's question immediately took Alanna's mind off of Lockie's prank and she nodded happily to Blue.
"Sure are. Kara, you're coming too right?" Alanna replied. Alanna hoped that Kara would come, but she would understand if she had other plans. Alanna was looking forward to the feast and was pleased that she and Blue would be going together. It was always fun when the two of them did things together. Take for example drinking. The last party they had gone to together had been a bit of a blur for Alanna, but her and Blue had had a blast.

Alanna's eyes flicked to Lowell and a thought struck her as she glanced back to Blue. "Lowell, why don't you come with us? We're going to go as a group of friends." Alanna gave him a friendly smile before adding, "It'll be fun."
While he wasn't one of Alanna's best friends she always enjoyed having Lowell around. Perhaps it was because he was another lightning elemental and there weren't many of them at the Academy. Whatever the reason Alanna thought that he'd make a good addition to the party. Plus, it was always funny watching Blue around Lowell.

Alanna glanced up from the table, her attention drawn to Mr Tanner as he left the dining room. His departure reminded Alanna that classes would be starting soon enough. She'd finished her breakfast but she would wait for her friends before leaving for class. She had physics anyway, Mr Tanner never seemed to mind if you turned up a minute or two late.

Lockie Porter

"Its not just some ordinary snowball fight, Lockie. Marion, imagine this. Imagine a snowball fight entirely composed of air elementalists. Think of the chaos! The insanity! The random hits on innocent bystanders! Tell me that's not amazing."
Lockie had to smile as Alex described the snowball fight.
"Ya know, that does sounds pretty amazing" Lockie said through a mouthful of cereal. He could picture whirlwinds of flying snow, running students and flying snowballs.

Lockie, lost in his imagination, barely noticed that Theia wasn't eating. In fact he only realised when Alex pushed a portion of his breakfast onto Theia's plate and said, "So your just going to skip breakfast then, Theia? That's the most important meal of the day. It's psychological... Here, eat this. Before you turn it down, bacon is the food of GOD! Turning it down is blasphemy! Come on, eat it. I promise I didn't poison it... That much."
Lockie, oblivious to the actual reason for Theia not eating grabbed his own plate and helpfully shovelled a portion of his eggs and fruit salad onto Theia's plate.
"Did you forget to grab your food?" Lockie asked, completely forgetting the fact that Theia had just given away her food. Lockie was like that. His mind seemed to wonder at times and he would often missed portions of conversations.

"Are we all sitting at the same table? The air group has to stick together, you know." Alex's question was an obvious. Lockie nodded,
"You bet." He told Alex. He'd finished his cereal, engulfed it really and now his hands were ideally blowing small gusts of wind down the table. The winds caught on to odd pieces of dust and paper, swirling them around and off the table. "We should make sure to get the table furthest from the teachers." He added, thinking of last year when he'd been right next to the teachers. Being right under the watchful eyes of the teachers meant that you couldn't enjoy the mulled wine provided by the Academy.

With a jolt Lockie sat up straight, his winds ceasing abruptly.
"Is it time for classes yet?" He asked, pulling back his sleeve to check his watch. Only he wasn't wearing his watch. For that matter he didn't seem to have any of his books or bags with him either.
"What do I have first?" he mumbled to himself a moment later, racking his mind for a reminder of his scheduale. If it was a physical subject he wouldn't need to get his books, but he had a feeling that his first class was likely to be something else.

Theia turned and smirked at Alexander's observation that only he and Marion are wet now, as the others have dried themselves off- at the expense of previously dry students. "Poor babies," she said mockingly, her mood rather good as she thinks about the party that's going to be happening tonight- it should be as brilliant as usual, and you know that she'll be leaving behind a line of trouble throughout the night. Theia has a habit of pulling pranks on those who get drunk first, leaving many to wake up the next morning even more confused than they otherwise might have been. Of course, perhaps the other air elementals will join in on her traditional games- it will hardly take a good deal of persuasion to convince them to pull a few pranks with her, after all. While the air elemental group may seem like a bunch of kids with their heads in the clouds, they aren't the sort that one should get on the bad side of, because they can exact some creative revenge- especially if Theia is heading it, for she is the least concerned with keeping pranks friendly.

Theia grins at Lockie, who had been zoning out again, when he finally agrees to an air-exclusive snowball fight, which she predicts will be absolutely amazing. All they need to do is gather everyone up for it, and it will be a break to remember, that much is certain. Her mood is killed slightly when Alex begins shoveling his food onto her plate and scolding her for giving her own away, going on a rant about the importance of breakfast and, overall, sounding like a PBS character. Well, except for the stray comment about poisoning it. Playing it off, she grins at him, "I dunno- if you put some weird thing in this food, I'm going to have to retaliate." She begins to pick at the food, not really eating it, when Lockie, too, begins to move much of his food onto it, the sum of both of their breakfasts creating a small mountain of various breakfast foods on her plate. The doe-eyed girl grimaces slightly before looking over towards them with raised eyebrows.

Still, she quickly turns her attention to the other side of the conversation, which involves sitting together for the feast, naturally. "I don't know that that's even a serious question, Alex. We have to sit away from them where we can cause a good amount of chaos without being under the radar," she chimes in. More than once, the teachers must have considered changing the policy so that Air students would have to sit near them, but then decided against it out of fear that food would fly onto the teacher's table constantly. Thus, the free-reign over seating remains, although it hangs on a thin wire.

"Yep, time to go," Theia agrees with Lockie, picking up her untouched plate and tossing it into the nearest trashcan. "I don't know about you guys, but I have Mr. Shaw first period, so I'd better get going- you know he has a thing against Air kids," Theia makes a face before pulling her bag over her shoulder.

Ah, wait- Shaw was first period last year. Damn, I'm out of it today. Ms. Heart first period today, she reminds herself.

After a rather dull breakfast with a few people, Blake was ready to get out of the cafeteria and head to his first period- which happened to be Mr. Tanner's Physics class. The two have a rather typical student-teacher relationship with each other, which is to say none at all, outside of the classroom. It's the sort of class that he could go without, really, because he doubts physics will apply much to his future plans- Mathematics with Ms. Heart is more important for business, of course, but he doesn't have her until second period. Despite seeming the sort to do so at times, Blake isn't really one for skipping classes, and thus doesn't plan on missing Mr. Tanner's, even if he isn't really interested in the subject.

He stood up in time to see Kevin Stihl in a rather dark looking conversation with Scarlett Tully, who tends to look at people like they are pieces of meat. Of course, he can't object to this, for he looks at people like they are tools to be used- at least as far as those whom he doesn't know particularly well goes, anyway. He can be perfectly civil, and in fact is charming to most people, but that doesn't mean that he isn't looking out for those who make good allies and can be rather useful to him in the future. Not that he's going to be too obvious about it, of course- that would just be simple stupidity.

Still, he somewhat pities the fellow who has Scarlett Tully sinking her claws into him- she's acted strangely around he himself for the longest time, and he can't help but be reminded of a large female cat stalking its prey whenever the girl speaks to someone. It can be perfectly sexy, of course, but rather disconcerting at the same time- a shame, for such a gorgeous girl.

Not interested in whatever else happens in the cafeteria, especially as it is nearly time for classes to begin, Blake grabs his physics book and begins heading down the hallway, past Scarlett's table, towards his first class. On his way, he stops to chat with one or two people, giving him a bit of a lag as far as getting to class goes, but Mr. Tanner has never been known as the strictest of teachers.

"Sorry, Marchy, but it was a game for big kids only," Theia had replied to Marion as she was ranting. The rules of age always seemed to be a problem for Marion. Not just her physical age, but her mental age as well. Personality-wise, many people considered the sixteen-year-old to be immature, reckless, even. People's judgement of her characteristics always seemed to be heightened by the fact that she was younger than most of her friends. Afterwards, Theia gave a mischievous smirk, and with an almost thin-like gust of wind, she sprayed tiny droplets of water onto Marion. Taken by surprise, she closed her eyes as the melted snow splattered upon her body, getting her clothes soaking wet. Once she had processed what had happened, She heavily laughed, her nose scrunching up in its usual fashion. From behind her, she could hear Alex laughing as well.
"There- now it's just as though you had joined us, isn't it? Marchy, I can hear your black hole of a stomach from here. Hungry? She gave a small chuckle, and smirked at the blonde-haired university student. "Thanks for caring Theia," she said, "And yeah, I didn't have breakfast yet. You have the ears of a dolphin, I swear."

"The snow fight was sort of impromptu, but Alex had an idea to have one later." said Lockie, who had just returned to the table with a huge plate of food. As he shoveled into his breakfast, Marion's face lit up, and she ecstatically turned over to Alex while she sat at the table. "ALEX. I WANT DEETZ. NOW." she said, her light-brown pigmented eyes wide yet again. "Its not just some ordinary snowball fight, Lockie. Marion, imagine this. Imagine a snowball fight entirely composed of air elementalists. Think of the chaos! The insanity! The random hits on innocent bystanders! Tell me that's not amazing."
"I'm just hoping there's no age restriction on it!" she laughed, taking a quick glance at Theia.

It was then in that quick glance that Marion noticed the nineteen-year-old slide her plate of fruits over to her side. Marion raised an eyebrow at her. "Here, have mine." she said, "I'm going to make myself as hungry as possible for the Winter Feast."Marion exchanged a look with Alex, and then frowned. It was hard to tell if Theia was joking or not. Despite her similarites to Marion, she was a tough nut to crack. She hadn't been eating much lately, which was worrying everyone in the air elementalist group, to say the least. Unsure of what to say or do, Marion just stared at Theia for a moment with a blank expression.

"So your just going to skip breakfast then, Theia? That's the most important meal of the day. It's psychological." Alex said, bringing her back to her senses. "Yeah," she added with a lighthearted grin, "I mean, Theia, you've already done me ENOUGH favors for the day!" She gestured towards her wet clothes with an abundance of exaggeration. "You don't need to do me another one. In fact, now I owe you..."
Alex slapped a piece of crispy-looking bacon onto the plate, "Here, eat this. Before you turn it down, bacon is the food of GOD! Turning it down is blasphemy! Come on, eat it. I promise I didn't poison it." Marion looked at Theia with a wide smirk and charismatic eyes as Alex paused, "That much." Lockie eventually followed suit, shoveling some of his own food onto Theia's plate as well.

The tide of the conversation quickly turned as Alex asked, "Anyway, Marion, you saw the sign for the winter feast right?"
She smiled, "Yup. I'm going, of course. I can't turn down free food, man. I'm assuming you guys are going as well, right?"
"Are we all sitting at the same table? The air group has to stick together, you know."
"Hell, yeah!" she bursted out rather loudly.
"You bet." muttered Lockie, "We should make sure to get the table furthest from the teachers." Marion chuckled in reply.
"I don't know that that's even a serious question, Alex." chimed in Theia, "We have to sit away from them where we can cause a good amount of chaos without being under the radar," Marion watched as she picked at her food slightly.
"I wonder what the feast'll be like," she randomly muttered, her eyes staring up towards the ceiling, "It's only been my first year here. I heard from some of the kids that the after party is good fun."

Suddenly, Lockie abruptly stood up, "Is it time for classes yet?" he asked, the lens of his glasses glinting from the light.
Theia stood up as well, and tossed her plate of food into the trash, "Yep, time to go," she said, "I don't know about you guys, but I have Mr. Shaw first period, so I'd better get going- you know he has a thing against Air kids,"
"Dammit," Marion muttered, "I barely ate breakfast...But yeah, Mr. Shaw is like that. I have Mr. Tanner first period."

She grabbed her green and blue canvas bag, and slung it over her shoulder. Before one of the lunch ladies could collect the untouched food, Marion swiftly grabbed a much craved blueberry muffin. She opened her mouth and focused on taking huge bites, hoping she could finish it up before the beginning of first period. It was then, when she was about to walk back to her friends of air elementalists, that she noticed Beau Miller sitting alone at a table, reading a book. As she stood in the middle of the dining hall, she unconciously stared at the back of his head. Was he going to be at the Winter Feast? Hopefully. Marion had learned from her one year of actual high school that for some reason, not everyone enjoyed going to school celebrations. Strangely, the "cool kids" always seemed to skip dances and other highly anticipated events that her old school had planned. She didn't understand why, but it frustrated her. Would Beau do the same? Then again, did it matter? Despite her daring and fearless persona, Marion had never mustered up the courage to talk to Beau. She hadn't even introduced herself to him. She only allowed herself to watch him from afar.

"Excuse me." said a girl's voice behind her, bringing Marion back down to planet earth. "Sorry," she apologized, her cheeks turning a moderately soft shade of red. After taking one last glance over at Beau, Marion skipped over to her group of friends, and began to walk with them as she ate her muffin and made her way to first period class.

Kara was a little nosy, she admitted that much. She sighed, shifting in her seat when Lowell responded to her. β€œI’m not writing much, just finishing something up I started this morning before the sunrise and right after it began snowing. Kinda got the creative juices flowing I suppose.”He finished which made her nod. "That's good, so do you draw or write stuff if that note book?" She asked curiously. Right afterwards she sighed, looking over at Blue who had just sat down. She offered the girl a gentle smile. "Are we meeting up in your room tonight?" Blue had asked Alanna. She glanced down at her lap for a minute, waiting for Alanna's response. "Sure are. Kara, you're coming too right?" Alanna had replied to Blue's question. "Of course I am!" She replied with a bright smile. There was no doubt that she would be there. Running a hand through her hair she sighed softly. "Do you guys know what you’re wearing to the after party?" She asked suddenly since they were on the topic of the Feast and After Party. She glanced at Alanna then at Blue and finally at Lowell.

"Lowell, why don't you come with us? We're going to go as a group of friends." Alanna had gave him a friendly smile before adding, "It'll be fun." Kara looked to Lowell, quirking an eyebrow at him as if wondering what his response would be. She kind of hope he would be there just because she thought the more the merrier. Plus she thought Lowell was a pretty cool person. She hesitated slightly before taking her phone out and playing angry birds while thinking of how Lowell would even respond to that question that came from Alanna. Lifting her head momentarily from her game after losing a round she noticed Brent Tanner making his way out of the Dining room and probably to his class. This reminded her that there was only a small time left before class was supposed to begin. Great... she was never really the one who enjoyed school or tried very hard in it either.

Beau slowly tore his eyes away from his book, and dispensed it back into his bag where it was supposed to be. After seeing several people stand up and leave the dining room where he assumed most were going to class. By checking his watch that confirmed his thoughts. Not at all did he notice Marion looking at him at any point in time because he was too focused on the book To Kill a Mockingbird at the time. He glanced around the room just in time to see the Marion leaving with a few of her friend's. He grumbled a little angrily as he remembered what class he had next... stupid Professor Tanner. He didn't even deserve the Professor part really all he deserved was Brent. He mumbled something under his breath about Metal's before he spun placed his bag onto his shoulders and left the dining room.

Upon walking from the dining room he went outside, buying himself some time before having to get to the class he disliked probably the most out of all of them. He stopped outside, scooping a cold ball of ice into his hand. Pushing it from hand to hand he debated whether or not he should throw it up into the air. Suddenly a grin took to his face this happened when he got the best idea he could think about. Of course like any other person would he second guessed himself when he knew he would probably get in trouble along with making Brent Tanner disliking him even more than he already did. He chuckled at the thought, it was a good one, but today he wasn't really in the mood for it. He hesitated before throwing it at the school then he went back into school.

Finally after wasting some time he went to class, looking around for maybe a fellow Wood student to be in the hallway. Shaking his head he hated the fact that there weren't that many Wood students. He crossed his arms over his chest, sighing softly. He passed by a flyer which said that there was a Feast tonight. Oh great, a feast tonight. When there was a Feast there was going to be an after party and that was pretty much the only thing that he actually looked forward to. Mostly because he didn't have to wear a tux while watching other's stuff their faces and dance. Plus he didn't really enjoy it because most years it was just him and a few other friend's. It was nothing that really interested him to be honest he kind of really just preferred to sit under a tree while other's danced and spent their time at the feast. He sighed softly, thinking more about it as he began to near the one class he didn't want to go to but had to go to.

Harmony sighed softly, shaking her head at Mark. She then noticed a few people rising from their seat, obviously class was about to start. She slid her phone from her pocket, checking the time before stuffing it back into her back pocket. "I better get to class Mark, it was nice talking to you. I'll see you in class later, okay?" She told him before getting up, slinging her bag over her shoulder then smiling at Mark a moment before walking away from the table. She thought about which class she had and soon enough she remembered that it was Professor Tanner that she had at the beginning of the day. Sighing softly she began to make her way over there, wondering if she had left anything in her room that she may have needed for the class, though, she doubted it.

Alanna Ascot

Alanna waited long enough for Lowell's answer before picking up her plate and standing up from the table.

"I've gotta get to class." She said to the small group, glancing quickly at the number of students leaving the dining hall, "But I'll see you guys in class." Alanna couldn't remember if she shared physics class with any of the three, but second period was Professor Janvier's compulsory class so she would see them then anyway.

Alanna quickly took her plates up to be cleaned before leaving through the main doors. Immediately the cold hit her and Alanna hugged her clothes tighter around her. Not wanting to slip on any of the ice she took care with her steps. She managed to make it across the snow filled yard with no problem, reaching the relative safety of the covered walkway without mishap. Then it was only a short walk to the science building and her physics class.

Pushing the door open she saw that only half the room was full, the other half of its students still on their way. Professor Tanner sat at his desk at the head of the classroom, feet resting lazily on his desk. Alanna skirted around his desk and took a seat beside the window at an empty table. She placed her bag down beside her, drew out her physics book and then waited for the lesson to begin.

Alanna could see that they would be working in pairs and hoped that someone wouldn't leave Alanna working alone. A moment later the door opened and Anastasia Palmer walked in. The girl was an ice elemental and not someone that Alanna considered a friend. Anastasia took a seat at the back of the classroom, she too was alone. Alanna hoped that Mr Tanner wouldn't force any pair-less students together, Alanna would rather work alone than with an ice student. Instead of worry about who she would work with Alanna turned her attention to the instruments set up on the table, wondering what they would be doing today.

Lockie Porter

Lockie was still unsure what he had first period. He stood up, collecting his plate and gave a distracted wave to his friends,
"I'll see you all period two" He told them, referring to one of their compulsory classes. Honestly it was a wonder that he had remembered that... if only he could remember what he had first period.
He listed the teachers and classes as he took his dishes up, striking off classes he was certain he didn't have.

In the end, having reached no definite answer, Lockie was forced to return to his room. There, stuck above his desk, was a large class schedule. Lockie ran a finger across and let out a sigh of relief.
"Study Period" He said to himself, a loop-sided grin spreading across his face. He realised that he probably could have slept in later since his study periods meant he had the whole period to do whatever he wanted. He could sleep through it all if he wanted. But he knew that he would have to use it to catch up on assignments.

Lockie collected his books, stuffed them into his backpack and then proceeded to leave his room. The library was his destination and the walk to the library shouldn't have taken all that long. Only Lockie, as most students know, was easily distracted. A stray thought made him change direction, the drifting sound of music caught his attention a moment later and before he knew it he was on the opposite side of the school from the library, wondering through quiet corridors with little purpose.

It was as he was wondering down one such corridor that he caught sight of a figure quietly sketching in a window seat. As he came closer he recognised Xanthia. Or at least that's what he thought her name was. He hadn't really seen the younger girl around that much.
"Hi, what are you sketching?" He asked. His natural curiousity and friendliness meant he rarely suffered from shyness.

It didn't take too long for Marion to get to Mr. Tanner's class, however, she did take the time to make a journey out of the average walking through the hallway. After throwing out her devoured blueberry muffin, she made her way past several large glass windows. They let in a clear image of the snowy world outside, something that seemed quaint yet cryptic to the fiery girl. All of a sudden, she stopped. Marion was one for spotting details, and just out of the corner of her eye, she had seen a most vivid sight. Through the crystal-like glass, she could see a statue lying coolly in the winter wonderland that surrounded it. It's grayish-white detail shone brightly through the white snow. The precipitation that had covered the statue's head was now petering off down to the ground, making the statue seem clear and crisp.

Without hesitation, Marion pulled out her ipod and started up a fancy photography app. She snapped a picture, saved it, and added effects to the photo as she leisurely sauntered to her destination. Not only was she a riot, a rebel, and a child in spirit, but she was an artist as well. Not exactly a traditional artist who painted and sketched, but something a little bit different. She wasn't a photographer, but a crafter, a cinematographer, and a musician. Marion's art, whatever form it came in, wasn't complex, but indiscriminate. She did whatever came to her brain. She wasn't a planner or a schemer. Her art was free, much like her personality. At the moment, she had been hastily putting her time into making a birdhouse composed entirely of cardboard. It wouldn't be as good as using actual wood, of course, but it could prove itself to be just as big of a challenge. She needed something to paint on the side, and the photograph she had just taken would serve as her inspiration. Always in the corner of her mind, her daydreams of birds actually entering into her hand-made structure pushed her to keep working on the project.

She tucked her ipod deep into the crevices of her bag. Mr. Tanner was a metal elementalist, and he was particularly known for feeling and publicly revealing objects that were composed of the material. Marion, having a deep respect for the professor, wanted only to impress him, and would do anything it took to follow his command. She had this sort of dedication for only a few teachers in her life. The first being a private tutor who had home-schooled her during her circus days, the second being Mr. Tanner, and the third, Nicholas Youngblood.

She walked into the room, neither being late or early, and took a seat near the front of the class. Marion always loved sitting in the front. To her, it was where the most action happened. She took out a green-colored pen, and started to write the date on the top the paper inside her notebook. Her black notebook had the Batman logo printed over the cover.

Marion jerked up when she heard the sound of scraping metal. Beau Miller was on the floor right next to her desk. Although she had undoubted feelings for the boy, she couldn't help but chuckle a little. The way Mr. Tanner's face looked at Beau with an utmost discrepancy gave her a clue as to what had actually happened. Mr. Tanner's mannerisms were the reason why Marion had taken a liking to Physics. He was what she strived to be. "Dude, you alright?" she silently asked Beau, a little bit too silently to say the least. She would have helped him up, but Mr. Tanner began to speak before she had the chance to even extend her arm.

"Today we're experimenting with the concept of gravity." he said, grabbing his sunglasses that he had been wearing. With a smile, Marion subtly shook her head. Anyone with the courage to wear sunglasses during the winter was a badass in her book.
"You see gravity is the attraction of two bodies. You and the earth, Mr Miller and the floor. The larger the other body, the larger the gravity force acting on you. " He took a bite of his apple that had been sitting on his desk, and continued, "I hope you're not going to be spending all day down there Mr Miller, you'll miss out on our class."
Marion exhaled rather deeply, and stared at Beau out of the corner of her eye until he got up.

"I want you all to partner up and begin the experiment. By the end of the period I expect all of you to have done the experiment and began the report."
A partner project? Marion had no idea. She had always considered experiments a pain in the ass, but having a partner would at least make it more tolerable. The only hard part about a partner project would be picking someone who would be able to get the work done fast while also having a good time doing it...

"I expect everyone's reports to be handed in the day after tomorrow. Apart from Mr Miller, your report is due tomorrow."
The words that Mr. Tanner had nonchalantly said to Beau stabbed Marion like a knife to the heart. She almost choked on the air she had inhaled. She turned her head to Mr. Tanner, then Beau, then to her blank notebook page. Why would Mr. Tanner torture Beau on the day of the Winter Feast? What had Beau done to deserve that kind of punishment? She thought back to a couple of minutes ago. He was talking to Mr. Tanner about something when she had walked in...

Great; whatever he did, he had pissed him off, and now he was going to feel the wrath of Iron Man. (Marion's nickname for the physics professor that she sometimes called him by.) What would he do? What would she do? Most of the kids in the class were older than her by a couple of years. Beau was the only one close to her age. If they joined forces, she'd have to suffer his pain. But then again, did age even matter? She could just go up to someone and ask them to be her partner. It would be a piece of cake and a time-saver for her. But she wanted to help Beau. She was fairly smart enough in physics that she could guide him through his work. She wanted to ask him, but she didn't, but she did.
A scramble of decisions and thoughts swirling around in her head like a cyclone, Marion stared at Beau out of the corner of her eye, then looked down at her notebook, then did it again, and repeated. She'd leave Beau's fate up to his own decision. If he wanted to make life harder for himself, then his own choice would bring about his defeat. Marion sighed. Why was she freaking out over this like it was life or death? He was just some guy...

...No he wasn't. Sitting in her desk while motion surrounded her, she waited until someone would ask her to join them in the experiment. Her actions were completely going against her normal personality, as she was usually the first one to jump up out of her seat during a partner project. She folded her hands, looked down at her notebook, and patiently waited for someone to approach her.

"I hope you're not going to be spending all day down there Mr. Miller, you'll miss out on our class." Beau let out a long angry breath. He put his head against the edge of his chest, grumbling horrid things about Mr. Tanner under his breath. He inhaled a shaky breath as he tried to contain his anger. His secreted anger issues were coming out right about now and currently he was just trying to contain it. "Dude, you alright?" He had heard the voice of Marion whom of which was sitting near him. He relaxed a bit, inhaling slowly then sighing softly. He lifted his head and looked straight at her. "Yup, I'm fine. No broken bones but I am just a little angry and embaressed." He whispered to her then slowly got up out of his chair and moved to the one directly next to Marion. He fixed his books on his table then slowly leaned back in his chair as he glared at Mr. Tanner while listening to what the Metal teacher had to say.

Sighing softly he ran hand through his hair before folding his arms down on his desk and he shoved his head down onto his arms. This was the usual sleeping position for students, but he had no plans on going to sleep due to the fact that he had no interest in getting in more trouble or to get even more ticked off than he already was. Upon hearing that they were allowed to have partners he instantly thought about having Marion as his partner if she even wanted him as a partner though he understood if she didn't want to be his partner. "I expect everyone's reports to be handed in the day after tomorrow. Apart from Mr Miller, your report is due tomorrow." Mr. Tanner obviously couldn't hide the smirk that flitted across his face. This made Beau absolutely furious. "That is completely unfair!" He sputtered angrily. By this time his head had shot up along with his body. He glared at Mr. Tanner for several moments then shook his head as he bit his cheek form spitting horrible words at him in front of the rest of the students in this classroom. This was stupid, he wasn't about to give Mr. Tanner the satisfaction of him being angry. He nodded over and over again and slowly slid back into his chair. "Okay, fine then. You know what Mr. Tanner I'll get an A on it don't you worry. Who cares if it's due tomorrow? Huh? It's not like I am going to be doing much during the Winter Feast any ways." He growled then smirked right back at him. "Thanks Mr. Tanner you make me such a better man." He said, leaning back in his seat again and tilting his head up to show Mr. Tanner the proud smile on his face.

Be the bigger man, right? You can't let people get in your head like Mr. Tanner always tries to do with Beau. His mama had always told him to be the bigger man when it comes down to it so he was going to be the bigger man. It was fine, missing a Winter Feast wasn't that bad there was probably always going to be another dance or another Feast. Something along those lines. He popped his fingers once as he slowly sat up and took out the stuff he would need for the project and he set his stuff down on his desk. Glancing over at Marion he ignored anything else that Mr. Tanner had to say to him. "Hey, Marion," He said to her in a hushed tone. "Want to work together on this project? I mean I'd understand if you don't, but it was worth asking." He added with a shrug. He smiled at her a little, relaxing much more and now he was becoming his usual self.

Harmony wasn't even sure what was going on. All she knew was that they were having some kind of feud up in the front of the room and here she was already thinking about the order in which she would do her project. Shifting in her chair she yawned softly, waiting until she saw Beau finally sit down after snapping at Mr. Tanner. Beau was taking this a lot better than he usually did when people weren't around and it was just Beau and Mr. Tanner. She bit her lip gently then started to flip through the Gravity section in her book. She felt her eyes get heavy slightly, so she decided that it would be a good idea if she just rested her head for a little. Placing her elbow down on the desk she left an open palm where she placed her head as she scanned through the Gravity section. Soon enough she felt her eyes get heavy and before she knew it she was drifting off to sleep. Not on purpose but by accident because she hadn't gotten really any sleep last night. It was rare for her ever to fall asleep during class unless something was wrong or she had been unable to get sleep the night before. Usually by now she would be hard at work on her work while up and ready for anything that was possible.
