Liz isnt use to the warm and bright atmosphere, she's use to the busy city of NYC. Yet there she is laying on a blanket on the beach wearing a black blink 182 tshirt and green shorts. Headphones are in her ear blasting away so she can drown out everything around her. No one talks to her because of her weird point of views of life.

The sun had been up for hours and a little some one was still asleep.
I slowly open my eyes and suddenly yell and cover my face with the pillow due to the sun directly in my face. I roll over and lazilly look at the clock. The clock on my desk says 12:30pm "Holy shit!! I slept in!!" I quickly jumped out of bed and changed clothes. I decided to go to the beach and maybe surf but depending on the wheather.
I grabbed my snap back and put it on and got in my car and drove to the beach.
I got out and walked, I got there and walked to my favorite spot and sat down.

'Oh god, oh god, oh god, what if Max is dead, no, she can't be,' I'm still thinking this even as the person is in the doorway, I still cannot see them, as my eyes haven't adjusted. The figure looks female, but I'm not sure.

I stand up and stretch, I look around no one really isnt here. I shrug 'I guess I can leave my shit here.' I walk to the bathroom and see a girl cringing and panicking. I walk infront of her, 'hey you ok?'

"Oh, y...yeah, I'm fine," I say battling through tears, "alright, it's obvious, no, I'm not." I knew I had finally found someone to talk to, even in the time of depression.

As I was sitting there, minding my own bussiness the girl that was sitting only a few feet away from me got up and made her way to the bathroom building. I sighed to myself and let my feet sink into the warm sand. I grabbed my sun glasses and put them on and laid down.
A few minutes later I sat up and decided to get a drink. Thankfully there was a vending machine with all sorts of drinks, and it was the only one close enough and it was near the rest room's building. I sighed and stood up and walked to the vending machine. I took out my wallet and put the money in the machine. I waited about two minutes until I realized that the machine ate my money. I kicked it in hopes of it working, but all I got was a sore foot. "Shit!" I said rather loudly as I realized the full amount of pain. I then thought to myself who else besides me would kick a vending machine while barefoot? That's right...no one would...
I then decided to just go into the bathroom to just wash my face. I walked over and opened it. As I was mumbling to myself, I looked up to see that two other girls were already inside and were talking. My face went a slight red color and said, "S-sorry. Didn't know some one was already in here. Sorry.." I imediatly closed the door and walked away. I turned around and rested my upper half on the railing next to the staircase that led down to the beach. "God that was awkward..." I said softly to myself as I was waiting for the girls to leave since it was a two person bathroom with two stalls and sinks.
