Name: Rose Fatesign Truth
Age: Impossible to calculate. Possibly older than existence itself due to living through millions of stable time loops several times over.
Appearance: Rose, despite her average height of five feet five inches and thin build, manages to appear rather imposing, with long, slender limbs, broad shoulders, and a confident air, a constant smile upon her smooth, pale lips and a shimmering in her bright crimson eyes. Her spiky white hair is short, save for a single waist-length braided tail, and her skin is pale and well kept. Her figure is average, if rather skinny, and her average attire consists of an elegant red coat, as pictured to the left.
Personality/History: Rose is generally a rather cold and stoic, if honorable individual. She fulfills her obligations, and fights fairly for her ideals. However, even if she doesn't always show it, she has a bit of a temper, and if you manage to actually get her angry or embarrassed, her stoic mask might just crack a tad and show the repressed, lonely individual beneath.
Rose's past is a long and tedious one. In general, she was the enforcer of the First Ruler, being his personal assistant and bodyguard prior to her sealing within the book she currently resides inside. Using her powers to travel freely through time, she did her duty to the best of her ability. Over time, however, she developed emotions and feelings of her own, and although she tried to suppress them due to the obligation she felt to be the "perfect servant" she soon broke bit by bit, succumbing to sadness and loneliness, even if she does her best to hide it. After she was regretfully sealed, she did her best to continue her duties with the small amount of power she had left, causing her to work herself as hard as possible. When the Chosen appeared in the world, however, her priorities shifted. Her goals changed from maintaining order to locating the one bearing her book immediately, and serving him or her as she did her first master.
Affinity: Theoretically, Rose has the power to move at infinite levels of speed. Practically, however, that is rather silly, and not exactly worthwhile. In practice, she can move up to and beyond the speed of light, bending space-time around her and transferring herself back in time, arriving before she actually started moving. By moving at the speed of light, she can simulate the effects of freezing time. Alternatively, she could just move really, really fast. Her main application of her abilities, however, is to move backward in time, allowing her to create various stable time loops via which she can create future-past copies of herself, among other things. While theoretically, the applications of this power are nigh limitless, as Overseer of Time, she is unable to create temporal paradoxes, as doing so would destabilize the flow of time. Consequently, she can only rely on stable time loops to defy causality.
On another note, she possesses two weapons, each created to be "eternal." In practice, this makes them indestructible. The former is a sword named Joyeus, and, when slashed, the high speeds at which she moves cause a vacuum and cascade break of compressed air to be released in a destructive wave. The latter is a spear - pictured in the image above, known as the Lance of Longinus. It is made of a simple and well-crafted wooden haft, the head of which is a Roman eagle with a crimson-stained broad blade mounted on it. It has the power to remove magic from the space-time continuum, absorbing its energy and firing it back by cutting through its power. It is almost constantly obscured by shimmering and fluctuating waves of near-invisible power, causing it to look like it is contained within some sort of whirlwind.
How do the people know you?: A loyal servant.
