Appearance: Griffin Strongarm stands at five feet and eleven inches. He is tall with a muscular build. His hair is brown and he has green eyes. His hair is well kept and always neat. His smile looks almost fabricated as it gleams and he even goes so far as to have his nails perfectly filed and cut. and he typically carries a longsword at his side.

Personality: Griffin Strongarm is extremely cocky, thinking he deserves everything and the world is his tree to pick from. He believes that everyone is unworthy unless he deems otherwise and is unafraid to voice these beliefs.

History: As a prince, Griffin grew up having the absolute best everything, the best tutors, the best training, the best food, the best clothes and the best life. Upon hearing about Princess Aurica's coming of age, he has decided she would be very lucky to have someone like him as her husband, and decides it would only be destiny that he marries her. And of course, he believes that no one else in the land could possibly be worthy of Aurica.

Griffin

Griffin Strongarm had woken up at only the best inn in the area, marching up regally to the castle at the crack of dawn. He almost strutted about, pushing right past people as he made his way up to the front row of the crowed. His eyes fell on Devin and Rai, smirking at them, "Good day lads, here to see the princess I suppose? Don't even bother, the princess will bow to me before long. It will be a pleasure to add her among my various possessions. She should be very lucky to have me." He stood with even his very expression reeking of, "I'm better than you."

Devin

Devin looked down at the man who came next to them. He was shorter out of the three. His arrogance poured out of him. His nostrils flared as he tried to calm himself. He wasn't about to ruin his chance of meeting the princess before the race even began, but he did know that he was going to kick his ass before he went back home. "If you say so, kid." was all Devin said.

Rai looked down at the man too, raising an eyebrow. He shook his head and looked over to the redhead who looked like he was going to rip someone a new asshole. Rai let out a small laugh, he was going to enjoy this race. "Well, let the best man win."

Aurica

Aurica was ready just within the King's time limit. She had picked out a simple gold dress which didn't show much curve, which was exactly what she was going for. She made her way out onto the balcony, before the gathered crowd which had erupted in roars and cheers upon seeing her. The King announced, "This marks Princess Aurica's 18th birthday! And as such, she will be expected to find someone to marry in due time. To that effect, any potential suitors would be welcome to make a time with my vizier who will be opening a small stall to get some time with the Princess." He turned to Aurica, "Anything to say?" Aurica shook her head, "I really have nothing to say right now..." but despite the cold retort, she put on a warm smile and waved to everyone in the crowd.

Griffin

Griffin had pushed his way past most of the potential suitors, bragging to them that he would certainly be the one to marry the princess. As a result, a number of the suitors actually left in discouragement, only leaving about two dozen. He signed himself up the day after Rai and told the vizier, "Please tell the princess to prepare to be smitten on that day." The vizier rolled his eyes as Griffin strutted away, shooting Rai and Devin a glance that taunted, "Let's see you do something about it."

Aurica

Aurica was sitting in the garden with Griffin, much like she did with Devin. The difference was that for once, Aurica did not have much she wanted to say, she just stayed rather quiet and spoke as little as she needed to. Her dress was blue and offered no curve at all whatsoever, she clearly didn't want to give him any ideas. Griffin spent most of the time talking about himself and how she was so lucky to have someone like him even consider her.

This awkward silence took a darker turn when Griffin asked Aurica, "Why are you so quiet? You should grace me with your voice, it's the least you can do for me since I'm giving you such an amazing opportunity." Aurica shifted uncomfortably in her seat and squeaked out, "I-I'm sorry.. my voice is a little sore today..." Griffin laughed, "Oh I'm sure you'll live, besides, you'll feel better after a little kiss..." With that, he didn't even ask her permission before wrapping his arms around her and pulling her close. She squirmed in his arms uncomfortably as she stammered, "G-Griffin, please, I'm not ready to kiss yet..." He ignored this and came closer to her, telling her, "You're a stubborn little girl, you should be more... submissive. As my wife you'll belong to me after all." As much as she wanted to she couldn't scream, that would alert the guards and cause trouble, but anyone watching her should be able to tell she did not consent to this intimacy.

Griffin immediately composed himself and put his hand on the hilt of his longsword, snarling, "Why you..." But rather than draw it, he turned and left, shooting over his shoulder, "Watch your back, I'll teach you to mess in Griffin Strongarm's affairs..." When he was out of sight, Aurica turned to Rai, not yet ready to say anything as she put her arms around him and put her head on his shoulder, her body starting tense but slowly relaxing.

Aurica stayed quiet in his arms a little longer before saying softly, "Thank you for rescuing me from him, I don't think I would have been able to stop him if you hadn't been here. And because you were able to, now I don't have to answer to my Father either, as far as he knows the date was a success." She looked up at him with a grateful smile as she asked, "Say, did you have any other plans today? I only had him today, and with him gone, I'm free."
