Shimmer Doom had heard of the technological feats of the master engineer. Though she has never witnessed any of Widget's expertize...until now. Shimmer Doom was invited by the Alpha to attend Widget's demonstration. While she had better things to do, seeing actual weapons involved...well she couldn't help but find out what they are. To her surprise they were inventions intended for use against the Arlyne. While on different assignment, the Arlyne proved one of their more dangerous threats. Mainly because their territory is practically impenetrable by the Boraks. At least at first.

Widget's gadgets made it easier for them to access the waterways. Perhaps progress will be made on the Arlyne Front. The Alpha as usual was easily impressed. Though his mind is very simplistic in understanding. He cares little of what it is, or how it's made, only caring about how he can use it. He stood up gave a cheer. "Amazing!" "This will surely gives a better edge against the Water Pack!" "I'd like to see more of these in use of our soldiers." "Soon those waterways will be navigable!" He spoke giving his request to Widget. He turned to see Shimmer. "Ah glad you can make it!" "Not much of a display without my generals here." During his speech he switched from Doom to the other Boraks. "Well I'm off the misses has something for me at home!" The rather husky Borak spoke as he left.

The other Generals left except for her and another, Rowan Bane. Rowan spoke, "Excellent it's about time something went right." "So I can expect more of these soon?" Bane asked Widget. He was eager to led another assault on the Arlynes this time with potency. Shimmer only watched. She had interest in the young inventor as well, though she had a more long term agreement in mind. She waited for Bane to finish.

Rowan was quite pleased with the results. "I suppose you could see it that way." Rowan remarked to Widget's smug comment. He looked at the blueprints and called for some of his men to take them away. The Boraks entered and picked up the blueprints. "Careful with those!" "I need these devices out in the field, and I can't have em ruined!" He barked. The Boraks became gentle with the prints as they whisked them away. Rowan then looked at Widget. "Well that would be useful." "Send them to the barracks if possible." Rowan spoke as he began to leave.

"Hello Doom." He sneered. "Bane." She spoke. "Come for a device to help you fight...oh wait your not fighting are you?" "You need something to help speak for you?" Rowan then chuckled. "Trust me you would need that more than I." Shimmer remarked. Rowan only growled, "Well if you spent less time insulting and more time recruiting...we'd have some allies by now." Rowan spat. "Well if your quite done Rowan I have business to discuss." Shimmer spoke. Rowan only snorted, "I'll be finished as soon as I see you finished" Rowan spat. Shimmer then barked, "You'll never see such a day!" "Now leave my presence!" She shouted. Rowan only scoffed as he left her alone to Widget. Shimmer looked over to her.

"Excuse my...colleague." Shimmer spoke in a low growl. "You may have heard of me as I have heard of you." "Introductions aside, I am curious if you would be interested in...a business opportunity?" Shimmer spoke being direct. She hadn't much patience for beating around the bush. She awaited to hear an initial interest.
