The world around you is filled with typical high school drama, mystery and romance. Full of good times, bad times and even hard times, complete with all of life’s complications, uncertainty, pains and hatred. But there is also happiness, laughter, friendship and yes even love.
It is through this school, Brentwood College six young teens, three girls and three boys, learn about life, about themselves and yes, love. It is here they will decide if they will follow their own dreams or maybe find a new dream, one that will lead them to travel alongside with. Maybe they never had a dream to start with, but find that now they do.
Here they will find the real trials of life awaiting them. Will they travel a path separated from others? Will they travel down the path where they are always relying on others to get them through? Or will they travel the path where as a group they work together to overcome these trials?
Let us see what they choose.

The Story So Far... Write a Post » as written by 5 authors
Well the first day of school for Mina Strauss at Brentwood College. From the second she stepped on campus everyone stared at her. She had checked for any significant stains or rips on her pale pink tank-top and black skinny jeans, nothing. Even her black and white sneakers were clean. Well okay, almost all of her clothes had a few marks on them. Usually paint. But today Mina made sure her clothes for the day were free of any and all spots or stains.
She glanced up at the man walking beside her. It has to be him then. Her new guardian, Mister David Carter, English teacher here at Brentwood College. Mina adjusted the straps of her heavy backpack on her shoulders.
'I guess it is unusual to see a student walking around with a teacher on campus. But does everyone have to stare?' Mina thought to herself, keeping her head down while sneaking glances to the sides through sections of her hair.
Mina followed Mister Carter to the councilors office where he parted ways with a goodbye and have a good day to her. The first school bell wouldn't ring for ten minutes and already there were a couple of students here at the councilors office. Mina was only here to collect her schedule, find out where her locker was, and have the councilor tell Mina if she ever needs to talk to come and speak with them, blah, blah, blah. The usual. Mina was sure every councilor knew students would rarely come to them, unless forced to, but they still had to go through the whole speech.
The door opened to the councilor's private office and a male student came out, following behind him was a short, slightly pudgy and balding man. “Miss... Strauss?”
Mina stood up and began to walk towards the private office door, passing the male student who was heading out. The councilor held out a hand to stop her and pulled out a single piece of paper, with another smaller post-it note stapled to it, and handed it to her.
“My name is Mister Jerald Holt. This is your class schedule and locker number, as well as the lock's combination.”
Mina took the paper as Mister Holt turned to the student who she had been sitting next to and waved them to come into his office. Mina was clearly dismissed.
“Well, so much for the usual routine.” Mina muttered under her breath after the door to Mister Holt's office had closed.
Mina looked over her schedule as she turned to leave the councilors waiting area. 'At least I got all the classes I wanted.' She thought to herself. Finding her locker on the other hand, was beginning to seem impossible and there was only two minutes till the bell, that signified the beginning of the school day, would ring.
Mina held up the post-it note with the locker number written on it. “8, 9, 1... There is no locker numbered 891! There isn't any lockers past 475!”
Mina glared at the piece of paper and then sighed. 'Guess I'll be carrying all my school stuff with me today.' She slipped her bag off and continued to look at the post-it note, not realizing or seeing it was written upside down. 1, 6, 8.
Sebastian made it to school with all his things in his car that he packed in over night, no way was he planning on staying in that house any longer, this time he made plan to take place in a dorm or apartment. Fist thing was first, was to make plans about it with the head master or councilor. Finally making it to school he turned off his car and sat there for a moment, watching a girl with a pink tang top walk through the front doors. He didn't really take noticed at who it was, but he was just staring to catch himself back up to date and get out of the car. Once out of the car he lifted his arms up over his head stretching a bit as some girls came by waving at him excitedly.
"Sebastian! Hey! How are you?" One girl with red hair held her books to her chest, with red rosy cheeks and green eyes, her smile was from ear to ear as she spoke to him.
The other girl kept quiet, you could tell she was shy as she looked down at her feet hiding her red face behind her long black hair.
Sebastian smiled at them and replied in a gentle voice. "Hello Marry. I am doing just fine." He started to walk up to the school with his books in his hand to his side as the girls fallowed.
"Hey, I was wondering when ever you have free time if you could sign my picture of you! I saw it in the magazine last night! You look so great!" She chimed happy.
That's right Sebastian was a model for the weekly teen magazine in Brentwood's Town. He was also one of the best athletes as well. He did what he could on the sidelines to keep one of the best grades in school, just so he could keep in both of his hobbies and get by. He was a very busy, person and still found time to mingle with his friends.
He stopped and patted her red hair softly, with a light smile. "Of course I could, but right now I have to get going, try catching me during lunch."
She squealed talking her friend with her as she waved and yelled good bye to him. He laughed lightly to himself at her cheerfulness and walked inside the school to not only talk to the councilor bot to see if he could fine Tealia. Or someone he could make an escape to after talking to the councilor. But before he could do anything he took noticed of a girl talking to herself as she looked up at the lockers at to her paper in her hand. Her face was so confused he didn't know whether to speak up or just wait until she figured it out. It was the only thing he noticed, he saw how cute she was as she struggled to look around each locker.
“8, 9, 1... There is no locker numbered 891! There isn't any lockers past 475!” After he heard her shout to herself he laughed a bit and walked up to her slowly trying not to scare her.
"I believe you mean 168." He smiled, softly touching her hand to take the paper out of her grip and turned it right side up.
“A week today and it is not like I want to….I just…can’t deal with the nightmares.” She spoke softly, like always. Her tucked a strand of her hair behind her ear and sighed.
“What is this nightmare? You refuse to tell me about it.” Fran pouted. “I feel hurt.”
“Sorry….it is not something I want to talk about.” Tealia smiled and gathered her things. “I am going to head out and check up on things. See you!” Opening the door to the dorm room she waved to Fran and walked out. Making her way through the halls the morning hair hit her. She shivered and continued to the main building.
“So damn cold.” Breathing into her hands she hurried her pace. Making a five minute walk into a two minute jog. As she opened the door she heard a girl loudly proclaiming.
” 8, 9, 1... There is no locker numbered 891! There isn't any lockers past 475!’ Hurrying to the hall in which she heard his voice she peaked around the corner and looked at Sebastian touch the girl’s hand. Tealia could have been mad if Janice hadn’t walked over and saw.
“He is at it again I see…and with the new girl of all people. Not that I say this is shocking in any way shape of form.” Janice smiled softly at her. Of all the girls that was in the popular cliché she was the sweetest. When Tealia first came to school here Janice was the only one to tell her hello and offer her a helping hand. And after that that is when Sebastian started having a liking to her.
“Let him, his karma will soon come a running and kick his bare ass.” Tealia said and looked up. “I have no time to drown in such pity. Come…lets welcome the new girl. I have a feeling she is going to need saving.” Tealia let out a sigh. She has always tried to help people when she could, hence another reason why she was popular. She actually cared about her fellow students.
Taking Janice’s hand she lead her down the hall and over to the new girl. Eyeing Sebastian with a smile she turned back to the girl. “Hello! Welcome to Brentwood College! I am Tealia and this is Janice!” She nodded to her and then to Sebastian. “And I see you have met my boyfriend, Sebastian. I hope he isn’t giving you too much trouble. And if he is just give him the boot.” She let out a small laugh. “Please, if you need anything don’t hesitate to ask us for help. I promise we will help you to our most ability!”
He sighed in his head and smiled a bit to Tealia, as a light hello. Though he was about to find her after he was done with the Councilor, he'd never admit because he knew she wouldn't believe. And just like that she throws an insult to him. Typical, Tealia has become to easy for him to read after dating her on and off.
"....-I hope he isn’t giving you too much trouble. And if he is just give him the boot." Oh really? When Tealie was done talking Sebastian reached up and squeezed Tealia's nose softly between his fingers and wiggled it a bit. He took his hand away and messed up Janice's hair while patting it softly. "So much liveliness today." He pointed out with a fake smile that seemed real. One of the smiles he was best at doing most.
"Excuse me, if you could." Bowing his head a quarter of the way to the new girl he took a step back and walked off into the councilors private office, uninvited.
"Sebastian?!" Was all you could hear the councilor say before he shut the door a bit hard behind him. He Put his hand over the councilors mouth and leaned up against the wooden door, listening to their conversation.
Still wearing his clothes from yesterday, Kyle shamelessly walked out of the storage, giving the stares of the soon to start class the cold shoulder. Walking out into the Maclaran Plaza(sp?), Kyle placed a hand over his brow protecting his eyes from the early morning sun. He groaned and stayed motionless for a while, letting his eyes adjust to the difference in light. Looking around, he couldn't help but mentally sneer at how many people were all ready buzzing around at this ungodly hour. Trudging along, shoulders lowered though not enough to slouch, Kyle pocketed his hands as he headed now towards the dinning hall. The Cafeteria should have something to fill his stomach. The one thing he was looking forward to do today would require a good breakfast. He had gotten his hands on some metal material and some over used instruments. "Maybe I'll make a desk lamp?" He whispered to him self.
"I believe you mean 168."
Mina somehow suppressed the urge to not only jump at the physical contact, but also a cry of surprise. She originally glanced towards him and say thank you, but the words never left her lips. She was captivated by the way his hair looked like golden strands when the morning rays hit them, his beautifully sculpted face... But what really took her breath away was his pale ocean blue eyes, they all but swept her away literally.
'He would be beautiful to paint, or even just sketch... Maybe I—' Mina's thought cut off by a female voice coming towards her. Mina blushed and pulled her hair around her face to hide it.
“Hello! Welcome to Brentwood College! I am Tealia and this is Janice!” Tealia nodded in greeting then turned to Sebastian. “And I see you have met my boyfriend, Sebastian. I hope he isn’t giving you too much trouble. And if he is just give him the boot.” Tealia let out a small laugh and continued with her speech. “Please, if you need anything don’t hesitate to ask us for help. I promise we will help you to our most ability!”
“Hello my name—” Mina started to say quietly, but then the young man, Sebastian, had taken Tealia's nose between his fingers and gently wiggled it back and forth playfully. Mina watched as he then patted the girl, Janice's, hair.
"So much liveliness today." Sebastian smiled at the three girls before him. "Excuse me, if you could."
Mina tried to make her mouth work, to say goodbye and thank you as Sebastian gave a bow of his head towards her and then walked off, disappearing down the hall. Mina felt the heat of embarrassment and awkward silence around her and the other two girls.
'Name, tell them your name. Introduce yourself Mina!' Her inner-self shouted.
“Mina!” She almost shouted, then quickly covered her mouth with her hand and took a deep breath. “M-my name is Mina. Mina Struass. I-I'm new to Brentwood...”
'Hello captain obvious, of course they know you're new!' She cursed at herself in her head.
“Oh and uhm, no that guy, uh Sebastian? He wasn't giving me any trouble. In fact he helped me. I totally didn't realize the post it note was upside down and was reading the locker number wrong. It wasn't 891 it was 168.” Mina felt her nervousness rising, just as the speed of which she was talking was accelerating, making her trip over the words as they left her lips. “Oh and thank you for being so nice. I mean offering to help me out if I need anything. Also, I'm not trying anything funny, I'm not going to try and like, steal your boyfriend or anything, but I was wondering if it would be okay if I sketched him one day...”
Mina went over what just came out of her mouth and her eyes widened with shock. Quickly she put her hands up in front of her. “I just mean! Uhm, I am big into visual arts and do a lot of sketching and painting and stuff. And that guy, uh, oh Sebastian! He looks like a Greek God or something... I know vampires don't exist, but he is so beautiful, like the way vampires are in order to lure in their next victim so they can... Uhm... Feed... Yeah...” Mina trailed off.
'Well, way to go Minnie, now the whole school will think your a freak and a potential boyfriend stealer. Good job. Prepare for a very lonely and awkward first day of a new school.'
His hand was placed over his mouth so they couldn't hear him. The councilor was looking at Sebastian weirdly, probably thinking either this kid is drunk or something is wrong with him.
"So you can actually laugh like that." Councilor stated as he walked back to his desk, forgetting the fact he was about to leave his office.
Sebastian glanced over at him, not realizing it himself that he was laughing. "Ah yeah, I think it was lack of sleep..." His words trailed off a bit as the room fell silent for a long period of time, but the Councilor sat down in his seat and too some papers in his hands straightening them out.
"We have a new girl, this morning I was in such a rush I had no time to show her around campus. Her name is Mina, Mina Strauss. She will be needing help getting around school, so if you don't mind Sebastian, would you help me out and show her around? I could use the help, this year so,... so busy, that I might end up quitting. This old man can't do much more of this Sebastian." He leaned back in his chair and pulled his eyes away from his desk to look up at Sebastian.
Sebastian nodded to him after a while. "Okay, I can do that." Sebastian's attention was taken from him when Tealia started to talk.
Coming to a quick passed walk, Kyle was brushing passed the oncoming traffic of students by the lockers. His eyes shifted from side to side and back to front, for some reason or another he didn't want to cross his brother and it was often enough his brother passed here at this time of morning. Passing a two person clutter, he brushed harshly against one of the two girls, he drastically slowed his pace, turning him self to walking backwards position, he raised a hand about to say something about how they shouldn't loiter in the middle of the hall. Instead he just stood there for a moment in silence, dum struck for a moment, he gazed at a new girl he hadn't seen before. He gave her a long look over, until he realised the other girl was his fosters girlfriend. "Tch." He had met one of few people he didn't want to meet during this fine morning. Tearing the piece of bread from his mouth, he contemplated rather or not he wanted to have a chat or turn tail and run.
He didn't want to meet his brother, no doubt he wasn't face behind. "Sorry for brushing into ya, Fresh Bork-bun." He looked her over once more before taking a nibble out of his bread slice. "Chow." He didn't give much else, before turning and leaving. "DONT LOITER NEXT TIME BORK-BUN!" He yelled back once he was further down the hall, not realising that his bag had ripped, haven let slipped out a yogurt as he brushed passed her before.
The shy student walked around the lunch room. Akio never had anyone to really sit with, and he didn't like imposing on someone's table. These days, he usually went without eating lunch.
Eventually he gave and just walked into the halls. No one was gunna stop him. Okay... Maybe they were. Akio had a terrible problem when it came to this school. All the school's jock headed idiots decided that he was a good warm up punching bag for before and after their sports activities happened.
He tried to slowly walk away, but someone saw him.
"Hey, look! The nerd came to play!" One called, walked towards him.
"No... No he didn't." Akio murmured.
He felt a hand on his should as one of them gave him a harsh shake. Akio swore... He was going to die at this school
"You are so sweet." Janice said as she walked backwards away from Tealia.
"I learn from the best." And with that they went their separate ways. She could hear the jocks being loud and went to check what was going on.
"Hey, look! The nerd came to play!" A jock called out and she saw him give him a harsh shake.
"DAVID SIMMONS! I cannot believe you! Get! I swear if I see this type of behavior again I will get you suspended from your games." She yelled as she walked over to the boys, getting in between them.
"You wouldn't." He growled.
Tealia stood her ground, "You wanna find out?" She growled back. David backed away, scoffing at her before disappearing.
She turned around and smiled softly, "Acho? Akio? Sorry, I don't know you that well!" She blushed, "Are you okay?"
He moved a strand of hair out of his face and cleared his throat hoping she'd hear him as he slowly walked up to her.
"It looks like I was left in charge of taking care of you here. Come Come I will show you around, if you are with me you get a free slip from all your class to skip or be late." He took her hand and put it around his arm like a gentleman way escorting her before she could reject his hand was on hers n a friendly way as he walked off with her.
"Let's see where should we go first, lunch? I know a great place besides the cafeteria. It's only a walk around the corner." He looked down at her and smiled. "Don't say no, because you never know what will happen, you might miss out on something fun."
He stopped at looked at her, still keeping her hand on his folded arm. "If I ever make you uncomfortable, do not hesitate to tell me. That goes with anything else, if you need help, find me or don't know what to do you can find me. Don't feel too scared to come and get me at any time." He turned around and went back to walking with her, taking a step through the front doors he took her hand and helped her down the steps.
Akio watched as a really pretty girl saved him. Well... Now he really had no pride left. At some point he turned to him and smiled, "Acho? Akio? Sorry, I don't know you that well! Are you okay?"
Missing the small blush on her cheeks, Akio blushed himself. Except his was more noticeable.
"Uh... Y-yeah... I'm fine. T-thank you by the way..." He stuttered out, "T-that was very kind of you..."
He adjusted his glasses nervously. This girl was "Miss Popular"... So why would she bother to save him? He was at the bottom of the food chain!
"Oh. And it's Akio. Akio Ne-Kita." He said, giving a small bow. He mentally slapped himself. He always forgot that places like America and England and Canada never bowed when greeting one another.
His blushing made her giggle, "Akio Ne~Kita! Got it, uhm where do you go eat for lunch? I need to ask some questions." She adjusted her backpack. He was...adorable? Cute? Her eyes adjusted and a memory of home hit her. She was him once.
"Akio Ne~Kita! Got it, uhm where do you go eat for lunch? I need to ask some questions." She said, a small giggle dancing in her voice.
Akio rubbed the back of his neck nervously. It would be lame to tell her he never had anywhere to sit so he usually just skipped lunch and went to the library or something. But he also couldn't lie to her.
"Uh... I was just gunna skip it today, actually." He said, biting his lip. He was curious as to what she wanted to ask though. "But, um. What did you need to ask?" He wondered. He was shocked he was participating in a conversation this well. Usually he clams up and just can't say more than a few words. He stole a glance at the freckled girl. She really was cute. It didn't surprise him that she was popular. So why was she talking to him!?
"Sorry for brushing into ya, Fresh Bork-bun." Mina stood very still while the young man looked her over, then took a nibble out of his bread slice. "Chow."
Then he turned around and left, but once he was down the hallway a ways he shouted over his shoulder. "DONT LOITER NEXT TIME BORK-BUN!"
Mina noticed his yogurt fall to the floor and opened her mouth to call out to him but Tealia spoke up, pulling Mina's attention away from the fallen container.
"Hi Mina and you can draw anytime you want. I figured he was just messing with you since you are new. I had no thought of you stealing him. Well all you have to do is go to the office or ask around if you can't find me. I must get going, I hope you have a wonderful day!"
Mina watched as Tealia and Janice turned and walked away, leaving her feeling dumbfounded. 'What just happened..'
But before her thoughts could go any further than that, someone cleared their throat behind her.
"It looks like I was left in charge of taking care of you here. Come Come I will show you around, if you are with me you get a free slip from all your class to skip or be late."
Mina was still trying to figure out what on earth just happened between her and the girl Tealia and even the young man who lost his yogurt, as Sebastian took her hand and placed it his arm in an 'gentleman escorting a lady' kind of way and put his hand on top of hers before guiding her away from the hall. With quick thinking she scooped up her more than slightly heavy backpack and slid it over her arm and up onto her shoulder.
"Let's see where should we go first, lunch? I know a great place besides the cafeteria. It's only a walk around the corner." Mina blushed and looked away quickly when he looked down at her a smiled. "Don't say no, because you never know what will happen, you might miss out on something fun."
Suddenly they stopped and Mina looked up at him curiously.
"If I ever make you uncomfortable, do not hesitate to tell me. That goes with anything else, if you need help, find me or don't know what to do you can find me. Don't feel too scared to come and get me at any time."
Mina nodded at him in understanding and they began walking again, going through the front doors of the academic hall Sebastian took her hand and guided her down the steps. Then it dawned on Mina that she had been silent this entire time and she stopped on the steps.
“T-thank you!” She stammered and somewhat shouted. Embarrassed she let her hair fall in front of her face to hide it. “I mean, thank you Sebastian. For your kindness. I'm not really used to friendly people... At least not anymore...” Mina half whispering at the end and turned to look out at the campus. “People usually think I'm weird and out of place, even more so when... Uhm, just before I agreed to apply for Brentwood College.”
Mina let Sebastian help her down the last few steps and she blinked away memories and tears. “Life sucked back home. I don't like talking about it really, it was pretty... Bad.” Mina took a deep breath to calm herself and then smiled up at Sebastian. “So where's this awesome place to eat at, that isn't the cafe-- Oh that guy's yogurt it's still lying in the hallway!”
Sebastian saw her blinked away tears. “Life sucked back home. I don't like talking about it really, it was pretty... Bad.” Mina took a deep breath to calm herself and then smiled up at Sebastian. “So where's this awesome place to eat at, that isn't the café--" Just as he was about to tell her she jumped into a different conversation "--Oh that guy's yogurt it's still lying in the hallway!”
Sebastian let go of her hand and smiled kindly. "I am happy to be of help to you, and if you ever do need someone to talk to about your situation, whether you like to talk about it or not, sometimes it is just good to let it out, I wont mind listing. I have been told that I am a very good listener." He bragged a bit in a friendly way trying to crack a smile out of her. "I am sure he could always get another yogurt. But if it bothers you, we could go and get it before it gets thrown away." He started to step back up the steps in a slowly speed, just to casually walk. Him not knowing what he she means and I am sure if he did know, he would of just said. 'Don't worry about him.'
"I would be careful of some people here though, including myself. No one is as they seem." He chuckled softly, but his laugh was a bit off. "Don't let it alert you though, just be careful is all."
Lucky enough he'd gotten away from both today, for now. So why was he feeling so odd? Wasn't this, so far, an amazing day? Tch- I can hear the old man now, 'So even idiots can catch a cold?!' Dam geezer. One more night shouldn't hurt. I don't get to touch my stuff till later... A nap would help. I'll get Jock to wake me up, he's in my class right? Shouldn't be much trouble. S~not like he'll mumble something about were I am.
Ya, just a small one. Pulling out his phone, he set an alarm and sent a text to Jock. He didn't wait for a response, after all if his alarm didn't wake him then he really did need the extra sleep. If Jock did get his message then he'd be able to work on his project on time. It was a win-win scenario as far as Kyle was concerned. Not even finishing his last bit of bread, Kyle quickly dozed off under the partially shaded area of his personal hiding place(of course it wasn't too secret).
