Age: her true age is unknown but she looks around 20

Zanpakuto Name: Shukketsu Taikai (Bleeding Ocean)
Shikai Command: Tobikomi (Dive)
Bankai Command: Ryuudou Oite Keisuu (Flow in Numbers)

Katsumi wears an outfit similiar to a normal shinimagi cloak minus the fact that is is less draping and a little more skin fit. She accidently ripped the back off so she reverted to tying the sleaves around her neck and exposing her back. The material around her back is tattered and torn, showing the wear and tare of experience. The pants are shorter and reach up to her knees where they close tight around so they don't slow her down in battle. She doesn't usually wear any shoes but will occasionally wear the traditional shinigami footwear. The shinigami cloak itself is a dark golden. Katsumi's hair is usually down but when she is in a serious battle she will pull it up.


The above picture is the chinese symbol for TAINTED. Katsumi has this tattooed onto her right shoulder-blade to show any shinigami that even though she will still work along side them she is evil and could potentially strike at any moment.

Personality

Overall Katsumi has a very dry personality. She isn't very easily amused and doesn't enjoy it when she has to deal with weaklings. She doesn't ever truly look interested in anything. She isn't afraid to kill and will do it without a second thought. Once you get to know her she has a nice sense of humor and can be a hell of a lot of fun.

Equipment

Zanpakuto after Shikai Command:

It is a large black of water that will harden and soften when needed. There is no hand guard. The hilt is golden with engravings on it. The blade of water will bend and form and different shape that it wants. When she swirls it around in the air it will create a hurricane that can reach as wide as a large stadium.


Zanpakuto after Bankai Commant:

Very much like Kaien's, almost the same. It forms into Poseidon's gold tridant. On the other end it is a sword once again made of water. When she stabs the ground with the sword end water will burst from the ground. The staked end when pointed at an opponent will create either a large hand or a jet of water that will grap or throw them off their feet. Just below the three stakes there is a puff of blue material. Connected to that is a bell that she purposefull tied there to tell you when you about to be stabbed. She doesn't physically change other than a water crown that rests on her head.

Hollow Form [she has only turned into it twice]:

She wears her mask and almost looks exactly like herself except for the color change. Every part of her body, clothing and all, is white. The only colored part is her red hair that poofs up from behind her mask. As a hollow she is much faster and can preform Cero. There is also a drastic increase in her already amazing strength and reiastu. Other than the color change the only difference she has an armor that will spring up to become bone sheild, then desolve when needed.

History

While in the real world doing work with other squad members she was attacked and stabbed; the location of the stab took away her Shinigami powers. Desprate to have them returned to her without Soul Society knowing she lost them she used a technique formerly used by Urahara to give some brat his powers back. In the process she was almost turned into a hollow but do to being a captain could hold it off and gained her Shinigami powers back. Yet she also had that hollow inside of her who'd fight to get out whenever he wanted. Instead of returning to Soul Society on time she worked to supress it with a group of Vizard. She can now summon her mask whenever she wants to aid her in battle. When she returned to Soul Society they had relaced her, thinking she was dead. Distressed she returned to the real world in her Shinigami form and continued her duties to protect the human souls. Seeing that she wasn't giving up Captain Commander Yamamoto took her back in. She is free to move between the worlds whenever she likes but she is no longer a captain of the 11th squad. She locks up part of her reiastu by wearing a bracelet with a lock. It absorbs some of it so she doesn't hurt people with the massive amount of it.

The captain who took over for her was the captain that Kenpachi defeated. Soon after Captain Hope took over the devision. Katsumi doesn't get along with Kenpachi very well because both have such high ferocity during battle as well as an almost unlimited source of reiatsu.
