Name: Syra Adrovere though prefers to be called Sysy
Age/Age Appeared: 450/18
Gender: Female
Species: Vampire
Appearance: Picture is above~
Personality: Syra is polite at all times. She deliberately puts a wall between herself and others because she's not sure how to communicate her actual feelings. A person once told her that a smile held a thousand secrets, and she took the comment to heart. She has a gracious heart, however, and when she can she likes to help people, even other races if they're not trying to steal her food or hurt someone else she cares about.
Biggest Fear: That someone will set her on fire.
History: Syra was born a vampire in 1662 to a mother and father that were supposed to love her and her two brothers more than anything in the world. That wasn't the case, however, and as soon as she was old enough her father tried to sell her. Her mother wanted to try and stop him, but he soon quelled that resistance. The resistance her brothers had to it, was another story entirely though. It was because of her eldest brother Damien, that she was able to stay with her parents for her first 200 years. He allowed himself to be sold so that she could stay in their... Care. Her life was mostly uneventful, she stayed around the house with her mother, since during her "childhood," girls weren't really allowed to learn to read and write. She was taught, however, by her brother Riquer. In the early mornings when their parents were asleep he would teach her the alphabet and how to write. It was because of him that she found a love of writing.
Of course, being the immortal beings they were, they couldn't stay in one place for more than 30 or so years. Because of this, they traveled from Europe to France and even to China. It wasn't until Syra turned 300 that they finally settled in America. That was when her home life got a little more hectic. Her mother began to get more independant of her father, and he, being raised in much more brutal times, didn't handle it well. Whenever she would want to "make friends," or some other "convoluted idea," as he called them, he would force she, Syra and Riquer to drink a shot glass full of liquid gold. In order to protect the children, their mother became subservient once again. Syra didn't like that she had been forced to do so. Her mother had dreams, she should be allowed to live them.
So, Syra came up with a plan to get out from under her father's thumb. One night she snuck into the store room they had as their basement and filled a syringe full of liquid gold and hid it in her room until morning when her father went to sleep. As he often did in those days, he fell asleep on the couch, so she used her telekinesis to send the Syringe across the room and into his arm. However, in the middle of the process, the Vampire awoke and tore the medical equipment from his arm screaming for Syra's mother to come into the room. The woman obeyed, and he ordered Syra and Riquer to sit across from them as he forced their mother to partake in his blood. He forced them to watch as he killed her. All because Syra wanted her to be able to dream.
A few days after the incident, Riquer disappeared from the house in the middle of the day. Syra assumed that he ran away, and a week later after being beaten up by her father, followed suit. She's been fleeing from that man ever since, and because of what happened with her mother, she doesn't want to get close to anyone anymore.
