Sketch has always been a curious, creative girl, lugging around a sketchbook and a handful of pencils. She is slightly introverted, but isn’t too afraid of public speaking. During her free time, if she isn’t cradling a book, or drawing or sketching a new idea, she can be found out running. She doesn’t give up that easily, unless it’s a math exam, or any other school related thing. Rudeness typically isn’t in her system, and even on her worst of days, she tries to be as nice as possible, no matter what.

Wandering around, school to school, Sketch has always moved around a lot. Her latest move dropped her in the middle of New York city, and she hasn’t wanted to leave yet. Something about the city’s vastness, yet privacy, has kept her rooted still, even if her mom had travelled back to her family home. Now she lives with a few classmates, trying to blend in, act normal, and keep positive, even if the nightmares of her father’s death still terrify her. At school, she ignores the classes and the work, barely scraping by, only concentrating on the few art classes she’s enrolled in, and losing herself in the stories and literature.
Even from a young age, Sketch had always been a mythology nerd. She especially loved the European tales of dragons, the Japanese legends of heroes and demons, and the wonder and mystery of the Greek pantheon. She put these thoughts into paper, and turned almost every page she worked on a collage of mythical creatures, both old and new. Lately she’s dropped the whole thing, falling to the social pressures of the world to grow up. But she still went out with her friends every night, watching movies, or heading to some low-key art show. And for a time, this time, her life was going well.
