D E C O R U S

h e i g h t x // x5'3"

w e i g h t x // x105 lbs

h a i r x // xchocolate brown, reaches about five inches past her shoulders

e y e s x // xdark brown

o d d i t i e s x // xhas a flower tattoo on the inside of her upper left arm, which matches one that her mother has. She also has an inch-long scar on the right of her collar from the car accident, that she's strangely never been able to heal.

a p p e a r a n c e x // xAnnie is a sprig of a person, small and delicate in appearance, looking much like she could get caught in the wind and be sent stumbling.
This said, there is a liveliness to her, an aura she radiates; something warm and comforting, that has a penchant for engaging even the coldest of souls. Then again, when one's father is a patron god of the sun, perhaps the possession of such a natural warmth is a given.
Last but not least, their is her smile. Her smile (and she is undeniably quick to smile) is infectious, oft accompanied by a bell-like laugh or a mischievous crinkle across her nose.

h e a l i n gx // x Annie's talent for healing is easily the most prominent of her magical abilities, and she is unusually powerful in this area, even by demigod standards.

m u s i c a l m a s t e r yx // x with this ability, she has an innate proficiency with all musical instruments, as well as a lovely singing voice.

m a r k s m a nx // x this ability is very straightforward, in that she is quite simply more skilled that most when it comes to natural accuracy and aim

l i g h t m a n i p u l a t i o nx // x there's something Annie finds especially appealing about this power, in that it is certainly the 'prettiest' of her abilities. It is a popular party trick among Apollo children, and she must admit that there is something delightful in the beautiful apparitions her brethren can spin from sunlight.

d e d i c a t e dx // x Jo is nothing if not someone that perseveres. Rain or shine, she does not fall without getting back up again.

t a k i n g b l a m ex // x Jo often finds ways to avoid taking on blame. She doesn't throw blame onto people per-say, but rather onto the universe, the system, the Big Guy.

g u i l l e s sx // x she has so much hope and love for humanity and the world that she undergoes constant disappointment whenever realityisn't quite as spectacular as her rosy lenses have made it out to be. Not to mention she is overly trusting and more than a touch naive, resulting in her being a fairly easy person to abuse and manipulate.

a t h l e t i c i s mx // x she is a dainty thing that tires easily and carries all the brawn of a stick insect.

l i g h t w e i g h tx // x to put it quite simply, she cannot hold her drink. Alcohol tends to drain away her insecurities and amp up her confidence, leading to some very embarrassing moments.

xxxx empathetic xx idealistic xx courageous xx passionate x

she is a young woman constantly in concern for the world, forced forward by a resolute hope that she may be able to somehow improve it. Her life evolves around this one ambition, and as she aspires towards the perfect image of what she wishes the world truly was (and what she believes it has the potential to be) she is both never satisfied and never bored. She sees the best in people, her naïveté buffing strangers up like diamonds regardless of how much they shine unattended, and she hopes (hopes) that their potential for unabashed goodness is there. And when she's wrong, and it isn't, well... she's a touch despondent. A little hurt. A tad lost. For a time. And then she rises again, finding forgiveness somehow, for she does not hold onto grudges well. She forgives too effortlessly, some may argue, for whilst her stubbornness is fearsome, it often seems absent from keeping friends lost as just that. Lost. Apologies ease her all too easily, and sometimes such an apparently innate behaviour puts her heart at risk of only more hurt.

eager to laugh, she enjoys comedies especially so. Humour and wit are perhaps the most attractive traits in her eyes, for what is better than something that creates that gorgeous, bubbling sound pour from someone's lips? That makes said lips break into a star-studded grin, or a lop-sided, reluctant smile? Her own laugh tends to be just as unapologetic as her thirst for life, loud and wild and ringing like a bell. Thus, her own sense of humour is constantly present, as she does not fall ill to dourness easily- no, ever. Not in recent history, anyway. Even in her most sombre moments, she has a knack for putting on a smile, for keeping moods light and comfortable. She'd rather bottle up her problems than bring down a pleasant mood, let alone a pleasant person.

she is about as fearsome as a puppy, but as the story goes, when a dog has a bone... it does not let go. Resolute and determined, her sense of justice is formidable, and she shows no fear in vocalising it. She is a tolerant individual, one that does not show prejudice or judgement, one that views others on their content of character and nothing else (and even then she tends to be lenient), but one thing she does not tolerate is intolerance. Intolerance, with its wicked tendency to feed into ignorance and disrespect, to fuel fear and hate. It's a despicable thing that Jo wants no part in, unless that part is sentencing it to an existence of nonexistence, or, at least, pointing it out and condemning its wielder. She is extremely progressive in her views, of the mind that, so long as no one is being hurt, that people should be free to live how they wish to. And she'll stand by this forever, and argue with whomever wherever about it, despite her disdain for conflict in the most part.

empathetic and passionate, Annie has a strong affinity for people and their feelings. She likes to understand how emotions work, in all their unique complexity. And, usually, at least, she does quite well. She fits into the role of the philosopher in her study to simply understand, and her insightful views bless her with a specific type of wisdom. To reference the sci-fi genre she adores so much, she is more of a Yoda than an Obi Wan. Thoughtful, yes, but hopeful. Small and odd, but with the potential for profound sagacity when the moment strikes her.

she was born in Autumn but acts more like Spring, all cherry blossoms and passion and colour and youthful delight. Sometimes she seems a little young, for she is so completely and utterly unaided by reality. Everything is beautiful to her, every sound music, every sight a visual masterpiece. Her enthusiasm is something she takes no shame in, and she flies through life fearlessly, never checking to see if her wings work too focused is she on just how -oh how lovely- the sky looks from way up here.

H I S T O R I A R U M

Annie's mother, Lee Mirae, spent the first fifteen years of her life in the United States, only to move back to South Korea with her parents shortly before she turned sixteen. She had always been popular, blessed with that natural charm that is impossible to learn, and in both environments, despite the cultural differences she flourished.

This said, she wasn't necessarily the most studious of souls, and her time spent in the States has ingrained in her a spark of defiance towards her parents that was far more harshly frowned upon in Korea. Despite her undoubtable intelligence, she had a habit of skimping on her studies, and kept up a vibrant social life throughout her teen years, and, along with that, a strong affection for the Prince of Pop himself, Michael Jackson.

Thus, it was no surprise when, at twenty years old, Mirae decided to ditch what should have been studying for her upcoming exams in order to attend Michael Jackson's 1996 HIStory World Tour concert, getting aboard a bus to Seoul, armed with only a rucksack of basic essentials and her precious concert ticket.

It was there that she met him, a fellow fan, and fell head-over-heels in love. It was a temporary love, a fleeting jolt of affection for a man that radiated excitement and charisma, and they spent the concert singing side-by-side, thrilled by both the man on stage, and the person standing next to them.

Mirae returned to Busan with more than just a signed record, however, and by the time she discovered her pregnancy, the mysterious stranger was gone, leaving only fond memories in his wake.

Being a single mother in South Korea was a difficult task, and the judgement that Mirae was constantly faced with pushed her to return to the US to study less than a year after giving birth to Annie (named for a certain Michael Jackson lyric). When Mirae returned, it was seven years later. Annie was a lively and bright child yet to be jaded by the world's harsh realities.

In Korea, Mirae put her bachelors in education and English fluency to work, taking a job at Busan International High School as an English teacher. Together, she and Annie were content, and, although their family was small, they were happy with their circumstances.

Two years following their returning to Korea, however, Annie's true heritage began to reveal itself. It was a rainy day, and, from the car's speaker, Michael Jackson's The Way You Make Me Feel collaborated with the pounding on the windshield, further accompanied by the car's two passengers. Neither of them saw the other car, which, in its eagerness to get home, ran a red light and ploughed into Mirae's side of their car. Aching but conscious, Annie desperately tried to wake up her mother, who lay against the steering wheel, eyes slightly open and blood trickling from her nose.

When the two were examined by doctors, they were in awe of Mirae's seemingly untouched condition. She should have died on impact, and yet, here she was, alive and well, without even a scrape. It made no sense, but, with no way to explain it, they eventually had no choice but to move on.

It was a month following the accident that Apollo visited Mirae in a dream, shocking Mirae with tales about 'her father' that replicated what the stranger had described all those years ago. It was nonsensical, these stories, and at the time, Mirae had taken them all in with disbelieving bemusement.

Apollo finally visited Mirae herself following Annie's first, inexplicable experience with light manipulation at sixteen years old, revealing his identity and warning of the dangers of remaining in Korea now that Annie's powers had publicly revealed themselves. It took time to believe, but ultimately, there was no other way to explain Annie's bizarre abilities, and, four months following the visit, Mirae and Annie returned to the US. The next five years went decidedly smoothly, as Annie began studying education in the hopes of one day becoming a primary school teacher. It was only at her following her graduation, when some... thing rammed her car that the memories she had long since buried returned. She remembered the surge of power, of pleasure, that she felt. The way her palms shimmered as she begged her mother to wake up. The way colour came back to her mothers cheeks, and light back to her eyes, as the blood stopped trickling from her nose and the cut on her forehead sealed itself. It was a memory that made no sense, that was as fantastical as the dreams she'd had as a youth, of the shining stranger she felt inexplicably connected to.

The creature that attacked her car nearly killed her, only to be hit by a semi as it hurtled towards her. The image could have been comedic, if she weren't so terrified, both by her sudden realisations and the way the semi's driver continued driving as though he hadn't even felt his vehicle hit the beast.

The confrontation Annie had with her mother revealed everything, and, in acknowledgement of the danger Annie was now in, Annie was sent to a place where she would learn how to control her powers, and understand what being a demigod meant.

And, well, here she is.

Image Alex had never been to one single party before she came to Camp Athens. Their mother never allowed her to leave the house. Last years had been a blast, but this year was going to be different. Alex sat quietly as her brother took the chair across from her. "Are you okay?" He watched her as she managed to turn her attention to him. "..don't tell me it's nothing. When some of the campers left for the year, others stayed here. You didn't. You left me. Where did you go?"

Alex shook her head. "I'm fine. This isn't about when I left. Then, I just needed to be by myself."

"You know it's dangerous out there. Especially by yourself. Has Mason said something to you again? is that why you left?"
"No."
"Okay, so what's wrong now? Did someone else say something to you?"
"No!" she snapped.
"Al..."
Image "Just leave it alone, okay? Don't ask me any more questions." she stood up angrily. "Please." she added. It wasn't like her to shut him off without talking to him. He nodded once, his eyes looking down as he did. She gave him a glare before walking silently passed him. Maybe she shouldn't have come back to camp this year since everyone already thought she was a murderer. No one would possibly miss her, would they? Everything in her life had already turned upside down because of a stupid feud between two Gods. They just couldn't let things stay in the past.

Image He looked up, watching her head into her room. Hopefully, the party would make her feel better. Being around Duke and Wes always brought a smile to her face. Especially Duke. Oh, Ajax had noticed the way his little sister looked at his best friend. Was she acting like this because of him? Duke had recently found out about his little sister, and Alex had seen them together a couple of times without knowing who she is. Was she jealous? the corners of Ajax's lips began to lift upwards, forming a large smile as he looked away and hung his head. Laughing. He had never known her to be jealous, not even once, or she just managed to hide it well. Daniel had a new girl around him before he passed, but Alex didn't seem to batter an eye. He could go in there and tell her about Duke's sister, but maybe it would be way more entertaining for her to find out from Duke himself.

Ajax headed out the second he was dressed, but first grabbing his rucksack which sat near the front door. He decided to wear something casual: Party Outfit. As promised, he arrived a bit early with the music he had downloaded the night before on his computer. It was all taking place down near the beach again where a large campfire was sitting in the middle ready to be lit. Around it at a good safe distance sat four large log benches for everyone to chill out around the flames. The staff members were the ones hosting it all, so they were cooking on the BBQ tonight. They had containers filled with ice where the beer bottles chilled, and quite the buffet on a long table so people could help themselves to sandwiches, pizza, sausage rolls and every other party food displayed. The BBQ would be serving burgers and hot dogs with or without onions. A large variety for everyone to say the least.

"Hey, I was heading over to the bonfire. Did you wanna join me, I guess? Just offering you don't have to."

She had been supposed to meet Annie to walk to the bonfire, and there was a slight twinge of guilt before Lise responded to the 'Adonis' outside her door. A slight twinge, mind you, and one that was immediately followed by a shrug of, 'Oh, fuck it, she'll understand. And it's not like she gets angry at anyone anyway.

Such is why, when Dimitri knocked oh-so-shyly on door, and offered her oh-so-chivalrously some company for the walk, she replied with a zest and enthusiasm synonymous with her usual nature.

Just as he spoke, the door handle tore out of Dimitri's grasp, pulled away by the silver-haired demon on the other side. Eyes winged and expression wily, Lise looked up at the grecian with a wide grin.

"Oh, Adonis, you know you don't have to ask me twice."

Closing the door behind her, Lise smoothly slipped passed Dimitri, reaching the bottom stop before stopping and looking back up at him over her shoulder, and shooting him a look of, 'Coming?'

She had never been one to hem and haw, nor to mince words or play coy. She was Lise, after all.

She was impatient, and she wanted to party.
_________________________________________________________

Annie tutted at the internet message on her phone (thank Gods for wifi, what with the lack of phone service), more amused than upset.

sorry, tall, dark and handsome's come a-knocking, soooo~ c u at the bonfire <3

Annie was hardly shocked by the behaviour; she may not know Lise especially well, but it was fairly obvious that she was a fickle creature with quite simple desires. If anything, Annie admired that part of Lise that was so brutally unapologetic, so consistently decisive. Annie was the opposite, always sorry for something, and always troubled by the burden of making choices.

One choice that had not been difficult to make, however, was whether or not to attend the bonfire party. As someone who walked a strange line between introvert and extrovert, Annie did enjoy parties, and she was eager to get to know her fellow campers. Perhaps new faces were exactly what the camp needed, to start afresh, to rise from the ashes.

She hoped so, the past year had set a gloom over the camp, and even her unrivalled healing abilities could not remedy the wounds left by 2017's terrible events.

Arriving at the edge of the party, she searched the crowd for a familiar face, and spotted it almost immediately. It was hard not to notice such a face, considering how remarkably lovely it was.

Walking over to Kalani and Adrianna, the demigod grinned, offering a double wave.

"Hey! ... Woah, well, you guys look amazing."

"You are your mother's daughter and I'm definitely borrowing that outfit sometime." It was a cute outfit, but more on the simple side than Adrianna was used to. She wasn't about to tell Lani that though. Little lies like that weren't uncommon for Audrey, a curse of being one of Hera's children. Well, what Kalania doesn't know won't hurt her.

The two girls held hands as they walked towards the bonfire. It was something the two usually did together. Adrianna never thought of it as something romantic, more of how you'd hold hands with a sibling. Some campers have commented on it, but a glare from her silenced them. It wasn't like Adrianna was annoyed at the thought of being considered homosexual by the campers. The fact that two girls couldn't be friendly without thinking something else was happening was rude. Why do people always make assumptions? Speaking of homosexuals, she noticed Nikolaos had arrived. He's the little brother she had always dreamed about and the two got close within their first week at camp. His sweet yet awkward demeanor was so adorable. While he hadn't acknowledged it himself, Adrianna picked up on his sexuality. Obviously, better than Nik since he didn't even know. Adrianna didn't know how to approach the topic, but knew she'd try her best for him. Adrianna gave him a wave and her best grin.

"Hey! ... Woah, well, you guys look amazing." Cue, another cutest camper! The fact that Nik and Annie were siblings seemed too perfect. They're the kindest people at camp and Adrianna was proud to say she got along with both.
"I wish I could I pull off layers like you can! You look absolutely amazing!~" Yes, Adrianna may have been exageratting, but the girl did look cute. "I thought Lise was coming with you- Ah I see now." The appearance of Lise and Dimitri didn't go unnoticed by Adrianna. Call it a child of the goddess of marriage thing, but she could tell the different between potential couple and two friends. It wasn't really a power, but Adrianna will gladly claim it is. Interesting combination the two of them... One of the biggest personalities at camp with the one with the least personality. Something she'll catalogue for later, or gossip a bit about. Probably both.

The bonfire was getting more and more crowded. Music was playing, food and alcohol being served, and, Adrianna's personal favorite, many attractive people. Adrianna was fine just hanging out with the girls, dancing. However, she wouldn't turn down some TLC from an interesting guy. So far, nobody was worth her attention. She had plenty offers, some more pushy than others. One guy thought bringing her a beer meant she had to dance with him. A quick nod of her head and that guy suddenly decided he needed to eat. Influence is such a great ability. One guy did make her wonder. He sat on the outside of the bonfire, frown on his very attractive face. He looked like a challenge, something Audrey couldn't ignore. "Girls, I'll see you in a bit. I found a challenge, byyyye." With her farewell, Adrianna went towards Mr. Hughson. She was aware of his parentage and the history at the previous camp. Was it potentially dangerous? Absolutely, but she doubted he'd try anything at a crowded party. She quickly grabbed two, cold beers from a cooler before approaching.

"I'm pretty sure parties are for having fun, Mr. Frown." Adrianna teased, holding out the beer to Mason. "Maybe we need to loosen you up." She let a girlish chuckle, battling her eyes.

Draining the bottle he held in his hand, Finley looked over at the partygoers once more, boredom creeping up on him. Gwen and Nik still stood together, chatting away. Finley decided maybe he would approach them, before his eye is caught by someone else.

He didn't recognise her but she stood alone, just out of the way. Her eyes grazing over each person as though she was waiting for something to happen. Swallowing his last sip of beer, Finley takes a deep breath - he wasn't used to approaching other people, in fact, usually Finley liked to steer clear of others.

However, this is a party after all and if he can't be sociable here, where can he. Turning to the drinks table behind him, Finley pops the cap off of two more beers, the cool bottle a comfort against his increasingly sweaty palms. Gods, why was he so nervous.

Sure, she's beautiful, but just the simple fact of approaching someone, anyone, was what caused Finley's stomach to turn. Shaking his head slightly, Finley resolves to do this one thing. If he doesn't talk to anyone else tonight, he will talk to this mysterious girl.

Setting a small smile on his face, in the hopes that he can look friendly, Finley walks the short distance over to where she stood. Still alone, still watching everyone else. Clearing his throat, Finley extends a hand which held one of the beer bottles, "Hey I, um,
" He begans -not the smoothest start - "I got you a beer."

Shit, what was that? He didn't even introduce himself, just shoved a beer on her. What if she doesn't even drink? Oh Gods, this is why he doesn't talk to people, Finley thinks. Mentally, Finley kicks himself but outwardly he doesn't let the smile on his face flinch for a second, his hand still outstretched. Hoping she took the beer so he'd be free to head back to his cabin and never speak to anyone again. This is what happens when Finley, the notorious recluse, tries to make friends. It doesn't go well.

The two girls reached the bonfire in a matter of minutes, fingers still entwined. It was more of a subconscious thing that Kalani did and she certainly never meant it romantically. Just like she might grab Wes' hand to drag him to see something, taking Adrianna's and pulling her along to the bonfire meant nothing more than Kalani was excited and wanted to get there now.

Just a short while after they had arrived, so did Annie, greeting them with a, "Hey! ... Woah, well, you guys look amazing.
" Kalani giggles, sending her a smile in the form of a 'thanks' before grabbing Annie into her arms for a tight hug.

Finally releasing the girl, Kalani steps back to assess Annie's outfit, "You look so lovely!" She beams, excitement bubbling up in her voice. Kalani couldn't be happier, surrounded by her two very best friends at camp. Of course none of them had been there long enough to be actual best friends, but it had been surprising how quickly these three had taken to each other. Kalani had always been good at making friends, and it seems that only a short while after arriving at the camp, she had managed to do just that.

"I thought Lise was coming with you- Ah I see now." Kalani follows Adrianna's gaze to where Lise stood, alongside Dimitri. Oh. Kalani's smile falters for a fraction of a second, before she places it back at full force on her face. "They look cute together." Kalani forces out, catching Lise's eye and sending her a wave as she does so. Shaking off any negative emotion she may be feeling.

The girls chatted and danced along to the soft music drifting throughout the bonfire for a while, until Kalani noticed someone catch Adrianna's eye. Before the girl could tease her about it, the daughter of Hera opens her mouth. "Girls, I'll see you in a bit. I found a challenge, byyyye." Kalani laughs softly and waves her off, watching as Adrianna makes a beeline for Mason. That would be interesting.

Kalani would be content to just sit and watch whatever was about to happen unfold, but instead she turns to Annie, a wry smirk on her face. "Let's play a game," She whispers to the girl before she turns away to face the rest of the partygoers. "Hey, guys," Kalani calls out in an attempt to get all their attention.

She then waltzes over to the drinks table, picking up the bottle Finley had just placed down. "Spin the bottle anyone?" She suggests, her smirk growing into a full fledged mischievous grin. She knew some of the elder students would probably sit this game out, but Kalani couldn't think of a better way to get to know her fellow newbies than by kissing them!

Creating a circle of people just next to the fire, Kalani heads back to Annie and squeezes her hand, "Come play." She whispers, before taking a seat for herself in the circle and placing the bottle down in the middle of the group.

Spying Gwen and Niko standing a couple feet away, Kalani calls out - "Hey you guys, wanna join?" Attempting to get as many people involved as possible. This ought to be an awful lot of fun.

"I thought Lise was coming with you- Ah I see now."

Annie didn't need to turn around to know who Lise was with. 'Tall, dark and handsome, had been clue enough. Instead, her attention turned to Kalani. Catching the glimmer of sorrow on her face, Annie frowned in concern, and looked over to Lise and Dimitri.

Suddenly, the sight was somber instead of entertaining, and Kalani's, "They look cute together," incited a troubled look rather than a smile from the daughter of Apollo.

As it always did, the concern settled in her mind, and even Adrianna's 'challenge' did not work to eradicate it. It was comfortable there, now, and Annie feared its lingering, not in herself but in Kalani.

She'd always had it, this tendency to overthink things, to fret and worry over others rather than herself. Annie was ever the altruist, and she empathised so fiercely with other people, that it was hard to even escape their emotions, let alone ignore them.

Not that she ever wanted to, for it was in her nature to care.

Lise, on the other hand, seemed blissfully unaware of the tension, and grinned wildly when she caught sight of them, waving eagerly before cocking her head towards Dimitri to ask,

"You know Kalani and stuff, right?"

She barely waited for a reply before marching over towards the trio, breaking into the circle slowly being formed as her eyes lit up in eager anticipation.

"Did I hear, 'spin the bottle'?"

Annie, meanwhile, blinked a couple times, perturbation touching her features as she considered the game at hand. Kalani's gentle squeeze of her hand brought her out of her awkward anxiousness, and she shrugged before smiling with resolve.

"Sounds fun."

She smiled at Gwen and Niko, abandoning her apprehension in favour of cheer, waving them over just as Lise sat down inelegantly beside Kalani, shooting Dimitri yet another you coming? look as she pointedly slapped the seat beside her.

The male would wave towards Gwen, his turquoise orbs gleaming towards her. He would giggle a bit, before beginning to speak.

"Ummm, I'm doing great!!! I'm kinda nervous though, it's my first 'party'." the brunet spoke, before taking a sip of his sprite he had gotten just a few seconds before Gwen had arrived over towards him. He would smile before playing with his jacket a bit, and speak again. "I just hope I don't mess it up, by being weird." the male spoke puffing out his cheeks. He was slightly bothered, by what one of the campers had said about him his first week at Camp Athens, but essentially blew it off. He didn't think he was weird, he was just....special. As soon as he ended his comment, he heard a voice speak.

"Spin the bottle anyone?"
Kalani's voice rang in his ears. He would look towards Gwen with a pleading look, and begin to drag her over there. He was determined to be normal, and he had never played spin the bottle. He learned that it was a common teenage experience that most people go through in high-school. Not really growing up around other kids, Nikos was determined to play this game. The boy would sit across from his half-sister and would give her a smile looking over to Adrianna as well, smiling and sending a small wave.

When Mason took the beer from her hand, she knew she was in. Especially once he smiled. "My nicknames may suck, but they got you to smile." Adrianna took a swig from her beer, enjoying the taste."And I'll only take advantage if you want me to. I like my guys sober normally, but I can make an exception."

Adrianna let out a soft laugh before taking a brief glance around the rest of the party. It seemed like most of the campers had arrived. She had heard Kalani talk about spin the bottle and Audrey never missed the chance at a party game. Hopefully, Mr. Mysterious next to her would join in. There was a chance, but some campers didn't like Hades's son. Being the son of the god of death can be terrifying, but Audrey wasn't worried. The last thing he would do was kill somebody at a public event. Her love of attractive men could be her downfall with this one.

Audrey could feel the eyes on her as the circle for spin the bottle grew. It was both flattering and a bit annoying. Her minor popularity at the camp was fun and being the center of attention was even better, but it can be difficult when she's trying to do something. Mason being the current something. None the less, she couldn't leave her peers waiting. Seeing her brother sit down only added to it. Mason must've picked up on it too. "I don't think they're gonna start without you." Audrey put on a playful pout. "The curse of being loved." She joked. "Why not join in? I thought parties were about 'losing inhibitions.'" Throwing his words back in his face brought a huge grin to her face. "Plus, you might get lucky." Audrey left before she could hear his response.

Adrianna sat next to her brother, making sure to sit ladylike. Flashing any of these guys was the last thing she wanted. The group was still growing, adding the Zeus siblings and a few others. Adrianna tried not to beam when she noticed Mason decided to join. Maybe tonight would go her way. Audrey leaned onto her brother, whispering in his ear. "So, who do you want to land on you?"

Dimitri didn't hesitate to follow after Lise, trying to keep in step so he wouldn't fall behind. Dimitri wished she shared her excitement at the idea of the party. All the campers looked like they were having fun as he approached. He saw Theo acting as the camp bartender. Dimitri made a mental note to go see what he was serving later. Some alcohol might do a bit of good for him, as long as he didn't drink too much.

Dimitri listened as Lise talked, nodding and making a rare comment if it felt necessary. The demigod liked to let the other campers talk and Dimitri's negativity wasn't always a great conversation starter. He liked listening to Lise talk. It was fun to watch her talk so animatedly. Dimitri always found it refreshing to find people who had such high energy like her, maybe it was partly due to balancing out his own lack of energy. Who knows?

"You know Kalani and stuff, right?" 'One of Aphrodite's children, I believe.' Dimitri thought. He noticed the dark haired girl standing over near Annie and Adrianna. He knew of the trio standing in front of him. He enjoyed their company, but he wouldn't say he was especially close with any of them. The girls were nice, Annie the most. He nodded at the group of girls, noticing a bit of sadness in Kalani's eyes when they approached. She seemed happy whenever the two interacted before, similar with Lise. He'd have to ask about that later.

Hearing about the game 'spin the bottle,' Dimitri was intrigued. He'd never played the game, but had heard of it. Callie explained it to him once when he saw it on television for the first time. On television, the game usually forced two people who liked each other but wouldn't admit it to kiss, something Dimitri never quite understood. Why force someone to kiss? It didn't sound like fun. Despite his dislike of the game, Dimitri took a seat by Lise. It didn't hurt to be involved and maybe nobody would land on him. Although, he would mind if the genius beside him landed on him. "Shall we begin?"

As the number of participants in Kalani's little game begun to grow, as did the excitement bubbling in her chest. Ani had always been an excitable girl, but nothing got her quite as animated as parties - specifically party games. They always made things interesting. Glad to see Annie come over and sit herself down with her brother who had also just joined, Ani sends her another smile, her tongue poking out from between her teeth, something she did when she was excited.

Lise is next to come over, sitting right next to Ani, and while the smile never wavers on her face, Ani can't help but think that there's no way she's gonna get to kiss Lise now - not when she's sitting right next to her! For such an intelligent girl, Lise had been pretty oblivious to Ani's little crush on her. Lise is quickly followed by Dimitri, who she is sure to send a semi-sincere smile to, after all, he didn't know how Ani felt.

"Suggester spins first, right?" Ani is startled as a deep voice speaks to her out of nowhere. She'd never expected Mason to join, but Ani knew that he would make the game extra intriguing. Especially since Adrianna seemed to have her sights set on the guy. "Mason, I didn't realise you were a seasoned pro."
She teases, raising an eyebrow yet knowing full well that it was unlikely Mason played this game often; but who knew, the guy seemed full of surprises.

As she is about to spin the bottle, Ani's attention is caught by Wes and Trinity walking through the clearing and into the party. Of course, her big brother had never mentioned his real feelings for Trinity to Kalani - they'd only just met and were still trying to get to know each other, so their love lives never really came up - but it would take a very oblivious person, and an especially oblivious child of Aphrodite, not to see the chemistry between them. Or at least see how Wes looked at her. Attempting to catch her brother's eye as he walks over to the snack table, Ani sends him a little wave.

"Shall we begin?" Another male voice brings Ani out of her thoughts. Oh crap, she'd gotten caught up in seeing what Wes was doing she'd almost forgotten to take her turn. Laughing softly, Ani nods and turns back to the group, looking at each new member. She'd managed to draw in both old and new campers which delighted Ani, hopefully there would be some proper bonding going on tonight so that everyone got to know each other a little bit better - or at least got to know the inside of each other's mouths a little better.

Hand on the bottle, Ani gives it a strong spin, her eyes glued to it as it began to slow. Oh Gods, who was she about to kiss. Ani's heart pounded in her chest as it passed Mason, then Sylas, spinning past Niko and finally, it landed on Annie.

"Oh, easy!" Ani beams, jumping up from her seat and bounding over to where Annie sat. "Don't worry, I've been told I'm a great kisser." She giggles, leaning in to softly peck Annie's lips. She wasn't gonna go in for a full make out or anything, not with one of her closest friends. That would probably make things just a little awkward. Instead, Ani opts for a sweet little kiss, before she gives Annie a jokingly flirtatious wink and heads back to her seat.

Eyeing up the group, Ani tilts her head to the side, "Right, who's next?" She ponders, before turning to look at Lise who was sat next to her. "Guess it's you, Lee!" Clapping her hands together in glee, Ani sits back, waiting for Lise to take her turn.

Image Adrianna caught his eye and he rolled his eyes playfully. He was sure it wouldn't be too bad, wherever the bottle may land and where it wasn't too bad it could only be better. So yes, he joined to get lucky and help lose those inhibitions.

"Mason, I didn't realise you were a seasoned pro," Kalani replied and he shrugged with a smirk.

However, seeing Alex join, Mason regretted it instantly. It could be the worse and he didn't care about the damn party or game, he wasn't going near her. Behind Alex was an equally as bad sight, Ajax and Andy having a little heat-fest. Golden boy always did get what he wanted.

Observing outside the game, he missed Kalani's and Annie's kiss, he only saw Kalani return to her seat, but he figured it must have been brief because he wasn't looking for that long. He opened his mouth to consider arguing its eligibility, but he didn't want to have to french someone he'd rather not, all to make a point. And Annie definitely seemed a delicate girl to be light with.

The daughter of Zeus was so restless, she couldn't even sit there long enough to wait for her turn before demanding a turn after Lise's spin. Mason scoffed. Everybody had to bend the rules for "queen Alex" as usual, or so she expected.

His attention shifted to Trinity and he was as surprised to see her at this circle more than she was him. He had to do a double-take.
“What brings you to this fine game?” she asked.
"The chance of kissing any one of my fine looking camp acquaintances."
“Oh for fu-” Mason's eyes widened a little at the burst and how firmly she bit her own lip. If it had been a moment longer he was convinced she'd draw blood. “I'm not interfering with something here too am I?”
"Trinity, there's always room for you," he promised her lowly. "You're my number one girl and I wouldn't replace you, not like others do." Mason placed his hand over hers in the sand. It might have made him lose some of his appeal and reputation with Lockwood, but he promised himself last year that he couldn't lose Trinity. He wouldn't.

All around the warrior princess was losing people, not in death but life which was worse. Mason looked over his shoulder to Alex and Wes pointedly. "You and me, we got to look out for each other and I mean that," he whispered leaning towards her. "Andy's a good girl, we both like her and count her as a friend but if we were dying in the field of battle, she'd choose Ajax. Love of her life. Ajax would sooner let you bleed out too. No one is gonna pick us. Not your brother, Wes, Theo." He gestured to the hunter that joined the circle. The dude practically had heart eyes for Gwen. Last year, Theo gave Trinity any time of day, there truly was nobody he was more committed to than his big crush, but things had evidently changed and Trinity probably saw it as one big demotion.
Elias, he didn't know a great deal about, but he couldn't see him rushing to his half-sister's aid. Preferring to fight and all.
And Wes, he was infatuated with Trinity, sure, but he could hardly save himself. And Trinity and Mason both knew he didn't need a bottle to kiss Alex.

He put his hand back on his lap, watching the bottle. "I'll always have your back."

There was always this strange concoction of anticipation and dread with games such as spin-the-bottle. Every spin egged on by thoughts of both 'please let it land on...' and 'please don't let it land on...' There was a degree of fate (or chance, for the more realistic) that made each spin something of a thrill.

Annie hadn't played it many times before, and her last memory of it was as a teenager, with a boy whose eagerness combined with his lack of experience made for something less than pleasant.

As the bottle twirled, she hoped the best for Kalani, as she always did, and when it landed on her, she smiled knowing that Kalani would have no such issues, and nor would she. Such thoughts were reaffirmed with Ani's reaction, as the latter girl responded in a light tone,

"Oh, easy!"

Annie giggled at her 'great kisser' comment, and as Ani's lips touched Annie's own, the daughter of Apollo felt no embarrassment or concern, completely comfortable with her company and her kisser.

"Guess it's you, Lee!"

Annie leaned back slightly in her seat, looking at Lise expectantly, only for Lise to raise an eyebrow in a questioning look.

"Oh? I thought it was whomever the bottle landed on went next? I'm hardly a stickler for the rules, but I'm not a total anarchist."

She shrugged, her usual smirk reappearing on her face. "But if you insist."

Her numerous silver rings glittered in the firelight as she gave the bottle a twirl, and her smirk remained as the bottle spun once, twice, thrice, before finally landing on Trinity. Her eyes flicked up from the bottle, and she shot Trinity a flirtatious look before leaning across the bottle towards her.

"Xena, my love," She tapped her lips with her index finger, "You got something for me?"

Gwen's eyes followed the bottle as it slowed and eventually stopped on Annie. "Oh easy!" Kalani spoke and planted a quick kiss on the Annie's lips. Maybe I'm overthinking this... Gwen thought as she shifted nervously in the sand. If Kalani thought it was a breeze why couldn't she?

"Hey...I'm a little late to the beginning, hope you don't mind an extra player," Gwen looked up to the ever-graceful Emery as she squeezed into the spot next to Gwen in the sand. She was grateful to have another one of her closer friends for more support in the circle. "Are we having fun tonight, Gwen? Hi, Nik,"
Emery looked like she had more on her agenda than just playing the game and making small talk, but Gwen decided not to elaborate on her suspicions. "I was until Nik dragged me into the Satan circle. I'm not good at these things Em, I'm going to look like a beached puffer if I have to kiss anyone... a beached puffer!!" She whispered to the girl, quite aggressively. Em obviously didn't take her plea for help seriously as she let out a quiet giggle and nudged Gwen in the side. "If you had to choose someone here to kiss, who would it be?" The question completely blindsided Gwen as her cheeks burned a rosy color. "What? I don't know -" It was partially true. While she trusted Emery, she was too embarrassed to just blabber away with all the campers she found attractive, especially with one.

However, her eyes deceived her as she couldn't help but survey the circle. She didn't even notice that he had joined the circle. Her eyes lingered on Theo for a mere moment, before she realized she was staring and looked back at the sand. She had noticed the charming son of Artemis the second she had arrived at camp. On the outside he was fun and endearing, not to mention incredibly handsome. However, there was something else there that Gwen couldn't quite figure out, but she noticed it. He seemed a little strained sometimes, like he was holding a lot of stuff in, she couldn't imagine what he had gone through last year.

"Xena, my love, you got something for me?"

Lise brought her back into the moment, and she turned abruptly to Em trying to put on her best poker face. She couldn't exactly reveal to Emery that Gwen would probably want to kiss her newfound brother. Awkward, right? So she tried avoiding the subject altogether by directing it back at Emery. "That's like asking me to pick a favorite food, I can't chose. I mean, who would you pick?"

Dom watched the girl stumble through the uneven sand in her broken heel, his eyebrow still raised in a state of amusement. As his eyes followed her he noticed another girl sitting in the sand. And she was staring. At him.

She broke eye contact quickly and looked back at her book, when it clicked. The daughter of Eris, the same on he had bumped into earlier. He was slightly comforted to see he hadn't entirely damaged her book, but it looked like the universe had other plans. The tide began to pick up, and he watched as the water reached the edge of her heels startling her. She scooted a couple inches back, however, it wasn't enough to escape the tide.

He stood rather abruptly and took a couple steps towards her, and flicked his wrist. Just as the tide was about to probably soak her it froze in place. You could hear it crack as the water around her crystalized into ice, forming a U shape around her feet. "Are you alright? The tide can be pretty unruly at this time of night"
He shifted his weight back and forth, from foot to foot, this was uncharted territory for him. However, there was something about her that separated her from everyone else, if he was being honest she reminded him of himself. He didn't know whether that was a good or bad thing. "I'm Domonik. Dom"It was his attempt at starting a conversation with her, a seemingly normal one. He hoped.

He unconsciously reached out a hand to help her up, realizing his stupid mistake when his hand was already outstretched. It would've been cruel for him to take it back, but he knew she had already felt how cold his skin was earlier and was most likely repulsed. However, he left his hand out in the air, and just simply waited for her to decide to take it or not.

Mateo grinned at his sister as she came to sit next to him in the circle. "So, who do you want to land on you?" He half-smirked at her opening question, she just got straight to the point. He would've done the same if he had spoken first. At the beginning of the night he most likely would've answered that question with a, 'whoever's willing'. Very man-whorish of himself, but he knew he wasn't the only one thinking that. He treated flirting as a game, not in a conniving way, although he couldn't help if it came out that way, but rather just for fun. "Well, if everything went as planned, he should be coming to sit in this circle in just a second" He winked at Adrianna and looked back to the circle to see Sylas making his way over, his eyes trained directly on Mateo. Blunt. He liked it.

He leaned over and whispered in Adrianna's ear, "Hook. Line. And Sinker. As my father used to say" His eyes followed Slylas's as the boy boldly sat directly across from him."You're not the only one with some game sis, also don't think I don't see you trying to catch the Dark Lord's eye" He chuckled and flicked a quick glance in Mason's direction. "I'm shocked you got him over here, seemed like a real stick to me, but he is handsome. Just be careful alright? You never know with those Hades kids" He said to her quietly. He turned his gaze back to the circle, watching as Kalani went, kissing Annie innocently on the lips.

He caught Sylas's eye several times, and he couldn't help but smirk. He suddenly wished he was a child of Nemesis, he'd know exactly how to bend the luck into his favor.

Andy made quick work of the beer in her hand as she flowed with the music. When the bottle was empty, she simply conjured it away instead of having to stop to find a trash can. She closed her eyes, letting herself be taken by the music. Since the war, she's had so many heavy burdens on her shoulders that she forgot what it was like to just... Live. It was kind of liberating. She could feel the tension just roll off her shoulders as the alcohol soaked into her system. One night without inhibitions, pain and sadness.

She rocked back and forth with the campers around her, letting her body sway to the beat of the music. Andy's rhythmic movements momentarily dulled when she felt hands slide over her hips. She ran a hand back through her hair as she glanced over her shoulder to see who it was. If it was anyone other than Ajax, he would kill them. But, a soft smile graced her lips when she saw it was him as he pulled her back towards him.

Andy moved her body in sync with his, her left hand resting on top of his, sliding her fingers between his. Her body melted into his arms as they swayed together. Sometimes Andy forgot what it was like being in his arms. They both were always so consumed with other things. Ajax with the camp and herself with all her inner struggles. They rarely got to just be together and enjoy each other's presence.

"Can I come to your cabin tonight?" he asked. Ajax's voice was deep and raw, but still tender.

It took a moment for Ajax's question to actually sink it. When it did, it took everything Andy had not to stop dead in her tracks like a deer in headlights. Her heart skipped a beat, then pounded uncontrollably. She started growing lightheaded, unsure if it was from the alcohol or the question. They've gone to each others' cabins numerous times, at all hours. But, this was more than a surface level question. They've been together awhile, but their relationship hadn't reached that level yet. There were many reasons why she should have said no. But, one reason why she should say yes. Something she hadn't admitted to herself or verbalized.

Her head continued to spin, but Andy let her body lean back into his to stabilize herself without making her dizziness evident. She moved her right hand back, hooking it around his neck, curling her fingers in his hair. She slowly looked back over her shoulder, glancing up at Ajax. After exhaling, she nodded her head, whispering back, "...Yeah." Once she said it, Andy felt a wave of emotions overcome her: anxiety, excitement, fear and nausea. But, she didn't let her face show it. She just held Ajax's gaze as she danced with him.

Wes stared intently at the marshmallow stuck at the end of his stick. He didn't realize that he was kind of in a daze, and that the puffy pillow was burning until he felt a hand on his shoulder. "Hope you don't mind if I join you for a little bit."

"Not at all." He motioned for her to have a seat before pulling the stick from the fire, quickly blowing out the flames on the marshmallow. "I wanted it extra toasty," he lied, making an excuse for his daydreaming. He brought the burnt treat to his mouth, taking a bite causing the goopy white fluff to make a mess around his mouth.

"Something on your mind?" Alex asked after taking a seat beside him.

Wes finished the marshmallow, then used his thumb to wipe the sticky remnants from his mouth. "I have officially found a down side to having only one arm," he said while motioning the stick towards her. "I can't make a proper s'more. I can toast a marshmallow like no one's business, obviously," he chuckled weakly. "But you can't properly squish the melted bastard between graham crackers and chocolate with one hand. My life of campfire snacks is reduced to charred white goop on a stick... With lord knows what on it." He raised the stick towards his face, furrowing his brows as he inspected it.

After a weak laugh and shrug of his shoulders, Wes started stoking the bonfire with his stick, growing silent for a long while. He sighed. "That... And you know, the pity," he said with a nonchalant shrug of his shoulders. He kept poking the stick into the fire, not looking over at Alex. He was skirting around the truth. Not that he had any issue telling Alex anything. But, more that he didn't feel like getting into it when anyone could eavesdrop on their conversation.

His attention was drawn over towards the spin the bottle game when he heard giggling and laughter. Wes didn't realize until that moment that Trinity had joined the game, which gave him a sinking feeling in his stomach. He looked back to the fire, trying to ignore it until the next round was up. "Xena, my love. You got something for me?" He couldn't help the distasteful glare he was probably shooting towards the game. For some reason it angered him, hearing someone else call Trinity, Xena. He teasingly called her that about as much as he called her blondie. But those were his nicknames. Hearing someone else use them made his stomach turn.

Wes shoved the stick into the sand. He then removed his beanie, running his hand back through his hair. He finally looked over towards Alex, giving her a slight bump with his shoulder, attempting his best smile. "Go on back to your kissing game," he said, motioning his hand towards the spin the bottle game. "I'm fine." Wes knew he probably was overthinking things. He'd tell Alex about it later that night when they were alone or tomorrow. After all, it was a party. She should be having fun, not consoling her friend.

Sloane was ready to accept her fate with the tide. It's not like it was obscenely cold or anything, but she definitely wasn't in the mood to get wet. Just when the current was about to reach her feet, the water froze. It arched around her in the shape of a horseshoe, cracking as it turned to ice. Her jaw dropped as she sat there in the sand with her book clutched to her chest.

She looked upwards towards the tall, dark boy that froze her book. Her gaze shifted back and forth between the frozen water and him. "Are you alright? The tide can be pretty unruly at this time of night" Sloane didn't know what to say, staring up at him as he shifted back and forth. He was the first person to really talk to her since she arrived at camp... Which left her speechless and dumbfounded. "I'm Domonik. Dom"

Dom then reached his hand out towards her, presumably to help her up. She swallowed, looking between his eyes and hand. After a moment, Sloane hooked her left fingers in the back strap of her heels, then used the same hand to hold her book to her chest. She hesitantly extended her hand, placing her palm in his. Dom's skin was chilled, not cold like ice but cool like an autumn breeze, soft and refreshing. Her fingers wrapped around his hand, grasping it firmly as he helped her to her feet.

Sloane felt unbelievably short standing beside him without her heels on. She looked over at the water then back towards him. "Thanks... It's the first time I've actually been to the beach. Makes sense that it tries to eat me." She flashed him a weak smile. When she looked down, she realized she was still holding his hand. Her cheeks flushed as her gaze darted up to meet his. "I'm Sloane, she said, giving his hand an awkward shake before releasing it.

After a second, she cleared her throat, brushing loose hair behind her ears. "I don't have any nicknames... Unless you count the names some of the campers call me." Sloane quickly bit her lip. Why did she say that? That wasn't important or necessary information. She was mentally kicking herself. This is why she was antisocial. As she stood there, holding her book and shoes, she could feel eyes on her. She glanced around, most of the campers engaged in their own activities. But then she saw the broken heeled Aphrodite girl glaring at her. Sloane's brows furrowed into a distasteful, disgusted bitch face.

She must have looked particularly menacing or something, because the girl promptly scurried away, disappearing into a crowd of campers. Sloane briefly smiled to herself, before turning her attention back towards Dom. "I uh... take it you don't like parties either?" Dumb question, but she had no idea what to say. She didn't necessarily feel awkward in his presence. If anything, his social ineptness was similar to her own. She just wasn't used to really talking to anyone other than Sylas and her mother... Which isn't much to go off of.

Sylas opted for more of a backseat role in the spin the bottle game. Observing was more of his forte rather than partaking. Of course, if and when the bottle landed on him, he'd make quite a show of it. Particularly if a tantalizing brunette across the way was the fate's chosen victim. Who was he to protest? After all, it's for the sport of the game.

He leaned back, stretching his arms out behind himself to support his weight. His long legs extended before him, crossing at the ankles. Sylas didn't quite see the enjoyment in girl on girl kissing like some other males do. It didn't get him all hot and bothered. Anyone kissing was just kissing in his eyes. The only kind that got him excited was when it included himself. Plus, the kiss between Kalani and Annie was anything but steamy. Seven minutes in heaven would be more exciting than watching a bunch of girl's kissing each other like five year old school girls.

But, the one thing that continued to hold his attention was the attractive gent that he sat across from. Sylas was by no means blind, and intentionally met the guy's gaze whenever he looked towards him. Spin the bottle or not, he had every intention on pursuing that. He had plump lips that looked like the prefect specimen for kissing. And if his suggestive looks said anything, it wouldn't end at just a kiss. Not that Sylas minded... At all.

Oh boy. Another girl landed on... You guessed it, another girl. Sylas tried to keep from actually rolling his eyes, although it was tempting. As if he didn't like Lise enough, her whole demeanor about the kiss was just, bleh. So far, this was the most boring game of spin the bottle. He came for the drama... And the hot boy. Nothing even remotely close to what he wanted was happening. Of course, his face showed a different story. Half seductive glances towards the main reason he joined, and half fake amusement, pretending like he actually enjoyed this game.

"Not at all. I wanted it extra toasty," Alex's smile grew before she chuckled. She couldn't imagine her own life without one of her arms since her power came from both of them, but she admired her best friend for trying his damn best to adjust. He never gave up, and that what she was proud of him for. Headstrong, and determined. "I have officially found a downside to having only one arm," he motioned the stick towards her.

She looked at the end of the stick and smiling as she leaned back just a tiny bit to avoid being poked. "What's the downside?" she asked, her eyes then looking up at him.

"I can't make a proper s'more. I can toast a marshmallow-like no one's business, obviously, But you can't properly squish the melted bastard between graham crackers and chocolate with one hand. My life of campfire snacks is reduced to charred white goop on a stick... With lord knows what on it." He raised the stick towards his face, furrowing his brows as he inspected it.

She wrapped her hand around his wrist and made him poke himself in the nose with the end of the stick he was inspecting. Alex laughed. "I can help, but I know you. You'll do it by yourself one way or another because you never give up." Alex knew Wes was avoiding the real answer with this mini chatter of marshmallows and S'mores, but she didn't mind, and she didn't want to force him to say anything if he didn't want to.

"That... And you know, the pity," she understood where he was coming from since he didn't want anyone to feel sorry for him. She smiled with her hand on his shoulder, then lowered her hand as the kissing game grabbed his attention. She glanced over there with him and cringed a little at how that girl addressed Trinity. Wasn't Xena Wes's personal nickname for her? that was another thing Alex admired about him and Duke. Their restraint. Alex had a fiery short temper like her father and struggled to hold it back when people annoyed her. Wes removed his beanie, running his hand back through his hair then finally looked over towards Alex, giving her a slight bump with his shoulder which made her look at him. "Go on back to your kissing game," he said, motioning his hand towards the spin the bottle game. "I'm fine."

"I'll pass... truth is, I joined for one reason and one reason only." she stopped herself from saying anything else, curling in her bottom lip and holding it between her teeth as she looked down into her lap, rubbing her right thumb with her fingers. "I... I have to tell you something," he probably already knew, but it didn't hurt just letting it all out to her best friend. "I.... I'm falling in love." she confessed and leaned in closer to him. "I just... I'm scared of telling them. I don't want to like, make things awkward for them."

He honestly thought she was going to turn him down. He wouldn't have blamed her if she had, especially with what he did last year after losing his soul. He still regretted every second of it, and now he would spend his entire life making it up to her. It had been such a long time since they had each other by themselves, and Ajax was going to take complete advantage of it by enjoying every damn second with her. She was loving even with the alcohol, so he knew it wasn't just the drink making her the way she was with him.

Andy let her body lean back into his, causing him to swallow a little. He felt so strong around her, yet so weak at the same time. She made him feel vulnerable which he wouldn't usually like, or allow, but... he loved her. As she moved her right hand back, hooking it around his neck, curling her fingers in his hair, she slowly looked back over her shoulder, glancing up at him. That is when she gave him the answer he desperately wanted. They held each other's gaze as they danced.

He cupped her jaw next, slowly moving in front of her. He slid his hand away from her jaw, sliding it steadily down her arm until both his arms were now down by his sides. With his forehead to hers, and his nose almost touching her own with his eyes watching her, his breath became slightly labored. He was grinning a little to himself as his heart was racing at this point. "I love you..." he whispered.

Image Duke joined the girls slowly and watched Evelyn's hand hang mid-air and return to her side without shake.

At this rate things might have been less awkward with the drunkards in spin the bottle. It was that unwelcoming he even thought about merging over towards that game. But he preferred not to kiss people under the circumstances that a bottle told him to. Besides, he wasn't sure if this was how Evelyn and McKenna talked to people or there was some underlying stand off thing going on. He preferred the first because then McKenna definitely had a friend in Eve.

Duke bit his tongue for now though, even when he found Eve's questions a little interrogative towards his sister. When she moved to the coolers, Duke took the opportunity to step towards McKenna. "Call me if you need anything." He knew McKenna could handle herself but Duke wanted to cover all basis. Drunks pushing beers in her hand, Evelyn pushing her temper were probably the most concerning at this point.

Duke approached the fire catching the tail end of Alex and Wes's conversation. "...make things awkward for them."
It sounded more like an intimate, private conversation so Duke kept walking, and frankly, finding heat wasn't ever an issue for him. For now he'd have to stay a little longer before calling it quits and returning to his cabin.

Image Mason tried not to snicker as it landed on Trinity. It looked like it took a while for things to click in place for her, but when it did, Trinity went for it. She didn't hesitate which probably knocked Lise's ego up a couple thousand notches. But even Mason was pretty impressed and if she had done the same to him and kissed him the same way, he'd have an inflated ego too. She hung there for an extra moment, flirting with the daughter of Athena. No that wasn't right...death threat?

“Al!” Trinity called.
"Don't call her over," Mason grumbled, rubbing his forehead. Even the concept of her rejoining, doing some stupid fake modest giggle about having to kiss someone, annoyed him. Or worse those over confident "seductive" smirks.

A few impatient heckles came her way and Trinity took the spin. When it landed on Theo, Mason peered at Trinity's expression and laughed. For a moment he was worried he'd have to grab Trinity when she pounced and attacked him and they'd have to make a hasty retreat but instead, she kissed him like she was going to war. His eyes widened and brows shot up. It was probably the first time Mason was envious of Theo. Like not knowing whether she was going to kill you or give you the best angry sex of your life...what a thrill.

Mason rolled out his neck. His eyes washed over the circle. If the son of Eris knew some sub-text, maybe he'd revel a little more in the drama or make some drama and chaos, or maybe he'd just keep undressing Mateo with his eyes. Mason's eyes landed on Adrianna and he couldn't help the small smirk that passed his lips. He was hopeful but pretty pessimistic about the odds of landing on her and while she was beautiful, he wasn't swept away in the idea of lust like so many others tonight.
Trinity shrunk back into her spot beside him causing him to turn back to her. “Well, next time I join something like this, don't let me.”
Mason laughed. "You did good, I'm honestly...blown away."
Trinity checked her beer. “That’s my cue to go. Good luck, champ.”
"I almost feel left out. Don’t you have something for me?" He tapped his lips as Lise had and laughed.

Boy he hoped Romeo saw Trinity and Theo kiss. Did children of Aphrodite even feel jealousy? His head shifted to Kalani curiously.
"Ani," he said, he thought he had heard people call her that before, "who's your favorite on camp so far? It's not a trick question either," he assured with an amused smile. He definitely didn't expect Kalani to say him, unless in a joking nature. "Just some...soul searching. An interval game, if you will."

Whilst he waited for Areum to respond, Finley glances down at his watch, checking on the time. Surprised at how late it was, Finley then looks over to Gwen, hoping that she hadn't had too much to drink since he knew he'd be the one walking her back to her cabin. Noticing that spin-the-bottle seemed to be winding down, Finley felt ever so slightly relieved, he'd only been avoiding his sister because he didn't want to get roped into kissing random strangers. Since he could barely hold a conversation with Areum, Finley doubted he'd be much of a kisser.

Draining his bottle Finley shifts his gaze back onto Areum, a small smile on his lips. "It's been really nice talking to you,"
He begins earnestly, "But I should probably take my sister home." Finley chuckles, motioning over to where Gwen was seated. "I'll, um, I'll see you around." He says with a nod and walks off. Heading for the table where the drinks were once but now had only empty bottles. Places his own beer bottle down, he runs a hand through his hair, quite pleased with himself for surviving the party.

Others seemed to have decided the party was over too and he spotted Theo walking off with Alex. His sister would probably be a little upset if she saw that, since Finley knew she had a thing for Theo - as much of a thing as a girl can have for a guy she'd only known a couple weeks. Thinking about his sister reminded that he still needed to walk Gwen home and so he turns back to face the party and heads over to where she sat.

By this point the fire had become mere embers and any kind of light it had been emitting was rapidly dulling. Placing a hand on Gwen's shoulder, he leans down so their heads are level and whispers, "Wanna head back?" His eyes shifting around the loose circle that had already seemingly been broken a few times.

Finally, they landed on Annie and Finley's smile grows to become more genuine, he didn't know the girl all too well, but just about everyone at camp knew how sweet she was. Deciding to offer to walk her home also, Finley calls over the circle, "Annie, me and Gwen are going to walk back now, do you wanna come?" If he wasn't mistaken, the Apollo children's cabins weren't too far from Poseidon's, besides, even if it was a bit of a walk, Finley didn't mind dropping Gwen off home and then walking with Annie a little longer.

Finley stands up as he waits for the two females to respond, wiping at the small drop of beer on his t-shirt he had gotten earlier. That's what you get for showing off is all Finley thinks to himself, almost amused at how badly his attempt at being 'cool' had gone.

A sXXTrinity's lips pressed against Lise's, the latter girl's brows shot up in bemusement, and once they finally separated, said expression did not leave her face.

XX"Was that okay?"

O h ,XX definitely. Lot of passion, which is always fun, although you were sending out some major hate-sex vibes. Not that that's a bad thing. Also, I can tell that you're a little inexperienced, but I would be happy to help you with that.

T a c t l e s sXXas she was, Lise knew better than to say any of this to the obviously emotionally conflicted demigod, so instead she just carried on with her detachedly amused smile, and raised her hand in an 'okay' gesture.

S h eXXher own kiss, she was surprised by how quickly she'd grown bored by the game, which was so often the source of drama and scandal- at least in 90's teen dramas. Her attention was quickly drawn away from the empty beer bottle, as she watched with a smirk the chaos around her. Or, perhaps not chaos, not yet. But brewing. She barely knew half of the people at camp, but none of them seemed especially apt at hiding their emotions. Their furtive glances, their jealous frowns, their conflicted gazes... they weren't subtle in the slightest.

L i s e ' sXXeyes drifted to the angsty brunette -Alex, was it?- as the girl dragged Theo away from Xena, clearly unable, or perhaps unwilling to read the room. Ha. Relatable, amiright? A lot of unpleasant rumours followed around the daughter of Zeus, the most prominent being the story of her murdering a fellow camper last year. Apparently, it had been an act of vengeance, and although Lise sympathised with the notion, the fact that she'd been allowed to return to camp without punishment after literally killing someone irked her slightly. Perhaps it was her logical nature, that demanded fairness in regards to punishment and legal retribution. Then again, it wasn't like she was much of a stickler for rules, so perhaps she was being hypocritical.

T h e nXXagain, she had never murdered anybody, so perhaps she wasn't.

D e s p i t eXXthe drama going on around her, Lise's attention was dragged back to her own circle when Mason (Or 'Fall-Out Boy', as she liked to call him) queried Ani about her 'favourite person at camp.' Despite herself, Lise found herself surreptitiously listening in, curiosity riddled with something else caught in her expression. Ani's vague answer brought a small smirk to Lise's lips, and, satisfied, she took her attention back to the messiness around her. At least, until Ani rose from her seat, and Mason's issued yet another delightfully tantalising question.

XX"Do you feel jealous or possessive when your favourite is swept up in someone else?"

XX"For a self proclaimed dick, you're quite the gentleman. Oh, and by the way, I've never had that happen to me,"

S h eXXsmirked once more, only to scoff as the girl wandered off to join her brother.

XX"Bye, then. She sighed before standing and stretching, looking down towards Dimitri with a wan smile. "Well, then, Adonis. I'm afraid this party blows. I think I'mma make like a tree. " Expression bored, she gestured in the direction of her cabin with a silver-ringed thumb.

A n n i eXXhad never been the type to get caught up in drama, but even she could not help but watch the endless plot threads play out, nor could she avoid sensing the growing negativity of the party, as conflict loomed threateningly over every interaction.

I nXXall honesty, the bad vibes had started to stress her out, and she'd spent most of her time sipping on some peculiarly sweet beverage that Lise had pushed her way during Trinity and Theo's kiss. And then another. And another. Downing the remnants of the beverage, Annie silently rejoiced in feeling the bad vibes fall out of focus, blurring into something she could pretend was joyous rather than toxic.

A sXX Ani left the group to see her brother, Annie waved pointlessly at her retreating back, before leaning forward and placing her head in her hands. Her face, reflected in the bottle, was bright-eyed and rosy-cheeked, the latter a side-effect of the alcohol, the former a typical part of her features. With a finger, she twirled it, watching it spin with a soft smile, despite knowing that the game had already reached its conclusion.

T h eXX bottle slowed to a stop, pointing at the empty seat across from Annie, behind which a figure approached to lean across the circle.

XX"Annie, me and Gwen are going to walk back now, do you wanna come?"

T h eXX rising from the bottle, Annie hiccuped when she saw who it was, and after looking at him for a just a moment too long (easy, she assured herself, to blame on her dizziness... or maybe it was her dizziness. She wasn't too sure, in all honesty) she smiled. Widely. Liquid courage, it seemed, had gripped her.

XX"Yep!"

S h eXXstood up quickly, and a lightness flooded her head, causing her to stumble before she caught herself, giggling. Walking with only a slight wobble over to where Finley and and Gwen stood, she grinned once more, pointing wildly in the vague direction of the cabins.

XX"Let's go!"

After Nik scurried away to get the drinks Gwen felt a tad bit awkward. Without the boy who dragged her into the circle in the beginning, she couldn't help but feel a little out of place. Not to mention seeing Theo leave with Alex left a sad pit in her stomach, she hadn't even had the courage to talk to him, so why would she get her hopes up anyway. It was an irrational and girly crush that was probably never going to happen.

Her train of thought was disrupted when she felt a light hand on her shoulder and turned to see Finn, "Wanna head back?"
She breathed a tiny, but audible sigh of relief as Finn was a great excuse to leave the circle without looking like she had copped out. "Yes. Thank gods, I thought I was going to be stuck in this circle for forever..." She whispered back, a small grin on her face.

"Annie, me and Gwen are going to walk back now, do you wanna come?" A true gentleman. The quick thought reminded Gwen of the girl she had seen Finn talking with earlier, it was definitely a topic she was going to have to talk to him about. She got to her feet, dusting off the stray particles of sand that had clung to her legs and shorts from sitting down. Saying a quick goodbye to Em and some of the others she really didn't wait for Annie and Finn. If she was being honest the comfort of her bed just sounded too good to be true.

When they finally made it to the cabins she waved a sheepish goodbye to Annie, and offered Finn a small "Goodnight, I'll see you in the morning".

"I... never really thought of it that way." She was beautiful when she smiled. "Thank you". He was pleasantly surprised in how easy it was to talk to her, which was something that he had never experienced. So much so, that he couldn't control pretty much half the things that he said. It was a strange feeling.

Dom noticed the small bit of animosity when he asked her why she had come in the first place. "Sylas made me come." He watched her gaze shift to that of her brother's, sitting in the 'spin the bottle circle'. He inwardly cringed at the though, he could never imagine himself indulging in simplistic and pointless games. Sylas, for one looked quite self-indulged and was oddly grinning at the both of them when he made eye contact. He turned back to Sloane and gathered from the look on her face that they must've not been the best of siblings, there was definitely something off.

"Figured if I had to come, I shouldn't be utterly bored." She had a definite point, and had already completely beat Dom in the idea of 'surviving a party'. "What are you reading?" He asked quietly staring at the worn front cover of the book. "It's The Iliad. A book everyone should read, especially demigods." Dom watched as she flipped through the weathered pages carefully, she obviously was attached to the story. "It's a good read, but you have to read the Odyssey once you've finished it. The Iliad is about the Trojan War, while the Odyssey follows Odysseus after the war."

There was a small pause in her train of thought, he noticed her shift in thought, and was surprised when she took a step and held the book out to him. "You can borrow it... If you want." His expression probably came dumbfounded as she smiled at him waving the book in his direction. This was the first time someone had ever offered him to borrow something, he didn't know how to react. "I've read it like a hundred times."

He gently took the book from her hold and admired the cover for a moment looking up at her a rather goofy smile on his face. "T-thank you. I promise I'll take good care of it. Or at least try not to give it frostbite again". He glanced back at the group of partygoers and watched as the majority of them started to leave. It was an odd thought for him, in the beginning he wanted nothing more than to leave but now it was quite the opposite. "I guess I better head back" He shifted back and forth on his feet for a moment. Another thing he was terrible at, goodbyes. "It was lovely meeting you, hopefully we get to see each other again soon. I mean, I have to return the book so we'll have to- I guess it just depends on how long it takes me to read it" He needed to stop talking. His face flushed a bright red, and he took a step back clutching the book to his chest. "I'll see you around" He said quietly with a small smile before disappearing quite abruptly partially embarrassed about half the things that came out of his mouth.

When he finally made it back to his cabin he feel back into the bed, staring giddily at the ceiling. After a moment he grabbed the book and opened the cover running his thumb over the small pencil inscription, 'Sloane Astor'. He smiled before closing it and placing the book on his bedside table eventually giving into his tiredness and falling asleep.

Mateo could practically feel the vibe of the party quickly die as most of the campers started to loss interest in what was happened. He hated when parties lost their fire, there was nothing more boring than that. He leaned over to his sister, "Hey Adri, I'm going to go ahead and head back". With that he pushed himself up from the circle, dusting sand off of his pants waving a short goodbye to everyone.

He walked around the edge of the circle towards the exit of the beach not before stopping next to the boy he had laid eyes on the entire night. He leaned down next to him, his mouth dangerously close to Slyas's ear. "See you around, Sylas" He whispered with a smirk before getting up and leaving the beach.

When he got back to his cabin he quickly changed into a pair of loose Adidas pants and fell back on to his bed with a sigh. Even though the party hadn't been too exciting he was still exhausted, but it wasn't anything a little sleep couldn't fix. With that he buried himself into the fluffy covers and fell asleep immediately.

Once Gwen and Annie had both gotten up from their makeshift seats in the sand, Finley began to head for the clearing, making sure to keep pace with them both as he noticed Annie begin to wobble, before realising that she actually looked incredibly drunk. Rushing around Gwen to where Annie was, Finley places a hand on her back in an attempt to steady the tipsy demigod. With a semi-amused, semi-concerned smile on his face, Finley walks like this back to where Gwen and his cabins were. Looking over at his sister, Finley shoots her a look, "You head in Gwen, I'll walk Annie back." He says, knowing full well that he couldn't simply let the daughter of Apollo stumble back to her cabin alone. He wasn't a complete dick.

As he moves Annie in the direction of her cabin, just a couple more minutes walk away, Finley calls back over his shoulder, "Night sis, I'll be waking you bright and early tomorrow." He teases, knowing that would solicit at least a small groan out of the younger girl. Finley always woke before most of the other demigods in order to go for an early swim, something he did every single day. It helped keep his mind calm and gave the boy time to think.

Not forgetting Annie who was still stuck to his side, Finley makes sure he is steadying her properly as they walk, his hand around her waist to keep her from tripping. Once they arrived at her cabin, Finley released the girl, looking down into her eyes with that same, small smile. "Try and get a good sleep," He mutters, his voice low as they were the only two within the vicinity, most of the others having already gotten themselves tucked up in bed. "And drink lots of water, you'll thank me in the morning." He chuckles, giving her shoulder a squeeze before letting go so that she is able to get up the steps that led into her new home.

With that, Finley is gone. Having watched her get in safely, he felt assured that she would be perfectly okay until the morning. Relieved, Finley finally feels the tiredness settle in his mind, fogging his thoughts ever so slightly. Finley makes it back to his own cabin quickly, kicking off his shoes and falling down into bed. He didn't bother changing out of his current outfit since it was only a t-shirt and sweats anyway; comfortable enough to sleep in.

- - -

The next morning, Finley wakes bright and early, just as he always did. Immediately throwing on his swimming trunks, he then chucks a baggy shirt on and grabs his sandals, ready to head for the lake. Before he does so, Finley makes sure to check on his sister, knocking ever so lightly on her door, he lets himself in and is greeted by the sight of the girl fast asleep, tucked up ever so snug in bed. Typically, Finley got his sister up to go swimming with him, but this morning he made an exception. She'd had a pretty full on night and Finley didn't want her to be so shattered that she couldn't participate in the days events along with the other campers.

Exiting as quietly as possible, Finley is sure not to slam the door behind him as he jumps down the steps and sets his sights, finally, on the beach. Passing the small fire pit where the party had been last night, Finley looks at where just hours prior, the whole camp had been engaged in the festivities. How different it looked in the daylight. Burnt logs lay where a once full fire was and there was no one around but a few animals, curiously inspecting the tiny pieces of food that had been dropped during the party.

Smiling to himself, Finley thinks back on talking to the new girl as he reaches the waters edge, letting the freezing water lap at his exposed toes. Slipping off his shirt and sandals, Finley's mind then turns to Annie as he laughs softly to himself about how drunk she was. Sure that she'd be embarrassed this morning, Finley made a mental note not to bring it up with her, he didn't want the girl to feel bad.

Soon, his whole lower torso his emerged in the water, becoming familiar and comfortable within the icy lake. He swims out into the centre where it is so deep his feet cannot reach the bottom, and dives down, now exposing his face to the cold. It's peaceful under the water and Finley lets himself stay there - he felt safe.

Half an hour later and Finley was still swimming, alternating between doing laps and seeing how long he could stay under the water. It capped at around 15 minutes which, while impressive, was not long enough in Finley's books; it was something he needed to work more on. It wasn't up until this point that he even thought about breakfast. Feeling his stomach rumble reminded Finley that he definitely needed to grab something to eat, especially if they were to be doing some tiring training exercises today as he believed they were.

Leaving the water, Finley almost felt sad that he couldn't spend all his time within it's depths, basking in the safety of his father's domain. But alas, he still needed sustenance. Making a quick pitstop back at his cabin, Finley switches out his trunks for some try sweatpants and pulls on some trainers, before heading back out into the early morning sun and making his way to the hall where breakfast was just about to be served.

Son of Apollo

After an uneventful night of not really socializing, the brunet boy decided it'd be best for him to disappear from the scene and go to bed. Not before he fiddled around with one of the instruments that lied around his room. His blue eyes seemed to be intrigued by each of the things, but eventually the male drifted off to a peaceful slumber.

Waking up in last night's outfit, Nikolaos yawned. His eyes a pale green coloring as he stared around his room. A mess it was, he would begin tidying around. He didn't mind a mess, but a lot of it was....well hard to deal with for him. He would hum as he did, and make his bed. His hair an unruly mess, taking a hand through his hair he would flatten it down. He would then get dressed in a different outfit. He often borrowed clothing from his siblings, because he was well.....odd to most. Grabbing a book off the tiny bookshelf he kept in his room, he'd take another look over his room. He would smile, happy with his room and his look, he'd walk out and knock lightly at Annie's door, just in case she was asleep.

The boy made his way out of the Apollo cabin and would walk towards the main hall. He was hungry, hungry for Cocoa Puffs.

Entering the Main Hall, he saw a majority of the campers up and about. He would simply grab himself the small bowl of cereal, a carton of chocolate milk, and sit down by his lonesome. He didn't mind that though, on occasion Gwen sat it with him, but when she didn't he'd often read. He'd take out the one book he always loved, the Strange Case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde. He'd open the book to the first page and silently begin reading eating his cereal.

W i t hXXa final, exasperated groan, Annie opted to turn her attention to less embarrassing topics, and made her way to the breakfast hall. Snatching a paper plate, she ladened it with a trio of syrup-doused waffles, accompanied by fruit, and helped herself to a plastic fork before turning around to look for company. Her eyes caught a familiar face, sitting out in the sun by a not-so-familiar one, and she smiled slightly as she walked towards them.

XX"Morning, Ani!" She looked to Kalani's aforementioned company, and smiled softly. She had never spoken to the girl before, largely because Annie got the sense that she was type who enjoyed keeping to herself, but considering that she seemed to be somewhat friendly with Annie's closest friend on camp, Annie saw no reason now not to extend her own offer of amity.

XX"Hello. Sloane, isn't it?"
