That sparked Ryan's interest. Who was Nick to say he was anything like Ryan? I wonder what he is...he thought, for the first time looking directly at Nick. He looked like any other person, though he couldn't be sure if that was the bracelets fault or not. Probably was though. Ryan shifted awkwardly, sitting up straighter. "I guess you could say it's my race, though I doubt for the reason your thinking. I'm just naturally anti-social. But if you insist on talking to me, what are you?" Ryan said, trying to keep his voice monotone.

Bridgette smiled brightly. "Yeti? That's cool! I've heard of them, but being from where I'm from in Ireland I don't actually know much about them. Actually, I don't know much at all about most places. I lived in the middle of no where so..." she trailed off and her eyes dulled for a moment, getting lost in her thoughts. After a minute her eyes lightened again and she looked at Gabriel. he really did look like winter. She'd seen snow a few times, and his hair was the color of it for sure. "What's it like?"
She stayed pretty quiet and when Gabriel said he was half yeti she was kind of taken back "wow thats pretty cool" she said with a smile.
Ryan eyed Nick carefully. Something was off about him, and if that was all he was he had no reason to be scared. He didn't hurt people all the time without realizing it. "I don't really care what they think of me, but I know it'll be nothing good. Since you work here, you must know what I am," Ryan said softly, looking up at the ceiling. "And sorry about being nosy, but you seem to be leaving something out," he continued. Suddenly he was feeling hungry so he stood up to get food, in the back of his mind wondering if Nick would follow or leave.
Bridgette eyed the boy in front of her. He was nice and calm, not loud and annoying like she often thought herself to be. When he asked what she was her smile faltered a bit. She hoped he wouldn't ask, but obviously that didn't work out well. How do I tell him I'm someone who controls men, she thought dully. She really didn't want people to already not like her. Shoulders slumping slightly, she looked at Misha awaiting her answer, hoping no one questioned her further and just forgot about it.
She then heard the faint whisper in her mind from a thought from someone else How do I tell him I'm someone who controls men, she looked over to Bridgette with a curious look but then looked back down to her ipod.

Ryan found that there actually was decent food around. Picking what looked like chicken and potatoes, he took his time walking back to his seat. The food smelled good too. Ryan smiled a bit, something he hadn't done all day. Sure, he didn't want to talk to anyone, but that was because he was content with being alone. He was now away from his family, who shunned him for inheriting the powers grandfather had.
It's not like it was his fault he killed their puppy in his sleep from attacking him mentally. It just got... out of hand. He couldn't remember what happened anymore very well anyways. He had only been 10.
When he got back to his table, Nick was still there. Ryan sat across from him and began eating, deciding not to question why the older man was still here.

Ryan's hands clenched when he heard him call some guy over. "So that's what he's doing," Ryan thought to himself before resuming eating. All well, let the white haired kid come. Nick couldn't make him make friends. Though it looked like he would try anyways.
Putting those thoughts aside, he realized how happy he was that the food here was decent, not some food you get served in a public school cafeteria. He was almost done when Nick had yelled, so now he pushed his plate away and rested his elbows on the table. He had to admit though, Nick could be really loud. He didn't look like a yeller though. Turning his head, Ryan looked to see if the guy named Gabriel was actually going to come over.
(Sorry guys I was gone for a bit)
Bridgette let out a sigh of relief as Nick called Gabriel. Now he couldn't question her about the Banshee thing. That was close, she thought, picking at her shirt. She had only been half listening to Misha and Luna's conversation. She had been thinking of an excuse to leave if Gabriel asked about her "race". Maybe it was her moms fault that she felt being a banshee was so horrible, or maybe it was because it really was. But Bridgette didn't want to tell people and find out.
Looking over, Bridgette saw Nick sitting with a guy who she had heard say about three words. His name was Ryan, if she remembered correctly. For a moment, he looked like he'd punch Nick, but that lasted for only a few seconds before he went back into his emotionless self. One word came to her as she looked at him. Loner.

Ryan studied Nicks face carefully. Since banshees were female, he assumed that he was Shadronian. But that didn't matter much to him. He practically just told Gabriel what he was. A low growl came from the black and blue haired boy, who was now clenching fists under the table. "I guess it doesn't really matter, it doesn't make a difference," he thought dully, annoyed with himself for getting mad. That was the sort of thing that made him hurt people. Letting out a breath, he closed his eyes. Ryan's annoyance aside, it seemed like Gabriel was an okay guy. Opening his eyes, he looked at the other boy and gave a small nod before looking at a wall.
Banshee. At hearing this, Bridgette looked more intently at the group in the corner and listened. What would Gabriel say? She wanted to know, but also didn't want to know. At least if it bothered him, she'd know she would have to tell him and leave him alone.
When she heard he was okay with it, she let out a long sigh of relief and smiled, turning back to Luna and Misha.
