"I may not be a monster, but I know more than most humans..."
She often acts as a motherly figure, prefering to take care of the others than to jump into a fight. She will, though, especially if her own kids need some help, even though she never has been much of a fighter. She is most often level-headed, but worries rather easily, and can be a little too patient, sometimes over thinking things. She loves company, but it helps that she always knows what she's working with. She relies only on the fact that she is so small, because, as a human, her strength doesn't exactly match up to that of monsters, and she knows it. But she also knows, mostly through her own hopes, that she will defeat the Hirule...with a lot of help, and will eventually get her family put back together. She still writes, but now she puts sketches in with her writings, and has become less of a journal, and more of a record of her dealings with monsters, and anything that might be important for her to remember later on. The sketches are more to help her remember certain symbols and a little bit of alchemy, though she rarely uses that. She still longs to help others out, if she can ever find a way to help, and starts to become a little emotional if she can't find a way to help her friends out.
Amber carries a small dagger that one of her high-school friends enchanted for her; made of silver and enchanted to injure a lot of monsters. She also keeps the small wooden wolf charm her husband gave her whil in high school, and wears it as a necklace, most often tucked under her shirt to protect it. She also has the ability to see through a monster's human disguise to see what type of monster she is dealing with, something else she recieved during high school. she can use a bit of alchemy, but prefers not to rely on it too much. Rather, she relies on the information she has on each race.
Amber went to Carnes High school, where she met all of her friends and her husband. Before Carnes, her brother often scared off other humans from being her friends. But when she went to Carnes and found that her brother wasn't able to interfere, she made her own friends, without realizing until after being attacked that they were monsters. Seeing as she never had many friends before meeting monsters, and that her brother would scare off any other humans, she simply preferred not to deal with them unless she had to. She has made it a point to learn anything she can about monsters so that she can deal with them more accurately, and know better how to help them, if possible. She fights to learn more about how she might stop the Hirule, using the information Desmond gave to her, so that she can bring her family back together, and, hopefully, live a bit more of a peaceful life, rather than all this running and fighting.
