Adelio shufled his feet, and listened carefully to the girl. "Yes." He said, raising his head. "Yes, I sent them home. They had a hard day serving me. But tomorrow they will come, and find the theif who stole my precious crown." He muttered, and ignored her comment about protecting "Wurf". "I don't have time for this proposterous foolery!" He said loudly, and shook his head. "I need to get back to my palace. Oh, my beautiful palace. My guards will protect me then. I will be okay. The Prince will get his crown back. No worries. " He said, not accepting the fact that someone was probably not going to give him his crown back.

Instead, he walked over to a little table and examined the contents of it. He frowned. None of it was worth any cash, so he just took a little mint from in the bowl. When I say 'a' little mint, I mean five. He stuffed one in his mouth and the rest in his pocket. "This will suffice." He muttered, looking at the girl who'd come in right after him. He decided to introduce himself.

"Hello, my subject. I, as you may have noticed, am the Prince." He said, ignoring the little girl that he'd spoken to before, muttering, "Your just a peasant. I have no buisiness with you." He growled, but then turned back to The other girl. "But you, however, look worth my time. What is your name?" He asked, tilting his head.

An was about to show Lina how to make the crane again when Adalwulf began burying himself into the chair. The fake prince's screeching was scaring him..! She frowned and then smiled. "He can't hurt you aru..! Cause you have me aru!" she half shifted and while Adalwulf was in the chair and couldn't see her, she spread her wings threateningly at the fake prince before they went back into her back quickly. She smiled at the faker somewhat creepily before smiling happily at Lina. "Here, watch me again aru." she folded a few more, the cranes of various sizes and colors. "I'm Tian An Men, but you can call me An aru." She made a large black crane before holding it out to the other shadow girl. "Here, I'm not gonna be able to keep all these so you want one aru? Or do you want a crown aru? I can make lots of things aru!" she smiled widely.

"Hello, my subject. I, as you may have noticed, am the Prince." The peacock-man stood in front of her, holding himself in a regal pose. He briefly looked over his shoulder and muttered "You're just a peasant. I have no business with you. But you, however, look worth my time. What is your name?"
“I am Vashti,” she smiled, finding his diction amusing. “And you look very much worth my time.” She glanced over to where the woman who gave orders earlier was seated. Moving closer to the boy’s face she worriedly looked back at the woman before whispering as quiet as she could “You seem to be very good at getting your hands on things. There may be some money in it for you if you could get me just a few items.” Vashti leaned away and said a little louder “But it’s our secret okay?” She held out her hand “So, what’s your name?”

Adelio's face brightened. "Vashti is a nice name." He paused, listening to what else she said. "Yes, yes, worth your time. Our secret. I will order my servants to get what you need." He said, nodding. "My name is Prince Adelio Basil. Pleased to meet you, noble." He smiled, and looked at her hand. His face made a 'Gross, what is that?' look and he kept his hand at his side. He shook his head. "I do not touch others who are in positions lower than me." He frowned, and searched in his pocket, brining out two more mints. "Here you are." He said, putting one in te hand she held out. He ate the other one, and touched his head, remembering that the crown wasn't there.

Lina humphed when the guy called her a peasant, she didn't feel like fighting with him any longer. She went back to An and Wurf, though she saw An have wings for just a moment "you have wings too? I have wings but they are locked by this harness" she pulled at her harness then sat down and watched An make more cranes "how long have you been doing this?" she asked curiously. She wanted to learn how to do this paper thing but she wasnt sure if she had the patience for this thing "I may just watch I don't want to get too frustrated."

An merely looked at Lina. "Wings aru? I don't have wings aru... Unless I grew some aru!" she quickly tired to look at her back only to roll on the floor. She frowned. "No wings aru... Did I have wings for a second aru? Cause that'd be weird aru... But cool aru! Wouldn't you think aru?" she asked no one really white she folded a phoenix and set it among her other creatures before she started on her Longma or Dragon horse. She sat there working on it when she saw a butterfly. It was blue and brown. Her eyes focused on it. It sat on the edge of a chair with Adalwulf and fluttered its wings. Then the little bug disappeared into the chair. An sighed and went back to folding. No one else saw her butterflies but it made her special, though the sometime triggered her episodes. She tired to remember her last one when her memory faded. It happened often to her sleep deprived brain.

Adalwulf Claus Schröder

The boy cracked open his eye only a bit when the screeching ended, taking off his beret and clutching it against his pounding chest. They both had wings. Both! They were both supernaturals, and they were surrounding him. Adalwulf never felt so confused and frightened. Was he the only un-supernatural? No, no, there has to be others. There has to be! Unless the other winged girl was lying? Mein gott! This is so confusing!

Unfortunately for him, he couldn't think straight because of his panic attack, which often feel like heart attacks for him. It's always so scary. "Verdammte scheiße!" The boy cursed in German under his breath, shakily getting up. "How am I going to cope without my mothers here? Adalwulf thought to himself, using the chair for support. "I-I'm sorry but I need to go do something." He murmured to the girls, hiding his face with his beret as he dashed out of the room, running down the hall to find the nearest bathroom or closet to hide in.

Instead, he ended up running head-first into someone, particularly, that guy with the shaggy uncombed hair. Physical contact. Unintentionally. Rearing backwards, he landed on his bottom and pulled his beret away from his face, looking up, immediately frozen with fear, until he burst into a fit of apologies. "I-I'm so sorry! I d-didn't mean to! I-I'm sorry! D-Don't hurt me! Please." He cried out softly, trying to hide his head in case he did end up hurting him: after all, being the paranoid boy he is, you just don't know what to expect.

Christophe sat stone still, eyes glazed over in boredom. His expression didn't even waver when the younger girl let out a horrible screech. He'd admit it though, the yell didn't help his headache at all. The plush chair he sat in suddenly became much too plush for his taste, and he stood up, stretching his sore back. Running a hand through his unkempt hair, her dug through his bag, pulling out a package of cigarettes, a plain blue lighter following after it.

Preparing to light a cigarette, he turned towards the woman near the fireplace, judging her reaction. A scowl adorned her face, her eyebrows set low over her eyes. A sigh escaped Christophe's lips as he sat the pack down into the bag again, zipping it up with a flourish, taking that as a "No" to the whole smoking thing. ' I can't even smoke? He throught, rubbing his temples gingerly, beginning to pace around in a circle.

Oof! Christophe let out a surprised sound as he was bumped into, sending him sideways into a wooden table. "Shit... He was able to complain, until he saw the boy who ran into him. Sputtering apologies, shaking all over, and cowering in fear, the boy looked, to put it bluntly, terrified. Christophe tried to reassure the boy, but he just continued shaking.

I-I'm sorry! D-Don't hurt me! Please." That was the final straw. Christophe reached out, forcing the boy to look up.

"Hey." He paused, narrowing his eyes slightly. "Calm. down. It's fine, I'm fine, You're fine. Just...calm down. He released the boy's face. "I'm Christophe. You?

Lina listened to An say she had no wings but she was sure she saw them, unless she now was seeing things. She pulled her legs up to her chest "having wings arent cool cus then you can't fit in and you have tests done" she says to An in a softer voice then she has used before. She watched the girl fold more paper animals and things "Thats a very cool bird thing" she pointed to the phoenix orgami. She then heard the Wurf "I-I'm sorry but I need to go do something."She watched him quickly go off and wondered if she did something to scare him off, she knew she did because she scared everyone off. She wrapper her arms around her legs and rested her chin on her knees and got memorized in watching the An make the orgamis.

Slowly realizing he was still in the room, and that he actually just rammed into some guy, and now people are probably staring at him, he let out a shaky breath, continuing to shake endlessly: though, when the older man took his face into his hand, his eyes widened and he tensed, arching and flinching away from his touch, though he released him before he flinched away, danke gott.

Grip tightening on his beret, his chest rose up and down as his breathing evened out again. "A-Adalwulf, ne." The boy murmured softly, tugging uncomfortably on his braids, afterwards pulling up his golden knee-highs as they seemed to slip when he was making a run for it. Rising shakily, he put his hands behind his back and stared at the ground, his heart still beating at a fast pace but the intense strikes of fear and the shortness of breath was beginning to fade away.

On the other hand, in the other room, Mr. Sophia was murmuring something to one of his workers; the only worker that knew about his plans. "We've got two murderous insane twins coming, a psychotic 12 year old, and some girl named after a landmark. Write them down; we might have to keep a special eye on the twins though." The worker, which was a woman, nodded and took notes.

Brooklynn Walked in through the doors, holding her mother's hand as if she was a scared little girl. Her mom had explained that she would be living here from now on, that they were special people that knew how to take care of special kids like her. Her friends told her that it would be fun. The place looked like a castle. Maybe she would be a princess. She had been dressed in her softest pink sweater and a pair of jeans. Brooke was comfy, but nervous. "Mommy...Are you gonna visit me?" Her mother looked at her. "Of course..." She had Brooklynn sit why she talked to some people who worked here. Brooklynn just played with her teddy bear and swung her feet.

An watched Adalwulf run away with sad eyes. The butterflies appeared again, this time on the crown. It fluttered its wings at her again before the sense of melancholy began washing over her back like a bucket of primordial ooze. It was happening again. She quickly got up, her hands already shaking.

"E-excuse me, Rina aru... I'd hate to run out on you rike this but I need to go aru..." she muttered, before she took off, the shaking becoming worse and worse. The butterflies were almost surrounding her when she sped past a calmer looking Adalwulf. By the time she reached the end and was away from everyone, she couldn't see straight. The fluttering of the butterflies made it hard for her to concentrate. She leaned her forehead against the wall, gasping for breath as she began to feel the dread and sorrow again. It was another episode, two days after her last. Now she remembered. She had killed someone and hurt two more. then flew off as her other form.

"Baba's okay, Otou-san's okay... Where am I? I'm not at home... They should come find me soon... I miss them... Where is everyone..? Did they leave too..? Baba, Otou-san... They left... Why'd they leave..? They're dead, right...? I don't like it here... Wings... Wing..? Butterfly's have wings... I don't like butterflies... Butterflies made Baba die... Then they took Otou-san too... Why don't they just leave me alone..?" the rambling began as the butterflies covered her. Her eyes darted around looking for something, anything to break. There was only the wall.

Adelio shifted his weight to hs other foot and watched the girl as she came in. He wanted to say sonething like; "Welcome to my Palace, my subject!" Or "Servant! I'm glad you're here, can you fetch me my crown?" But he only shook his head, and searched in his pocket for another mint. He popped it in his mouth, and looked around the room.

So far, the little boy-girl was practically curled up on the floor, sobbing. Then there was the hand-crafter who was running out of the room speedily, there was a boy, about his own age who was looking down at the boy-girl curled on the ground, there was the peasant, who was just sitting beside some strange paper things. Definetly not paper money, though. So it was of no use to him. Then there were Vashti, himself and the new girl who'd come through the room.
He descided to give them nicknames. Obviously, he was The Prince. Vashti was 'Noble', the butterfly wing threatener was, well, 'Peasant'. Then there was the girl who made the paper things, otherwise known as 'Hand-crafter'. The boy curled on the ground he would call 'Ground-licker' Since he seemed to be so clost to the ground he could lick it. Then the black-haired boy who looked about his age, he looked like a bodyguard to Adelio. Next, was the girl who'd just come through the door, whom he would call 'Servant' Because that's the first thing he though of.

With a satisfied smile, he clapped his hands together once. "Perfect." Was all he said, then went back to the mint bowl. "These are delicious, really." He muttred, shoving another from the bowl in his mouth.

The girls arrived at the facility early in the morning, bound with straight jackets and chains. They were escorted by four armed guards, and two male nurses. Though they should have been beaten, and ashamed for being sent to a psychiatric facility, of being convicted of such mercilessness charges, but the air about them was chilling. They strolled down the halls with eerie confidence, their eyes hiding their motives, but revealing windows of psychos that churned the soul. It seemed more like a royal guard, than a prison escort as they lead the girls to their new room.
Upon their arrival they were administered drugs, to pacify them. The nurse popped the pills in their lips, covering their faces until they turned red, choking for air. His heart beat fast in his chest as he looked into their cold eyes, showing no signs of submission. He felt a chill at the thought of what they would do if they were no longer bound. They were left in their cell, after only the shackles were removed. Kitty's tail flicked back and forth deviously as her purple ears flicked toward her sister. Usually they were covered by a hood but all of her personal belongings were removed upon her arrival to be searched. Her thoughts only lingered on how long her things would arrive to her, the package that would be sent shortly by friends in low places. A smile crossed her lips as she flopped her head to the side, her eyes always open a little to wide for people's comfort.
"My dear sweet sister, you're thoughts do not linger on that muļķis still do they? He was a fool to cross us, unworthy of the life we gave him."
Porcelain was lost in thought, though not on the "foolish boy" as Kitty suggested. Her only regret was killing him too quickly, ending her fun. His death was imperative, all part of the master plan. She lowered her head and grinned in return, Now why would you think that Kitty, you know just as well as I do he only existed for this purpose and this purpose only. A puppet in our master production, and this..." she paused, glancing around at the small windowless room with anticipation, , "and this, is just our new playground."
As the girls began cackling together, they each revealed the pills on their tongues, un-swallowed. The comparison only mad them laugh harder, until the door latch thudded from outside. They finished their laugh, stowing the medication in their cheeks as the young nurse walked in. Kitty stood, the boy flinched at her movement, as she sat on the bed next to her sister.
"A little jumpy are we little rabbit, I simply want to be closer to my sister. What is their to fear?" she chuckled in her slight whimsical Lativian accent. Her eyes were like hooks into his soul, dangerous, though tempting.
"What's going on in here? he asked, standing firm. Though they knew better. The two sat unstill, constantly shifting slightly, stretching and extenuating their curves to him. Their eyes were locked on.
"We would like to go play with the others now," Porcelain cooed, her accent slightly thinker, with a hint of darkness.
Oh no you don't, we were warned about you. Manipulative, and beautiful. You won't fool me so easily."
"Oh Pammy, isn't he a delicious little gaļas gabalu, I would just love to eat...him...up." she said, rubbing herself against his quivering body. He was breaking, simply being around her, and enduring her glassy gaze was causing him to slip under discomfort. He jumped at the sound of Porcelain behind him, her wrists writhing behind him. Biting her lips she snarled,"Yes Kat, I feel he would be most decadant...It's almost difficult to resist."
In a flash Kitty was before him, her agility and cat like movement causing him to stumble back. Porcelain was their to catch his fall.
They pressed themselves to him, Kitty melting her boy toward his as she pressed her lips to the startled guard. With her tongue she pushed the medication into his mouth. Hie eyes shot open wide, but Porcelain spun him around revealing she had writhed free from the jackets binding and wrapped herself around him, administering him her own dose. She unhooked her sister, who then pushed the nurse to the bed.
"Thank you Pammy," she said, rubbing her wrists. Soon the boy was undertaken by the drugs, Kitty knelt down and grinned as he scrambled in panic,"Feel honored, you have served your purpose. If there is more that you can do for us, then you shall live to see tomorrow." After stroking his hair fro his face, she watched his eyes glaze over in wither death or coma. Wiping her hands of his touch the girls stepped out into the hall. Two nurses rushed toward them, but were stopped by the wave of a strange hand. A deep voice commanded that they pass, and taking the chance, the two walked away from their cell. A deep and low chuckled echoed down the hall as they grinned, eager to meet their newest toys.

"A-Adalwulf, ne." Christophe nodded, stepping back slightly. He closed his eyes, feeling the boy's emotions mellow out, his breathing less eradicated.

"Hmm...You seem pretty young compared to the rest of...us. He motioned to the rest of the group. "Wait, you have an pretty thick accent. You're...German? He asked, looking around thoughtfully. He laid his eyes on a boy with black hair, munching on a few mints from a bowl on the table. Raising an eyebrow, he turned back to the young boy.

'Excuse me a second' He said, looking back towards the man. Christophe slowly began to lift up above the ground, gliding over to the wooden table in the center of the room. He eyed the black-haired man for a second, then snatched two mints out of the bowl, shoving one into his mouth. Smiling softly, he hovered back to the boy, leaning back in a sitting position in mid-air. He handed the other mind to the blonde boy.

'Is that natural? The color, I mean. He asked, motioning towards the boy's braids.

Lina saw An leave, now leaving her alone she sighed. This is what always happened, people talk to her then they left her. She got up and looked around slightly seeing everyone was busy with eachother or just have gone off. She was bored now, her hair changing to a light brown now, she decided she wanted to explore. She looked once more at the others then walked out of the room down a hallway, she was looking down at her feet thinking about maybe how she could get out of this place when she accidentally bumped into two girls. She stumbled a bit and stepped back her eyes going over the two girls, one that looked part cat and the other just looked weird to her she mumbled "Sorry didn't mean to bump into you I wasn't watching where I was going".

Adalwulf Claus Schröder

"Y-Yes. I-I'm German, a-and yes, I'm young. I-I know I look younger, b-but I'm 13." The boy said, a small, embarrassed blush rising to his cheeks as he stared off the other direction, until he could sense movement and a small wave of air brush against his cheek. Looking in the older man's direction, his eyes widened when he saw him floating. Floating! He felt absolutely alone. The boy felt like he was the only human, and as the man floated off, a soft whimper escaped his throat. Perhaps this man was nice, and not mean? Well, who is he kidding? Everyone's insane here.

Hands trembling as he gripped his beret, he swallowed hard as the man came back over and offered him a mint in which he warily took, only to flinch and let out a quiet mewl when he heard cackling and, to him, demonic laughing down the hall. It was indeed pretty loud, and he decided to inch himself closer to the floating man.

"N-No, it isn't natural. I-I was curious one day and ended up b-bleaching my hair. M-My natural hair color is black." Inhaling shakily, he decided to ask a question of his own. "I-I a-assume you have s-supernatural a-abilities, yes?" As he spoke, his voice went quiet and shaky as the question continued on. "Y-You won't hurt me, w-will you? C-Can I trust you? I-I feel so alone here, besides the t-two girls I've talked to, a-and I've r-reasoned they p-probably won't harm me, b-but I can't help but f-feel fearful. B-Besides, I-I don't even think I-I've run into another power-less h-human yet, unless that P-Prince guy is one, b-but he's scary."

The smaller boy breathed in once again to continue on, hands becoming clammy the longer he gripped his beloved hat. "W-What I'm saying i-is that I need s-someone I can r-rely on. S-Someone m-mature and older, b-because I've never really, e-exactly socialized as much as some people do, as I-I don't really l-like being touched, ne."

Whimpering softly from frustration, as he had a hard time trying to explain himself, he dug his nails into the material. "Mein gott! This is hard to explain. Y-You see, I-I get s-scared really easily, a-and I can't help i-it. I-I was diagnosed with p-panic disorder and Asperger's s-syndrome, I think. I w-would trust the girls and s-stuff, but I-I'm trying to get u-used to other men, ne. I-I've lived with women a-all my life so t-this is really new to m-me. W-What I'm saying is.....!

Okay, at this point, he was beginning to get angry with himself. Just spit out the words, kid! "I-I need someone that I-I know I can feel completely comfortable a-around. S-Someone that I can c-cling to when I'm s-scared, like I do with mama Ada and mama Elisa. I d-don't know why y-you're here, b-but, I w-want to be able to trust someone. A m-man. I want to g-get used to being around m-men, s-so I might as well p-practice here. I-I'm going to be here f-for quite awhile, s-so, I need someone b-because I know I-I'm going to get frightened a lot while I'm here. So, p-please, I want to trust y-you, ne."

Looking up at the man, he felt his heart pounding in his chest as he awaited an answer anxiously. What was going to happen? Could Adalwulf actually trust this man? Dear god! What could happen? Taking in soft, quick breaths, he stared down at the floor with his beret now pressed to his chest.

Adelio's eyes carfully watched the one he would now call 'Guard' as he came over and took two mints from the little glass bowl, then left again. "My Guard likes treats? How strange..." He whispered, and looked back at the bowl. The contents of what was in it suddenly became important. He picked the bowl up in his hand, and stuffed what remaining mints were left into his pocket. He could probably sell this to some peasants, or use it as his new, princely currency. He popped another in his mouth, having trouble speaking through eating it. "These are quite decedant." He said, nodding and patting his pockets.

Turning to face the rest of the room, which seemed empty of value, he narrowed and strained his eyes so he could only see shiny or metallic things. Adelio saw a lot of things that shone, but there really was nothing he would sell. Although, there was a small contraption that he'd seen earlier, In posession of the other black-haired boy, or 'His guard'. "That must be his weapon, methinks." He said, raising his head.

Christophe listened intently as the boy stuttered out his question. He was touched that this young boy would want to be stuck with him of all people, and Christophe was more than willing to help the boy. Lowering himself to the ground, and leaned against the wall, attempting to get comfortable.

'Well, I've never really thought of myself as "Supernatural" but I guess you could say that. And no, I'm going to hurt you. He paused, glancing over at the other Black-Haired male, currently chewing threw another mint. Turning back to the boy, he chuckled lightly. 'You think he's scary? Hmmpf. Ah. So that's why the boy was so jittery, he had PD.

'Listen. You might think you're the only person who's messed up in here. Well, you're not. I...Well, I have schizophrenia. Trust me, it isn't fun for any of us, especially the ones who can...well... He floated up a foot into the air, looking pointedly down at the empty space between his feet and the ground. He came back down, face serious.

'Yea, folks who can do that. But I will tell you one thing. You can trust me. Entirely. He winked at the boy, leaning back into the air once more.

"Wait...You have two moms?

"Now listen, you little freak, the only reason I'm not pushing you out of this car at 180 miles an hour is because your father wants you at the loony bin safe and sound." Daniels mother hissed from the front seat. He ignored her, opting only to turn up the volume on his music and stare out the window. his long, messy hair was tied up with a hair tie, though he did have to push his bangs every so often. they pulled up to the asylum after a few hours of driving, and Daniel jumped out of the car quickly, no longer able to stand being in such close quarters with the woman he blamed for ruining his life. He knew she was following him, so he simply walked through the doors and up to registration. She began to recite his problems. "He's kind of Paranoid, and he doesn't talk to people. Also, you want to keep him away from anything that he could use to harm him self, Daniel here has a habit of lying as well." she said with a snide grin, then signed the appropriate forms. "Welcome to Cata Sophia, Daniel." the registrar said with a smile

Kristina stared out of her window in the back seat of her parent's car. They told her they were going on a drive, and whenever she asked them where exactly they were going, they just told her she'd find out. She knew that trying again would probably be pointless, but she decided to try again. "Where are we going?" she asked, starting to sound a bit like she was whining.

She didn't mean to, she just couldn't help it. She hated not knowing what was happening to her and her day. It's her life, after all. Her mother looked at her with sad eyes, and said, "Kristina, you'll find out soon,"

Her father turned up the radio, effectively ending all chances of conversation. She watched the countryside fly by, and soon they got to another town. She hadn't been here before. Maybe it'll be fun, going to a new place. Of course, it could always be very boring, or worse, another doctor, but she wanted to at least try to see the positive side of things. She hoped it wasn't another doctor. Her parents worried too much about her diet, they thought she had a problem...

She noticed a building labeled as a mental facility, but it didn't click until her Mom turned the blinker on, signalling that they were turning in. "No," she said firmly, as she thought back through the months, how her belongings, especially clothes, started disappearing, and she didn't think anything of it. How her parents told her they were going for a drive and rushed her straight out to the car, making sure she got straight in. They were getting rid of her. "You can't make me go there..."

"We don't have any other choice. We don't want to loose you," her Mom said, as she parked the car.

"So you decide to get rid of me!? Like I'm some psycho?!" her voice shot up an octave on the last sentence.

"You have a problem, and they can fix it," her Dad told her.

Kristina sat in the car, refusing to get out. Her parents pulled a suitcase from the trunk, and went to knock on the front door. They talked to some man, and she couldn't hear what they were saying.

Then he started walking towards the car.

Adalwulf Claus Schröder

The small boy's heart sped up, not sure if it was from fear or relief, and gripped his beret tighter to where he almost ripped it. "T-That's great, ne." He whispered softly, raising his head to look up at the man, contemplating in his mind if he should touch him or not. Adalwulf thought and thought for what seemed like minutes to him but yet they were only mere seconds, and he extended a pale hand, reaching out to the man and gently grabbing his arm, that strike of fear and tingling sensation he always got when touched running through his skin.

Adalwulf let out a soft whimper, the rich German boy attempting to get used to the feeling of physical contact. It felt so odd; so scary, he really had no idea what to do, so he thought of science and art. Science and art, to try to calm himself. Think of the man, the man that said he could be trusted. Once the boy calmed down slightly, he looked back up at the man and took in a couple of quick, short breaths before speaking.

"J-Ja. M-My parents are both females, mama E-Elisa is the o-one that had me though. I-I've never met my surrogate f-father, but, I r-really don't mind." His lips curved into the hint of a faint smile. "M-Mama Ada loves mama Elisa a lot, ne. I-It's really s-sweet. I-I remember, b-back when I was younger lad and we w-were in Germany, mama Elisa would always buy gifts f-for mama A-Ada. Well, s-she still buys gifts, b-but not that often b-because she wants to s-save money. I-I mean, we have a nice amount, i-it's just we like to put it for good uses. W-We occasionally d-donate."

After his words, his eyes went more gentle instead of fear-stricken, as he was beginning to feel quite comfortable. Maybe, perhaps when he's used to arm holding, he could advance to hugging. Well, actually, that's a bit too fast. "Sometimes, w-when I watch m-mama Ada and m-mama Elisa, I wonder to myself how I'll end up when I'm older, ne. Will I find love or will I not? W-Will I be a famous pianist or artist? To be honest w-with you, I-I'm scared of love b-because I'm scared of h-heartbreak, b-but, I suppose it's just things that cross my m-mind. I've still got a lot ahead of me, ne." The boy said, looking up at the ceiling as he put his beret back onto his head.

Daniel did his best to avoid people, but couldn't help but find himself sitting next to a girl who had just been registered. His paranoia kicked in, and he felt that she... she knew.

The ‘Prince’ looked at her outstretched hand in disgust before digging through his pocket. “Here you are.” Adelio said to her like someone talking to a child, and placed something in her hand. Vashti looked down at the mint in her palm. Okay, she thought, shrugging her shoulders and unwrapped the thing and popped it in her mouth. She sat back down on one of the chairs and closed her eyes, just taking in the sounds of the room. She thought she heard the door open, and the footsteps of someone new, but she was too lazy to open her eyes and see.

Allowing her thoughts to drift off to the incident that got her here, the final straw for her parents. They hadn’t believed her when she had insisted it wasn’t her, and who could blame them? When her mother found her, Vashti’s eyes were glued to the flames, a look of pure bliss on her face. She was covered in soot and smelt of gasoline and smoke.
She blinked her eyes opened and groaned, wanting to go lie down somewhere. Vashti pulled her legs up onto the chair and close to her chest, longing for her lighter so she could stare at the little fire and feel the sweet relief of total calm.

The man stopped outside of her car door, and opened it. Kristina smiled and waved. "Sorry, there's been a misunderstanding. I don't belong here. There's nothing wrong with me," she said apologetically.

The man sighed and said, "Kristina, you need to come with me. We can fix your problem," he said, as if he was talking to a five-year-old.

"There's no problem," Kristina repeated, frowning.

"If you don't get out of the car and come in with me, we'll have to have someone carry you in. Would you prefer that?" he asked.

"Of course not. It's just that I don't need to be here. It's just that Mum and Dad worry too much," she said.

"Get out of the car," he said, one last time.

"No."

He went back inside, and she smirked. She won. When he came back out with some big guy, she realized he was serious. He would have someone carry her in if she didn't walk. "I'll walk, I'll walk!" she said, getting out of the car.

She took her bag and said her goodbyes to her parents. They told her that they loved her, even though she knew that was a load of crap. If they loved her, they'd want her to be the best she could be, and being the best she could be involves being skinny.

When they left, she took off her coat and went into the living room, where people were gathered already. Lovely, she thought. If she knew she'd be meeting people, she would have made more of an effort to look good. Her hair was just hanging to her waist, she only wore a little makeup, and she just wore her jeans, a top, ballet flats, and the fake diamond studs and silver charm bracelet she wears all the time.
