Name:
Elisabeth Renee Hill

Age:
She appears to be 19, but she is actually 67.

Sexuality:
Heterosexual

Mate:
None, though she is willing to look.

Occupation:
Barista at a coffee shop

Species:
Vampire

Rank:
Scouter

Ability:
Elisabeth has the ability of telekinesis. She is able to move objects with her mind. However, each time she moves an object she uses some of her energy. The larger the object, the more energy she expends. Because of this, she prefers to use her abilities only on small objects. She will only move a large object such as a bus if she has to because it will sap her energy.

Appearance:
Elisabeth stands at 5'3" and weighs about 118 lbs. She has pale skin, brown eyes, and long, dark hair. Her hair is naturally wavy, though she will straighten or curl it. There is a scar on the nape of her neck, which she hides with her hair. It is from when she was bitten.

Elisabeth likes to look nice, so she will usually wear something cute. Whether it's a skirt and floral top, a flowy high-low Boho dress, or printed jeans and a graphic top, she aims to look good. Her closet is quite extensive and you will never see her in sweatpants. She prefers flat shoes to heels, but will wear heels if she needs to dress formally.

Personality:
Elisabeth has always been an old soul. Even as a young girl she was more mature and wiser than her peers. She is a calm, reserved, and resourceful girl, used to solving problems after being alive for nearly seven decades. When solving a problem she will always use her head before her heart. She is friendly with most everyone she meets, partially because of her position in the coven but also from decades of interacting with others. She usually thoroughly enjoys the conversations she has with others. Though she usually acts maturely, a childish part of her comes out every now and then. This is often seen when she sees bubbles or balloons- two things she loved as a child. If she sees either, her usual response will be to run towards them while freaking out.

History:
Elisabeth Renee Hill was born in Southern California in the late 40's. She was the second of four children born to John and Maria Hill. Her father was an English immigrant and her mother had been born in the United States after her parents had immigrated from Germany. Her older sister, Victoria, was two years her senior. Her brother John Jr. was a year younger than her and her brother Jack was two years younger.

She grew up in a small coastal town and lived a normal life. She spent her childhood years sipping Root Beer floats and playing in the sand. She enjoyed her siblings' company, building sand castles with them and playing all sorts of imaginative games. Though having three siblings could turn nasty, they all loved each other and their parents. Her childhood was a happy time, one that wasn't filled with the ever consuming desire to be on an electronic device. In fact, Elisabeth can remember looking at the blurry TV which showed her the first man on the moon.

Her teenage years were less peaceful due to worldwide events (both good and bad) and the general drama created by teenagers. Elisabeth managed to navigate through it, not becoming a "Flower Child" but also not hardening due to the nature of things around her. She also found a few young men who were very interested in her, choosing to date one named Adam.

Against her parent's consent, Elisabeth went camping with some friends and Adam in Yosemite National Park. The group was jointly celebrating three people's birthdays from their party. Elisabeth was one of them. The camping trip took place a few weeks prior to her 20th birthday. The group had a fun time, drinking and laughing together around a fire. The first two nights went well. The third night was when life as she knew it changed.

Elisabeth, somewhat drunk, stumbled into the woods after most of the others had fallen asleep. She continued for a few hundred feet until someone tackled her from behind. With the wind knocked out of her she struggled to breathe and couldn't scream for help. She felt teeth dig into the back of her neck and a hand cover her mouth. A vampire had attacked her.

The vampire had not intended to let her live, but he changed his mind when she soon stopped struggling against him. She knew that death was upon her and that it happened to all living things. There was no avoiding it. She closed her eyes and waited for herself to slip away. Her attacker, a telepathic vampire, realized that she wasn't just a careless teenager. She did not fear death as many did, but instead embraced it. She succumbed to a dream like state which lasted for three days. During this time, the vampire who had attacked her took her across the country to join his coven.

She awoke somewhere on the East Coast, confused. Hadn't she died? Yes, a part of her had. But she was still alive. Confused and obviously having no experience hunting or feeding on humans, Elisabeth remained with the coven. After about five years of being a vampire, she began to display telekinetic abilities. She has since become very comfortable with them.

Most of her coven was eventually killed. She and her protector joined the coven in Cherry Blossom almost 3 years ago. She was assigned to be a scouter by the coven, meaning she looks for threats and prey. Due to the recent events, she also acts as a spy since she frequently is inside of the town.

However, she is still new to the battle between werewolves and vampires since she spent most of her life without this conflict. As a result, she harbors few bad feelings towards werewolves. She actually thinks it's unfortunate that they are feuding and feels bad for them. After the head of her former coven died, there were a few days of fighting between the higher ranking vampires. The situation resolved itself without much bloodshed or dividing the coven.

She does not harbour much bad blood for witches either, though she's only ever encountered one.

Other:
Elisabeth lives in an old house outside of town. It is in a dense grove of trees, as the house has been abandoned. Unbeknownst to her, it the house which Roman Kingsley grew up in.

{Feel free to make her protector and PM me so we can work out details. If he isn't made he will be an NPC}

Lilly Smith

The moon was just coming up, you couldn't see it just yet but Lilly could feel it. It wasn't quite a full moon but it was close. She spent all day training, she didn't want to be bothered today. For her it was the anniversary of her brothers never speaking to her kindly again. For other werewolves it was the same, families broken to shreds, friendships shattered. For the vampires it was a semi-glorious day, with the packs on the cusp of war they had opportunities to invade the town. For the humans it was just another day.

Taking a break from her running she sat at the edge of a small creek and watched the fish swim by. She let her mind go blank, something she never does. It was nice to have a few minutes without a care int he world. Lucky fish. You only have to worry about not dying and reproducing With a heavy sigh she stood, whipped off her jean shorts and began running her way pack to the pack house.

Not only was this a sad day but a happy one. She had become Alpha on this day and she worked hard for it. It was a time for grief and celebration. She ran faster, her breathing not affected at all. She wasn't much for celebration but some of the pack members came up with the idea and she didn't want to be a downer. She made it to the pack house and there was music already playing. More people had shown up than she thought, she slowed to a stop and walked the rest of the way to the door. Before she could open it Hanna, an omega, opened the door with a huge smile. "The guest of honor has arrived!" the girl yelled over the music causing everyone to yell in return. She was already regretting this.

In her usual spot, at the only diner in town. Anyone who worked there pretty much knew her, knew what she was going to order, and knew when she would come in. They pretty much knew her routine, so much so that that night her order was already at her usual table. She turned to the waitress behind the counter and smiled, "I had to make a darling couple move tables to make room for ya, sweetheart." The woman said in a southern accent. Vivian had known the woman since she arrived in town, she half expected her accent to be gone by now but she grew to enjoy it. She sat the booth and scooted close to the window so she was sitting diagonally and pulled out her book she recently bought from the bookstore.

She opened the book and took out the marker setting it on the table and began reading. She didn't bother touching her food and no one bothered asking her if she still wanted it. She would spend so long reading before she even touched her food. Once she sat there for exactly 4 hours and twenty-five minutes just reading, her food untouched, the waitresses had made a bet to see how long it would take her to even look at the food.

Julie Sinclair
Julie had slept all day, something she normally does when the sun is out. Some people would just watch tv or movies but Julie doesn't even own a tv. She doesn't like the new technology being born hundreds of years ago. The only thing 'new' that she has is a cellphone but it is the most basic phone, she only got it so she could keep in touch with the others int he coven and some friends and her boss. Tonight she had to work, she was a stripper and she was the clubs most popular dancer besides the youngest girl there because some guys are perverts. Unfortunately, the sun was still up so she would still have to wait in her apartment.

Once the sun was gone she was free to roam the town, this was one of the only bad thing about being a vampire and she hated it. She got dressed and was on her way. Normally on her way to work she dressed in normal clothes jeans and t shirts but tonight she felt a little racy so instead she wore a plain black mini dress and heels. She liked to stir up trouble in town especially with the women who hated her and what she did for a living, it was her daily joy in life besides murdering witches and drinking from humans.

She got to work, late which her boss wasn't happy about but she didn't care. He didn't yell at her like he would have done with the other girl because she was not the type to take his shit plus she was popular so she got a little more leeway. She made her way to the dressing room waving hello to the bartender and a few of her work friends. The club was packed tonight which was nice for her and the girls. She liked when it was packed, about half her customers wanted private dances and that was when she would drink from them. She didn't kill them because that would give her away but some have had to go to the hospital from her drinking a little too much.

Humans... You can tell them that they can do anything, and yet, they won't know what to do. But tell them what they can't do, and you'll know what they want to do (and probably end up trying to do anyway - Yoda advice ignored well). Somehow though at the end of the day, through all the mess and trails of humanity, most tended to remain decent human beings. He'd be damned if he knew how. But then, he'd be damned regardless. He was a monster after-all. "Hey! Deep thoughts much?" Nathaniel halted his forward momentum; blinking in mock surprise as he hauled himself out of the inner winding thought process that his mind often went to after nearly two centuries of 'unlife'; and offered his current company a genuinely sheepish grin. "My apologies," He hummed lightly, apologetic. Pausing as he observed the woman, a young and mousy thing, with an air of renewed interest. Her name was Carrie if he remembered correctly, and was a nurse at the hospital where he now worked; and had offered her time, company, and conversation towards a 'new' stranger (and rather dangerous one at times) on the walk outside towards the parking lot after their shift had ended --- at night, within a town like Cherry Blossom with an unspoken rule of preferably not doing such alone or with the company of someone you barely knew. Ahh, humanity... It's just been a long day, Carrie 'dear. I do tend to get in my head, and let autopilot run when exhausted. Well it was not entirely true, as a vampire, a well-fed and uninjured one, wouldn't ever truly be exhausted; but for the sake of role-playing as a newly junior medical staff that had been jumped from interview right into a full strenuous work-week, exhaustion would be perfectly understandable of the human condition. Carrie nodded in agreement, before responding in return with a chuckle on her lips, "Oh! Well, good then, for a minute I figured you thought my hospital stories were lackluster.” "Never, never." "Hah, smooth, thanks... Well, I guess you probably need (and want) to get back home for the evening?" "That'd probably be best, but first, ahh… Two blocks north from here, and then a right turn on main – lovely little coffee shop that has respectable tea, yes?" "Wow, yes, spot on memory... I'll see you around the hospital then?" "Yes, G'night." "Good night, and be careful!" And with that final statement, Carrie gave him a small wave farewell, before turning and leaving to walk towards her car in the far lot – straight backed, painfully weary of her surroundings, clutching her purse and keys a little tighter. Nathaniel waited, watching silently as she departed south and while it was nigh the perfect opportunity for a ‘snack’, he didn’t budge: For one he was well fed to begin with; next, she was nice enough human, did her job well, and had a family to take care of; and third, why it would be terribly rude to poach a coworker after only a week in their presence. It wasn’t long of a wait, however, before he lost easy sight of her distant figure with the shoddy lights of the parking lot, and could turn about on his own heel away from the ‘common courtesy’ of making sure she got almost to her car safely and headed towards his own waiting bike. The bike wasn't anything special or exceedingly expensive, but it had worked to get him from point A to B while blending in (or using a vampire's swiftness and endurance was unnecessary). Unzipping his jacket, he dug into the pocket of his scrub-top to pull out his pair of keys, sticking them in the ignition and after a momentarily coughing roar, the bike began a gentle purr as the engine warmed and ran. He gave a passing cautious glance over his surroundings, taking a deep breath and did not find anything strongly apparent but the staleness of furry, wet dog (or werewolf), humans of course in abundance, and mostly strongly the gas and oil rumbling beneath him as he sat down upon the cycle; before sliding the helmet down on his head, kicking up the stand, and rumbling the bike to a slow even start – out of the parking lot, down two blocks before a right turn on main (not that he'd really needed those directions from darling Carrie, having been there a time or two on the occasion he'd given Elisabeth a ride the or had picked her up after her shift, or had been dragged there by Nadine and her guilty attraction to coffee; but his bored spell that had him forging the right documents and title to acquire a job as a junior medical staff, somehow made him 'new' to the town all over again), towards the small coffee joint... Nathaniel was hardly surprised to see Nadine there already, no doubt sipping away coffee and on the prowl for something more with a handsome fool; but was wise enough (to avoid her teeth at his throat) to not verbally acknowledge her and ruin her cat-and-mouse game with the poor sap, and gave instead a polite if lingering glance instead as a 'hello' - as he made his way to the counter, ordering a small cup of an properly hot "English Breakfast" tea too "wind down."

“Order for William, hot English Breakfast tea.” Nathaniel had not ever bothered to offer his true name to any of the coffee shop employers (save Elizabeth of course), to selfishly save himself from the butchering that it would no doubt entail; but it wasn’t like very many ordered Tea from a coffee shop anyway, so the order came out timely and with ‘his name’ attached instead of a number on the receipt. He rose from the table, conveniently across from Nadine who met his glance again briefly bright and warm before shifting to cunning as she got her prey for the evening out and moving out the door with the other Will, giving her a short nod on his way up to the counter. Offering the waitress a small, genuine smile of gratitude, he hummed softly, Lovely, Thank you. “My pleasure.” Nathaniel passed briefly besides the condiment table, as it never hurt to add a rare amount of cream and sugar into one’s tea occasionally, before settling back down at the table he’d previously occupied; drinking his tea, making himself busy idly flicking through the newspaper of the week haphazardly stacked on the table with apparent (if technically lack-luster) interest as he waited… It wasn’t long wait before her familiar scent, though a little stronger with blood taint (without death accompanying it however, having left her prey unconscious or drunk off his own empathy), wound around his senses again as her fingers slipped through his to pry away his cup of tea from his loose fingers as she smoothly sat down in front of him and took a sip. Drive me home, will you? I came here by foot.” Nathaniel tsked lightly under-breath at her admission. It was not necessarily disapprovingly (which Nadine would easily understand) but more than enough offered for the causal eavesdropping potential provided from other guests of the coffee shop – whom clearly noted her confident departure with that handsome man (foolish and human of course, but still more of a man than the charming but definite boyishness he possessed certainly) not long before hand, before her unhurried return and sliding unto the other side of his table, drinking his tea, and making conversation as if nothing had happened previously. Putting down the newspaper section he’d been observing in disinterest, he stretched forward with the smallest of frowns barely gracing his lips as he wound his fingers between her own and rescued the tea. Of course, Nathaniel mused, enjoying the pause in taking a sip from his recovered cup of tea before he continued, If you’re full of the night already that is? It was an honest question, as he did not mind taking her home in the slightest; but even well-fed so early along in the evening, he’d known her long enough to doubt she was ready nor willing to go back right away at that moment. But, of course, it would be up to her.

It was one of the few nights where Elisabeth was not working at the coffee shop. That didn't mean there wasn't work to be done however. With the full moon near, the town was sure to be crawling with wolves as they took advantage of their more powerful, wild selves. More powerful wolves meant that the two packs would likely clash, but it also meant they'd be more likely to be on the streets. As a result, the young vampire needed to make sure she was well fed and aware of the wolves' general locations so she could warn the rest of the coven.

It was a lovely night, warm enough to walk around in a short sleeved shirt and pants comfortably. As she walked, Elisabeth paid attention to everything around her-- the sights, the sounds, and perhaps most importantly, the smells. There was a mingle of human and werewolf smells all around, but few fresher scents from any of the wolves. If she had to guess, the last wolf to walk this street had done so hours ago and tracking their scent would hardly be worth her while at this point. It could be difficult being a scouter, but she'd grown quite capable of the position in the last three years.

She continued on her way, walking down the street which would eventually intersect the main one in Cherry Blossom. This route not only made it easier to find fresher wolf scents since she was in a more central location, but also ensured the likeliness of humans being around should she come across a wolf or need a meal. In fact, her usual pattern of scouting the town could be described as a diamond with an x through it, the x being the first part she checked.

As she continued to walk she passed a few small groups of humans, young adults with little fear of death and no idea what kind of war was being raged in their town. At times Elisabeth thought it must be nice to be so oblivious, to ignore the caution with which older town members walked through the streets in favor of bouncing side by side, laughing at the idea of vampires and werewolves. But knowing this would never be the case for her, she'd simply sigh and push those thoughts aside. After all, these streets could be just as dangerous for humans as it was for vampires.

Gerald gave his mother a hug before leaving the house, promising her he'd be home before 2am. She was weary to let him go out too late, as she knew things which he did not, but by some divine intervention (or perhaps a protection spell or two) he'd never gotten into any trouble after dark. And so, though still reluctant for reasons unknown to him, she allowed him to go out as long as he was back at a semi-reasonable time and he promised to drive, not walk. Of course, he obliged his mother's wish and took his car, but it wasn't uncommon for him to walk alone around town in search of a friend to talk to or a place to pass the time.

In search of a second round of dessert and friends to talk to, Gerald drove to the diner which he and his friends would frequent. With any luck, Vivian might be there reading a book. He consider her his best friend-- they'd been friends since childhood and she was the first of his friends he went to see after returning from college. He'd had a crush on her for a few years, but never acted on it for fear of jeopardizing their friendship. He was also weary to try a relationship as he'd planned to go away for college. While he did his best to hide his feelings, sometimes it could be evident he wasn't just being his friendly self but was rather trying to show Vivian how much he liked her.

After entering the diner he immediately looked over to Vivian's regular booth, smiling as he saw her. She hadn't seen him yet and perhaps that was a good thing, as he was grinning like an idiot. Before she or any of the others at the table, two of whom he was able to identify, could notice his derpy, puppy-like smile he quickly did his best to subdue it to a small grin. He went to the counter and asked the waitress for a chocolate milkshake to be sent to Vivian's table. As he did so he took the time to contain his excitement that he'd be able to be with her tonight. Being able to talk to Charles and Brooklyn was an added bonus, as he liked and got along quite well with both of them.

With his milkshake ordered, the young man walked over to the booth and took the open seat beside Vivian, raising an eyebrow at Brooklyn and Charles. It wasn't anything too unusual given Brooklyn's playful nature, but it also caused him to question if there was another motive behind it. Either way, he wasn't going to comment on it verbally. There was also a man here whom Gerald hadn't met before, but he was sure the two would be introduced in no time. "Who would've thought I'd find you guys here?" he asked sarcastically, smiling briefly at Vivian.

"Shit, shit, shit, shit," Roman repeatedly mumbled to himself as he was doing his best to change into pants that didn't have dirt stains on them. He'd just woken up from one of his rare naps which wouldn't be a problem if not for the time. The pack's party had started almost 10 minutes ago. Forget the fact that he was supposed to bring the chips-- Lillian was going to kill him for not being there on time.

He continued to frantically dress himself before grabbing his phone, keys, and the five bags of potato chips he was contributing to the party and getting into his truck. A short drive later, he was at the edge of the woods which surrounded Cherry Blossom. He'd have to run to the pack house from here. He quickly hopped out of the truck, making sure to grab the chips, before locking it and rushing off into the trees. If anyone was nearby he probably looked like a mad men, but then again few would be crazy enough to be out but the woods at night. Not in a town like Cherry Blossom.

Once he arrived, he threw the door open and yelled, "The chips have arrived!" to which there were quite a few cheers from the (likely intoxicated) pups in the pack. He set the bags down on a table against the wall. He glanced around and noticing that neither Lilian nor Serena were in sight, headed into the kitchen in search of his best friend, the pack's beta, and a cold beer. Lucky for him all three were there.

Neither of the women before him looked overly thrilled, which he couldn't blame them for. The celebration was a bittersweet one. He'd only been back for a month or so before the chaos over who should be the next Alpha began. It was a nasty affair and the results perhaps even worse, but no matter what he would stick by his best friend's side. But this was still a party and Roman hoped he could at least help Lilly feel more at ease.

He gave a small wave to them before heading over to the fridge and grabbing a bottle of Bud Light from a six pack that had his name on it. Ever since he'd begun to put his name on the packs, the theft of his beer had decreased significantly. After opening the bottle and taking a drink from it, he turned his attention back to the alpha and beta. "So which excuse story do you want to hear-- the one with the raccoon or the one where an elderly woman hit me?"
